This Walmart deserves some love. It is close to my house and I shop there frequently. I shop in store, do pickup orders and have home delivery. I am a 59 overweight, handicapped, white woman and nothing makes me madder than when I hear people refer to this as the "Ghetto Walmart ". I have always been able to get help when I needed it and was treated with courtesy. They have many long term employees doing a great job and putting up with a lot of nonsense. Numerous times when I couldn't find something an employee would actually walk me to wear the item was. Despite the fact that some of the customers are just rude and thoughtless it remains a well maintained store. Any problems I have seen were ones caused by customers. What can employee do when a customer chooses to leave a package of hamburger dripping blood in the kitchen appliances. The problem isn't the store or staff it's the customers who were apparently raised by wolves. read more

I had time to kill before check in and I decided to stop her to take advantage of some leg stretching and browsing for items I didn't necessarily need. Also to pick up anything that I was without. I thought I was being fooled when GPS told me to come here. I honestly thought I was being directed to an empty lot. If it wasn't for the sign at the edge of the road (a smaller than usual one) I had no idea I was being led here. I parked where I felt safe and headed for the front door. I honestly had no business being here, but like I said it was the perfect place to kill some time. For the most part the store looked put together and stocked. I'm not quite sure what it was about this location, but I felt uncomfortable here. Something made me feel uneasy and I couldn't wait to leave here as soon as I could. PROS: This is a very nice Walmart that I've been to. Prices are all good, store was organized, employees were nice, and loads of parking. CONS: a lot of the sections looked like they were ransacked, they weren't fully stocked with most of their things, and only a few registers were open OVERALL: sure you can come here but just be cautious. I've been going here for about 8 years and it's been a mostly rough experience. But I'm honestly shocked with how much it's improved. I came in to grab a couple of items and it felt like a different store. They're currently remodeling and have done a bang up job. The place was stocked, organized, and CLEAN. Someone has clearly took charge and made some serious improvements with management. And yeah it's still Walmart and you can't control the people who shop there but hey this a huge step in the right direction. My only complaint is no hand baskets for shopping. If they do have them I could not locate them which might be my fault. read more

The Walmart located at 2034 Lincoln Highway lancaster Pa 17602 is worthless!!!! I had an appointment for a tire change on 4 different occasions, the first appointment being 12/28/2024 and when I showed up, they said the air compressor is broken so they rescheduled the appoint. Well guess what.... It was rescheduled 3 more times and every time I went, they said it was still broken but do you think that they had the decency to call me to let me know that? No, they didn't, and I took off work 4 times and lost pay those 4 days all for nothing. Totally unacceptable!!!!!!!!! read more

Keep your eyes open for the meat that is about to expire. Associate only discount the meat that they deem has a poor appearance. The meat that look better, even if the expiration date is tomorrow will not be discounted, which should be. Now if you still want to buy the nicer one and show the manager its about to expire, in hopes she will give you the discount that will not happen either. Per the manager tonight this is something only can be done through the system. I mentioned the policy indicated otherwise, she insisted it was her way. If that the case, I guess I should consider taking my business elsewhere, until Walmart does a better job at training their managers. I attached Walmart's policy to show my point on ways this manager could have helped me, but refused. We went in and felt like we were in a 3rd world country, very messy and dirty. We were walking up to the bakery, I walk with a cane, and a female employee just about knocked me to ground and never said anything, I said excuse me and she turned around and gave me the look of death without saying a word for about 10 seconds, she then turned around and walked through the doors into the back. My wife looked at me and so rude for employee, and she looked Iranian, we left the shopping cart with what was in it and left the store. I would not recommend this store to anyone read more

This review is aimed specifically at WalmartPetRx, a part of Walmart that is not easily found on any review site. So the nearest Walmart store to me is taking the hit for a corporate problem. My vet prescribed Otomax ear ointment for my cat's ear infection. I knew I could get a better deal on pet meds anywhere besides the vet clinic, so I jumped online when I got home and started looking for it. A handful of sites offer this ointment for a big discount from the vet clinic. My choice of WalmartPetRx was totally a flip of the coin. WalmartPetRx advertises "Otomax ointment," and shows a picture of a box that it would come in. When it arrived, the box contained a bottle of liquid and not the ointment I ordered. I talked to Ian at WalmartPetRx customer service. After a couple of lengthy holds, he said shipping would be certain to send the correct product the second time, at no additional cost. Today I got a second bottle of the same (wrong) stuff. As far as I can tell, Ian spent 20 minutes playing Solitaire while I was on hold. The rep I spoke to today said there was only a "reorder" for the same product, and no correction or attempt on Ian's part to ensure the second shipment would be correct. I will never do business with WalmartPetRx again, and I strongly suggest others think twice. 800PetMeds and other sites offer stuff for the same price. For pills and oral meds, a regular pharmacy has saved me money over the vet clinic in the past. Not just a little, either -- one medication cost six times more at the vet than it did for cash at the Rite Aid around the corner from me. Make experience a teacher, save yourself some money. And save yourself a headache by staying away from WalmartPetRx. read more

I was going down the aisle and this lady (an employee) was pushing a cart with stuff to stock and rather than let me go by since the aisle was crowded... was like "excuse me! I'm working!" This review is mainly for the auto shop but can contribute to the main store as well. I called the previous day asking for a tire repair but was kindly stated that they were busy and to try first thing when they open at 7 for "first come first serve." Well I guess I'll never believe people until it actually happens. I arrived at 7:20 with two other customers in front of me. I did not get serviced until 10:20. Meanwhile there were several customers that came in after me and left before me making the "first come first serve" null void. One of the assumed managers felt bad and did give me some money off my service because of how long I was there, but this does not excuse the lack of technician attendance, their tardiness, and system of getting cars in and out of the shop. While I was waiting I just walked around the store several times. I have worked for Walmart but this store is very messy. It's as if no one is zoning their area because I saw so many products in wrong spots. I can possibly understand since customers tend to put things back in wrong spots, but there is no excuse. I saw employees talking with one another just standing around. There is something that can be done and to improve but apparently that's acceptable for this store. Overall, very disappointed, no sense of communication, no sense of urgency getting the first customers out first which lead to a terrible experience. read more

"Ghetto" Walmart as it is known for its rude employees, dirty store, and customers straight off the set of Jerry Springer. But what my daughter experienced on 12/14/16 takes things to a whole new level. In her own words: Never again will i ever come to this walmart. Maybe im over reacting but i had the RUDEST employee ever just making fun of my sons birthmark. Telling me its a devil horn, that he will get made fun of for the rest of his life, basically saying its ugly. Wouldnt stop staring at it. Ive never felt so hurt and disrespected! That rude employee's name is John. My daughter, as a new mother, was so upset that she sought out the manager to explain what she experienced; but nothing was done to remedy the situation, no apology from the employee or management. To add insult to injury the manager had very little interest or empathy for what had happened. So it's now acceptable for employees to harass and make fun of customers?!? Parking lot is crazy and does not feel safe. I would never go here alone at night. Atmosphere in the store is like a zoo. It is LOUD even for a Walmart. We Once stopped in at midnight on the way home from an event, and the place was full of preteens and teenagers, watching tv and bouncing basketballs up and down the aisles. Huh? I avoid this place. Why do you goto a Walmart? cuz it's cheap. The groceries are the cheapest around, should you goto Giant or Weiss? sure if you want to pay 30% more from people who buy from the SAME distributor. I goto this Walmart for the groceries, checkout is hit or miss, I do not want to tell my checkout tips or secrets for fear that many more people will read this and checkout faster than me!!! yes that is how bad checkout is, however I have a system to get me there a little bit faster. So checkout is horrible, just horrendous, the clerks are fine for the job they do, it's just that this Walmart could open a few more lines instead of just making everyone wait, I mean this Walmart has the ability to have almost 30 checkout lanes yet I have NEVER seen it use more than 10, even during christmas, it was still 10 lanes, so why have 30? It's, cheap, it has everything you need if you need it(today I bought groceries, and I needed to buy hangers cuz my GF bought so many more clothes) Not like there's even a Lines N things anymore around here. If however, you are a culinary person, or like fresher ingredients, shop at Weiss or Giant, if you just get frozen chicken breasts and brocolli, here is fine, I shop at the Asian food market, tho so thats why Walmart is just fine for me. read more

I've never had a problem with any of the employees here. But the staffing leaves not just something to be desired but an actual need to fill altogether. I wish management at this store and/or Walmart Corporate cared as much to serve their customers faster than the ER waiting room rather than cushioning their pockets. These are managers that care less and act dumb, don't want to open their mouth and pointed to another aisle to find someone "over there" while they close a register and then walk pass you later, knowing no one has help you yet. Finally I got a guy to help and he acted like "oh, I can't get that" but follow you to see. While following you, another customer came from behind and rudely asked question and pulled him away, to the back to grab a tv and then rang him up. All the while, I am staying there. Great prices, great inventory, but overall awful service. I've never had a problem with walmart products, and their storebrand is just as great as any name brand. However, the store does not have nearly enough people on hand at any given hour. I have waited in line upwards of twenty minutes during off-hours. Store associates are not knowledgable about the store inventory, and generally unpleasant. If you need a quick stop for some essentials, this is the place, but don't expect full service! read more

I've been to plenty of Walmart's in my short 21 years, anywhere from Tennessee, Kentucky to Pennsylvania. This has to be the worst Walmart in all of Walmart's. No one is ever where they're suppose to be, so you kindly ask an employee if you can get assistance in the fabric section, but apparently that never happens. I only ever come to this Walmart if I truly need something and for convenience. Other than that I prefer the Oxford Walmart. read more

I found out online that a certain specialty food item I was looking for was at this particular store. I took my 30 minute work break to drop in there. I knew I would need some customer service to find this particular item. I spent 10 minutes trying to find an employee. Finally one in the department attempted to speak with me, although he could only speak a few words of English, and he was more interested in ending our conversation than finding me someone else who could help. I had to call customer service from within the store and was put on hold for 10 minutes. There went my work break. I plan to never go to this store again unless it's an emergency. read more
