I frequently have had mistakes in my deliveries from Walmart including damaged products, missing items, rotten produce, etc...and have thought about canceling my W+ membership. However, they have usually been quick to fix the problems until now. Items not ordered were included in my last food order, which has not happened before. I asked for the matter to be addressed by management, but I did not hear back from anyone. Since I don't know how it happened, I will decrease the size of my future orders and disallow all substitutions. Further, I will give a flat tip at something less than the recommended amount and future errors will cause the tip to be removed from that future order. Since management decided to ignore my complaint, I will post regular reviews as to how they are doing for those interested. read more

So I'm here at the Walmart auto center getting a couple of tires installed on my brother's vehicle. A 7:00 a.m. appointment was made for this to be done. After waiting 15 to 20 minutes outside of the auto center I call and finally speak to someone on the phone. I mentioned that I had an appointment to the gentleman I spoke to. I asked him how long it would be before they'd be ready to take the vehicle to get the tires changed. He said it should take them another half hour before they could do the installation. Now my brother said his appointment for 7:00 a.m. and said I need to be here on time which I was. But despite the appointment being set for 7:00 a.m. they won't start working on this vehicle until about 7:45 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. . So my question is what's the point of having an appointment set if it's not going to be on it? read more

Horrible customer service. My surgeon sent a refill over and the store texted me they were out of the script. I waited a little over a week and NOTHING from them. I called and she said they are out until December Like why nobody notified me so I can contact my surgeon. She said oh we been busy. Girl what. read more

Ok, I used to be the first person to hate on Wally world but those days are gone thanks to their new grocery pick up. Y'ALL. This is the best thing Walmart has ever done and I can see myself shopping there all the time now. I've utilized this service several times now and I am here to tell you it is awesome! My most recent experience went like this...I was home in my pj's last night watching Netflix when I realized I was out of some necessary items. I logged into my account, added all the things, paid and picked a time to get my items (today at my lunch break) and viola. I just left the store and didn't even have to get out of my car. That's right, guys. They bring it to your car and load it for you. Easy as pie. It took a total of five minutes. Do yourself a favor and download the app and watch your Walmart experience go from the dreaded chore to the highlight of your day. You're welcome. read more

This store is a mess. Employees are the opposite of helpful, prices are mismarked on the rare occasion they are posted, stocking is poor, and only one aisle for checkout. Food and groceries are overpriced compared to other stores in Lafayette area, shelves are a jumble in the afternoon and it is really hard to find aisles in the store that correspond to the aisles on the walmart website because there is no sense to how the aisles are marked. WalMart also breaks their agreement with Medicare food and otc allotment because many items the food and otc card says are covered are not honored by walmart. Walmart won't even let seniors buy bagged salad with their benefit card, and the guy in front of me had to pay for bagged salad out of pocket, because apparently Walmart wouldn't even let him buy a salad on his benefit card or his food stamp card. He tried to ask the checkout clerk why everybody except walmart let him buy salads on his benefits cards, but she was useless. EMPLOY MORE CHECKERS! WALMART IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN ALBERTSONS, SUPER 1, ROUSES and even some convenience stores. As it goes for Walmart ,this one was quite nice. A really large store actually. They had all sorts of grocery and food products,as well as the deli. They had a huge selection of toys. Plus they has all sorts of Mardi Gras goods that you could buy for the up coming holiday. They of course really celebrate it in Louisiana. But, even so I was very impressed with the amount of merchandise they had for the celebrations. The store was clean, well organized, and we enjoyed our experience here. You can find people working here that can help you and I think you will find everything you are looking for here as well. read more

I wired 150.00$ to my mom to the walmart in lafayette, the person who helped her gave her fake money. My mom was forced to wait almost an hour until a rude walmart employee came up to tell her that "it's not wal-marts problem." And she then blamed my mom for making it up. Do not go to this walmart at all. Ignorant, uneducated people who steal money transfers work here. My mom called the home office to walmart but they are just as bad. Let's start with the positives: it is relatively clean as Wal-marts go. It is well stocked and usually bad what you are looking for, even when a recipe calls for something a little more exotic (although not too exotic). The staff is helpful if you ask, but I've never seen them go out of their way. The store is almost always packed and the checkout lines are long most hours of the day. For a Wal-mart this one is not bad. Its failings are those of almost every Wal-mart. read more

Worst experience!!! I ordered something online checked in 30 min early only to show up with 4 other people waiting and no one around to provide any type of customer service. Waited 10 minutes then went ask someone whom stated that he paged for assistance... still no one. Asked for a manager 30 min later she and some other guy showed up with NOTHING. AT THIS POINT I COULD HAVE GOTTEN IT MYSELF!!! They are not equipped for this service and I consider this false advertising!!! Customer service in Auto center sucks. Went to purchase a set of tires the lady behind the auto service center desk was very rude , she seem to not like it that I ask her to assist in getting a price on a set of tires and to see if they had them in stock. She told another customer that he had to go out to the auto bay area and they would assist him in getting tires, which he did and the guys in the auto area looked at him and said they help you with that inside. I will never use the auto center again , customer service does matter. I did report it to the auto manager and all he could say was I apologize. read more

The auto center here is an absolute joke. Went on a tuesday at 3 and i waited 4 hours to get my tire fixed. There were only 3 other customers in front of me and plenty of employees. This review is for the tire center mainly. Charging the price for synthetic oil in cars and not putting it in. Synthetic lasts 5k miles not the 3k that oil lasts. It also doesn't burn out the car like non synthetic does in a car that calls for synthetic. It was almost empty when I took my car back when my light came on and they tried to make me look bad about it like I was neglecting my car when they were cheating me. Asked them if they could check the air filter one day and I walked outside cause they said they'd show me so I could decide if I wanted to change it. Somehow they "miss placed" the old filter and I definitely needed a new one in their opinion. My friend now changes my oil after I buy actual synthetic from autozone and it lasts 5k miles before the light comes on and the car is low maybe a quart if that. Avoid changing your oil here!! The store itself often stinks inside like rotten eggs and urine. Its really going downhill after Northside closed. read more

Been waiting for twenty minutes curbside and my order still hasn't come even though I got the email yesterday that the pick up was ready. Complete waste of time. Had a great customer service experience in the auto department with Jamel. Even though He explained to me that they would not be able to perform my oil change due to a crack, he helped me pick the oil I needed for my car and even put it into my car for me without any issues, most places will tell you they can't do it and send you on your way, but he stayed and did what he could. I'm handicap and asked an associate over a week ago if I could get a mobile cart.I needed to get some shopping done and my mobility is limited.He told me to go on the other side of the store to look for one or outside.He not once tried to assist me or get someone else to assist me.I called and filed a report with the ethics department.They sent it to the store managers they did that person nothing at all.I saw that employee there when I went shopping.They discriminate against the handicap.I will start checking my weekly sales papers to avoid shopping anymore at Walmart.I don't need to shop a store that allows an employee to do that and they do nothing about it. read more

This review is specific to the Auto Service center.....I pulled up there before a long road trip with a trailer that had a roofing nail in the tire. Yes i was there 20 minutes before closing time and yes I apologize that I potentially ruined your last 30 minute game of Instagram and angry birds that you were playing on your phone. I was greeted by a reluctant guy who checked his watch for time when I pulled up and he said "we almost closed" to which I said you don't close for 20 minutes and I need help with a nail! He then turned to the other guy as if to see if someone else was willing to help because he sure as heck wasn't about to help me. The other guy said he didn't think they could do it and then I said....will you at least come look at it before you say no? He then came around and then said "we can't do it because the patch I have is too big". I'm no mechanic but I'm also not an idiot. They happily rolled another tire and rim out from the back and sold me a 130 dollar spare and rim as a solution. The manager as most crappy leaders would....without looking at my tire, supported the judgement of his low rent mechanic and said "yea there's a safety concern with putting patches on tires especially trailer tires and Walmart doesn't want the liability". I said to him "the story keeps getting better" and laughed out loud. He did offer to load the tire for me and to that I said please don't touch my truck or my trailer, I can handle this myself and I'd hate to make you or your guys work in the last 10 minutes of your day! read more

I went to the auto center to get a tire repaired, the guy looked at it, saw the obvious reason for my visit (ran over a nail in the middle of my tire), he then told me the tire had other damages meaning it could not be repaired and instead must be replaced (meaning instead of paying $10 for a simple repair I would have to pay around $70 for a whole new tire). After this exchange, I examined my tire, he was clearly lying to me so I drove off and picked up a tire repair kit and did the work myself. If you know the damages to your car do not let them tell you there are more problems and scam you out of your money. read more

I have so many negatives that I think I'll start with the only two positives. At this particular location, the majority of the employees are nice. Especially the what I call "Veteran" cashiers. My mom has shopped here since I was very little and there's a handful still working there(Bless them for hanging on for as long as they have). Those particular women are incredibly hard workers and will go at a good pace when checking customers out all while withholding a great attitude. The prices at Walmart are also better than SuperOne and Rouses, however...I would rather pay a little more then go through the hassle that is Walmart. First, at times you can't even get all of your items because they aren't even on the shelves. Even something as simple as Chicken Broth.There's a reason why the items aren't yet on the shelf...because they're wrapped up on a pallet in the middle of the aisle waiting to be placed on the shelf. It makes it nearly impossible to go down the aisle. The worst part, and many people already know this but the worst part is obviously the registers. I'm an early bird and like to get my shopping done before the rush to make it easier. I went just yesterday and they had three registers open. Three. Two for people with 20 items or less and ONE for those with buggies full of groceries. Yes, ONE. There were so many people in that one line that we ended up making an "L" shape. I was in line so long that it took me less time to shop. Do yourself a favor and shop anywhere but here. Even if you pay a little more, your nerves and stress levels are worth it. read more

NEVER go to WalMart to get anything done to your car! I went to the WalMart on Pinhook 8/22/09 to get my oil changed, well it took them forever and then they told me that the belt had broken on my car when they went to start it. They said it was not their fault so they just pushed my car out of the shop and expected me to call a tow truck and bring it to a shop because they didn't know how to fix it. Si i called my friend who knows about cars and the reason my belt slipped off didn't break was because they had spilled oil all over my Engine. So to make a long story short it was WalMart's fault my belt slipped off and I was extremely mad that they just pushed my car out and left me to deal with it after it was their fault, and i spoke with the Store Manager Archie and he was rude didn't even listen to what i had to say. So i called corporal on them. I also had groceries that were ruined from standing in the 90 degree weather from walmart's mistake. I feel like i didn't get the respect that i deserved and i'm not sure i will ever shop at walmart again. read more
