I…read morerecently had trouble getting a prescription refilled, and had to try again at a different (big-name chain) pharmacy. More trouble there, but they couldn't explain what the hold-up was. For some reason, that was a problem for me to solve, not them. Back at Thrifty Way I mentioned the matter, and Mr. Darce stopped everything he was doing and dove in, trying to figure out where the snag was. He said he would call me when it was all worked out. And by the next day he had called my doctor, obtained a new prescription, and persuaded them to fill out the necessary paperwork to satisfy the insurance company. He even apologized--repeatedly--for the confusion, even though he'd been the only one eager to take point and fix the problem. As for that other "big name" pharmacy: after being made to feel like I was at best a nuisance, what a pleasure it was to inform them their services were no longer requested. They had curtly pointed out that it would be better if I got all my prescriptions filled by the same pharmacy. On that point, at least, we are in complete agreement. Thank you, Thrifty Way, and David Darce in particular.

Went here a week ago or so, and the store layout was nice. Easy to go around and find what I was…read morelooking for. But while checking out at the self checkout area, I noticed the lady who worked there coughing in her hand and proceeded to touch around. Not only that coughed without covering. I'm not a fan of germs being spread so that's on me, but I found it very unsanitary. I did have something go wrong during my checking out process and she was pretty passive aggressive towards me as well, and it shocked me because I wasn't being hostile towards her in anyway. That made my visit there unsatisfactory. I'd consider coming back, but it's definitely not on my top stores of coming back. I'd probably go to the other Albertsons instead.

They do not have a very large selection of drug store needs, but all your essentials are here. The part that I liked most was the little gift/home décor area. They carry lots of home fragrances including Lamp Berger oils and accessories and lots of awesome smelling locally made.candles.
