Stopped in beauty with my mom (wheelchair bound). Needed a few beauty items for each of us. Several of these things were locked in shelf, so we needed an associate. No biggie, right. Except there was no associate in sight. So I pressed the associate help button at register. It verbally said someone was on the way. 5 min later, I pressed again. Long story short, 25 minutes and 5 presses later no ever showed. 5 sets of customers walked while waiting. I stopped at customer service to complain to the supervisor there about the lack of coverage ...... to say she couldn't have cared less would be a massive understatement. I've gone from online Walmart customer, to canceling that and now I'm finally taking all my business elsewhere. These people fobt train and truly don't give a rats behind. The jewelry employee yesterday refused to assist me because he "didn't speak English". DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! The employees act like they don't speak English and refuse to communicate and assist you, mainly the front end employees. I have not seen any manager keep this store organized, the shelf's are disorganized and things are in the wrong locations. IF THE EMPLOYEES ARE REFUSING TO HELP CUSTOMERS THEN QUIT OR TERMINATE THEM! I've been coming to this Walmart for years now as it's close to where I leave, and although it is Walmart, I actually think this location is pretty good. It's often a bit chaotic on this store but for the most part I can always find what I need, the prices are low and the staff is usually friendly. I have been increasingly using their curbside pick up and at first I would have frequent issues with not getting exactly what I wanted, I think their process has improved a lot! Know that if you're doing pickup, it can sometimes take a little while for them to bring out your order after you've checked in. read more

Waited over an hour for grocery pickup that was supposed to occur between 5pm-6pm. When I checked in, it took a whole additional 20 min for them to bring out the order. When I asked if there was any sort of discount for refund for them running way over, I was told "There's no reward for complaining" and I responded "I don't want a reward for complaining, I just wanted to know if my time dealing with your late service would be compensated." Absolutely no respect. If you do a grocery order here, order days in advance and order 2 hours earlier than the time you want to pick up. Worst Walmart experience I've had in a while. read more

If you buy food here, make sure you are checking the expiration dates. I have purchased multiple items here without checking the dates carefully, only to discover after getting them home that they expired 6-9 months ago. Other than that, they do have a lot of self-checkouts, but few or no cashier-run checkouts, so you'll want to keep your cart small, do a pickup order on their app, or go elsewhere (there's plenty of other options not far away). read more

It would be nice if your door greeter's would use common sense, when someone is bringing in a dog!! A Rottweiler was allowed to come in store, without a service vest on. I was met in the back of the store, while shopping, with a woman TRAINING her Rottweiler to be a service dog!!! This woman had to step between me and her dog because it was coming at me while on a mobility scooter!!! I cannot believe the store would allow Rottweiler's to be trained as service dogs in your store!!!! I guess the greeter ARE only allowed to ask if the dog is a service dog and if the person says yes, then they are allowed to enter premises!! They cannot ask for proof! Per store manager! This is the best Walmart I have ever been to. The Pharmacy here is particularly outstanding. They have helped me so much, I can't tell you how much it has meant to me. During the Covid-19 pandemic they did a fantastic job of maintaining a safe store. I really appreciated the special early morning hours for senior citizens. I get all of my groceries here because their selection is so terrific. I never expected a Walmart to be this good. It is really amazing and the staff here is especially helpful. My ONLY complaint is that I wish they had more carts for handicapped customers to use. And I wish there was a bench I could sit on at the exit while I call for an Uber to pick me up. read more

This Walmart Supercenter location is fine. When I was younger I used to love visiting Walmart, but the older I get the less I enjoy shopping there. It can be convenient, because Walmart carries most everything, but the stores are always a mess and checking out is usually a pain, because they have so few cashiers working and the self check-out is always backed up, with several of the machines out of order. This location was actually fairly organized, and all of the self check-outs were working. Plus they had a dedicated attendant at the self check-out area to assist anyone who needed it, which I thought was great! If you're in need of a Walmart run, this is a good location to visit. read more

I've been to this Walmart two times. Both times there were no electric carts for the handicapped available. I can only walk for a few minutes at a time so this was very bad news. First visit there was nobody around to answer any questions at the entrance. Second time there were two greeters at the entrance but they were too busy chatting to ask if I needed help. However, I must say that the Pharmacy here is outstanding. They blew my mind with their helpfulness and competence. And I did find one helpful employee in the housewares area. I have to give the store 1 Star since I can't go there again if they have no scooters for the handicapped. Nothing else matters if I can't get toI give the Pharmacy a perfect 5 stars, though. They are the best! They never have any bottles of Starbucks iced coffee either. The last two months they havent had any. read more

I went to Walmart to pick up an eyebrow pencil for my wife. It is one cosmetic item she chooses not to purchase expensive brand names for. I am fairly inexperienced as I don't wear cosmetics! I went to the cosmetics section and looked for the exact item she asked me to pick up. After only a few minutes of searching a nice employee came and asked me if I needed help. I told her the name brand, use, and color number and within seconds the item was in my hand. She offered to help me find anything else I needed, but that was it. The clientele of Walmart is always a sight to see. Usually you'll see several people shopping in their pajamas. Don't go through the self-checkout line. I literally just depend 35 minutes at the sporting goods department. I had called the store 3 times to have someone paged, talked to 6 different people and could not get one person to help me so I could buy a box shells for hunting season. You can't tell me out of the hundred people stocking stuff that one of them didn't have a key. I find that the management at the Lexington ky walmart are total heartless jerks of whom seem to find the enjoyment of seeing others struggle. My son is a lineman in Ky and lives in Tn. He was stuck in a situation needing money so we wired him a money gram to be picked up at walmart . The money gram wired him a pen number to be given to pick up his money. However, they would not give him his money at pick up. Saying because his TN given CDL licence was not a good ID for pick up. He called us for another plan and we talked with manager many time for help and any other possible way we can send him the money he needed. no help, no concern lots of eye rolls total jerks as if he were trying to fraud a system. When we called to speak to this manager ourselves and offered to give them our credit card number over the phone, trusting them more then they did us, we were again denigned any form of help. Now, I know this can be done at walmarts, because my parents live in gulf shores and I use my credit card over the phone for her all the time no problems. This was no security issue. It was his money gram with his pin number sent to his phone. This was evil intent. My son was stranded with nothing and no one was willing to or smart enough to figure this out. There is a real mental problem with people like this. Your kind corrupt this world and show hopelessness to our world. You may have enjoyed seeing this struggle. But God is good and all ended well. In a very "girl" moment I got windshield wipers and had zero idea how to install them. The Auto crew put them on for me, Topped my liquids and checked my tires. It was so above and beyond! This Walmart is up the road from the mall and on the corner of Nicholasville Road and Manowar. It is really easy to get into and find a parking spot. The few times I ventured here, they seemed to be short staffed. I waited in line quite a while just to buy 3 or 4 items. That is crazy talk. The staff isn't rude at least like the North Side of town, but I would almost prefer rudeness over slowness. That is just me. It is a great place to get anything and everything you may need for your house, but check out is just so tiresome. I prefer Hamburg Walmart when I am shopping in Lexington. This is one of the five Lexington Walmarts and I prefer this one over the one near my house, so sometimes I'll drive out of the way to get to this one. This WM is close to Fayette Mall. So if you need to pick up grocery items after your trip to the mall, this and Meijer are your options. Say what you want about the Wallys, but you still go right? Why? Stopped by this Walmart after dinner last night because the hubby saw something online that said this Walmart had in stock, they didn't so that's strike 1. While hubby was looking for his item I decided to grab a few things from the grocery section so we wouldn't have to stop at Walmart again when we got home to Richmond. Picked up a couple of 6 pack bottles of Mt. Dew that hubby needed and also got a bag of celery hearts and a sack of grapes. Got home and half the grapes we're molded. Now I can practically hear some of you saying "well why didn't you inspect the bag?" I did.I always pick up the bag look from all sides and bottom but the moldy ones were smack in the center of the bag almost like they arranged them there on purpose in order to still sell them. My celery hearts were destroyed by bugs on the inside of the ribs and had turned brown. Also found a live worm still roaming around in there as well. So my produce ended up in the trash. Strike 2 The store was packed (not their fault as it was the night before Mother's Day) but it was also pretty filthy and not zoned at all. Strike 3. I definitely will not be shopping at this Walmart again. I'll stick to Richmond or if I do need to stop at one in Lexington I'll go to the Hamburg location. read more

I'm not a huge fan of shopping at Wal-mart, but there are times when it is the most convenient option, so I tend to shop here once every few months. The store itself is pretty good as far as being clean, reasonably well-stocked, and there usually isn't too much of a wait to check out. However, their check out staff is AWFUL. Here is a rundown of my past three visits while at checkout: 1st: woman was incredibly rude and condescending when their credit card screen was broken and repeatedly said my husband "just can't follow directions and read the screen." Really? We both have graduate degrees. Our reading ability is pretty good. THE MACHINE WAS BROKEN! 2nd: As I check out with my 2 year old, he starts to cry because he saw a toy identical to one he has, thought it was his, and wanted to take it with him. The cashier asked why he was sad, and I explained, at which point she turned to him and said "just keep crying! If you cry enough, Mommy will buy you anything you want." Ummmm... not this Mommy! 3rd: The cashier made no eye contact or greeted us at all, when I thanked her after paying, she rolled her eyes, and left my purchase out of my reach (at the back of the bag spinner, which she was leaning on), so I had to ask her twice for it, before she finally did (with a dramatic sigh). The store is fine, but employee attitude and customer service need to be improved. read more

Walmart as a company is not my favorite but this review is geared towards this location in particular. I don't really shop inside but I do use the free grocery pickup, which is awesome. The people who do this service are helpful and make sure that you are satisfied with your order. Prices are very reasonable and usually the cheapest on most items, although I would rather pay more so all the employees have a livable wage. read more

When we go to check out there are only 4 out of 30 registers open and the lines wrapped half way through the whole store !!!!! This Walmart is still 24hrs which is a plus but it has less stuff than more larger stores in the area. All the Walmart's is the Lexington area seem to be a target for theft of hood rats. This location is no exception. They have a subway inside, a R/x, a tire and lube, lawn and garden Dept and the store is usually cleanish. They did not have what I came for but I decided to pick up a few cans of dog food while I was there for the pup. I waited in line to check out for quite sometime as is always the case with Walmart. All in all I would rather shop somewhere else but it's what we have on a Sunday night when your out and about and looking for something to purchase. read more

It's Wal Mart so you can almost always expect a crowded parking lot and a herd of people inside. Best times to shop at this location in particular is around 5am-8am. Lines at check out are almost always backed up and wrapped around even for self check out so expect a wait and be patient. Store for the amount of traffic if pretty organized and clean. Also, if your driving in and out please be careful and pay attention to if you have a stop sign or not the amount of accidents coming in and out of this location is a little scary / ridiculous. Pay attention and use common sense on the way in and out and save us all the headaches :) read more
