PROS: This is a very nice Walmart that I've been to. Prices are all good, store was organized, employees were nice, and loads of parking. CONS: a lot of the sections looked like they were ransacked, they weren't fully stocked with most of their things, and only a few registers were open OVERALL: sure you can come here but just be cautious. You might not have a strong variety to choose from and checkout make take a while

Keep your eyes open for the meat that is about to expire. Associate only discount the meat that they deem has a poor appearance. The meat that look better, even if the expiration date is tomorrow will not be discounted, which should be. Now if you still want to buy the nicer one and show the manager its about to expire, in hopes she will give you the discount that will not happen either. Per the manager tonight this is something only can be done through the system. I mentioned the policy indicated otherwise, she insisted it was her way. If that the case, I guess I should consider taking my business elsewhere, until Walmart does a better job at training their managers. I attached Walmart's policy to show my point on ways this manager could have helped me, but refused. I asked her to match the meat with the discount to the one with the same date but better appearance.

Otomax 15g tube of ointment. This is what I ordered from WalmartPetRx. They do not sell this, but will not admit it.

This review is aimed specifically at WalmartPetRx, a part of Walmart that is not easily found on any review site. So the nearest Walmart store to me is taking the hit for a corporate problem. My vet prescribed Otomax ear ointment for my cat's ear infection. I knew I could get a better deal on pet meds anywhere besides the vet clinic, so I jumped online when I got home and started looking for it. A handful of sites offer this ointment for a big discount from the vet clinic. My choice of WalmartPetRx was totally a flip of the coin. WalmartPetRx advertises "Otomax ointment," and shows a picture of a box that it would come in. When it arrived, the box contained a bottle of liquid and not the ointment I ordered. I talked to Ian at WalmartPetRx customer service. After a couple of lengthy holds, he said shipping would be certain to send the correct product the second time, at no additional cost. Today I got a second bottle of the same (wrong) stuff. As far as I can tell, Ian spent 20 minutes playing Solitaire while I was on hold. The rep I spoke to today said there was only a "reorder" for the same product, and no correction or attempt on Ian's part to ensure the second shipment would be correct. I will never do business with WalmartPetRx again, and I strongly suggest others think twice. 800PetMeds and other sites offer stuff for the same price. For pills and oral meds, a regular pharmacy has saved me money over the vet clinic in the past. Not just a little, either -- one medication cost six times more at the vet than it did for cash at the Rite Aid around the corner from me. Make experience a teacher, save yourself some money. And save yourself a headache by staying away from WalmartPetRx.

TARGETS ADULTS with SPECIAL NEEDS- Telling Them to Vacate the Seats…read moreI've bought lunch and ate in the seating area at Wegman's several times. I am a support staff for adults with intellectual disabilities or autism. Sometimes when I am supporting an adult with special needs, we would buy lunch at Wegman's and eat there. Afterwards, we would play a couple games before leaving. I didn't see the harm it. We see many groups meet there to play Mahjong or Dominoes. There are people there working on laptops. I've seen people crocheting there. They have a television for children to be able to sit and watch. Since there are always plenty of empty seats, I thought it was acceptable. And maybe THAT is, but Wegman's seems to have a REAL PROBLEM with adults with special needs. Small groups of staff helping adults with intellectual disabilities have been asked to leave while others are there doing a variety of activities other than eating. The excuse given: "We want you to leave after you eat." When the support staff who was approached questioned why they were singled out, that Wegman's staff person went to the other small group of individuals with special needs and told them to leave-- totally ignoring others around who were doing things other than eating. This is not the only time small groups of disabled individuals were asked to leave. Yet, I always see others, even large groups meeting there to play games, and I've never seen any Wegman's employee ask any of those groups leave. I've never seen a Wegman's staff ask people on laptops to leave. This definitely looks like discrimination against people with disabilities.

Very clean, good location and plenty of comfortable, outdoor seating. However the prepared foods are really lacking, especially compared to other Whole Foods. No sandwiches at all and sad pizza. However the Greek-style and salad bars are excellent and a decent value. Again, with a caveat: they use sunflower instead of olive oil. Why?? They have their own brand of excellent olive oil, why wouldn't they use that on their dolmas? Such a weird decision. It's not like you need the prepared foods to be shelf stable. Of course it tastes just like sunflower oil instead of olive oil. Sad. Otherwise the dolmas are really good, not dry or rubbery like they can be. Changing out the oil brought the flavor up from a 4 to a 7. The place is pretty small, maybe half the size of a typical grocery store. The alcohol section is tiny and picked through, The freshest breads sold out. Even saw a guy buy out their entire stock of 3 12-packs of farmhouse ale. If the place was bigger then they could have the foot traffic to offer more prepared foods and a larger stock. There's really no deli section, butcher or seafood section. They got rid of their house brand cold press juices which were excellent and priced well compared to the competition. The actual whole foods (cereals and beans) was not stocked for the most desirable stuff like black rice. Maybe 20% out of stock and the other 10% was clearly not stocked in a very long time. They did have buckwheat groats at $5.50/lb though which is fantastic. I think the Greek food and salad bar is the only redeeming quality because it's a good price and was fresh and stocked. Just be sure to poor off the oil and add your own olive oil and it tastes much better that way. If you're careful and observant you can find some good deals and rare products not stocked anywhere else.

I rang up the first transaction, before I could even put the first item in the bag, the cashier, Karen, rushed over, "Are you planning to pay for those items? You didn't ring everything up." I explained that I was making two separate transactions and that she should have waited until a theft actually occurred before accusing me of a crime/stealing. Karen, with her tail tucked between her legs walked way and mumbled a slight apology! From the start, Karen had a razor-sharp fixation on me from the moment I entered the self-checkout line. Security cameras are everywhere, so why would I steal a jar of honey when Karen was already breathing down my neck as I was ringing up my items? Words were exchanged, and she called for a manager. Meanwhile, an employee named Bozo, who was not even on the scene when Karen accused me of stealing, adamantly stated, "She didn't accuse you of stealing!" He automatically took her side without knowing what had happened. Bozo, who claimed to be a manager, had a smug, nonchalant, and accusatory disposition, making him extremely unprofessional. A manager? How? He knows nothing about conflict resolution, has no training in de-escalation, and only added fuel to the fire. As a manager, Bozo should have remained neutral until all the facts were presented. Instead, he called in more reinforcements, and they tried to gang up on me...even another customer joined in. It was an interesting dynamic! I kept laughing out of frustration because Bozo tried so hard to demonize me, even though I was the victim. . What't the point of my post? To express that Bozo and Karen are not lost prevention and need more training! I'm grateful to TikTok and other social media platforms for making me aware of scenarios such as this. I was already mentally prepared, which helped me remain calm and composed. However, still flabbergasted by the accusations. Kudos to Brian the manager, he handled things swiftly and professionally. Whether he genuinely cared or not, he at least made an attempt to lower the temperature. I guess I'm lucky? I'm 53 and have never experienced anything like this before. Majority will NEVER experience the micro aggressions, the internal biases, the stereotyping and the prejudgements, lucky you! I will play the FULL 4 minute video on all social media platforms in an attempt to educate about (again) micro aggression, internal biases and stereotyping when it comes to certain demographics.

Many years ago I was hesitant to come here. I'm a planner. I like to review ads and sort through…read moremy coupons to meal plan instead of going to the grocery store blindly. I have a budget and I like to stick to it. However a friend insisted I come here 15 years ago. Back than I wasn't impressed but did get a good deal - my husband, met him in isle 2! But sadly it was another 13 years before I ever went back. Frustrated with the ever raising costs of groceries and my hatred (yes, strong word but my feelings are strong) for my local Giant I gave them another shot and am glad I did! Since my first visit many moons ago they became more like a regular grocery store, offering more than just snacks and all the departments (meat, diary, canned, produce, etc) that you would find at your local grocer just on a smaller scale. Unlike the old days they now have bags! No more sorting trying to find a box for your loot! I admit I still don't shop here exclusively for my weekly grocery shopping. I'm still a planner and like to go in with a list and leave with every item on it. While you can't do that here you will knock off a good chunk, especially if you are not partial to a particular brand. I have seen flyers from time to time with their specials but don't think it's something they do on the regular so it is hard to plan. You never know what you'll find till you get there. Where they excel is juice (in both price and selection), cleaners (although not cheaper than Dollar General), snacks, and freezer items. I also think their prices and selection are good on cheeses and dairy products although you need to watch the dates closely. Pet food tends to run more and the selection isn't as great. And while they do have a nice, but small produce selection that looks good in the store I'm disappointed 80% of the time on its freshness when I get it home. Organic brands can also be found here, although not as plentiful as other discount grocers. Meats are also hits or miss, some weeks I find hamburger/chicken priced higher than Giant and not looking so good and other times (like this past week) I hit the jackpot with both freshness, selection, and price. I don't know if they take coupons but it's worth looking into. They do however offer a $3 coupon if you sign up for their emails. Be sure to bring a pen to the store as you add your name and phone # to the bottom of the receipt showing the money you saved and they have drawings to double it. There is a clear box for entries at the window by the exit/entrance. This is not common knowledge and something you have to find out on your own. I've never won but typically save in the $65 range on $100 worth of groceries so I'd love to win me some $130 in free groceries! Also...if you see something your family uses on the regular at a good price, stock up! It might be awhile till you find it again. And who knows, maybe if you're lucky you'll leave with a significant other...like I did!
