While shopping in the La Junta Wal Mart on September 6th a couple of things happened. First as I was shopping apparently my checkbook fell out of my purse without me noticing it. I panicked and was told to go to the service desk to report it. I went to the service desk and an associate had already turned it in, what a relief. Then as I was checking out the checkout person was helping me load my groceries back in my cart, his name was Granite. Being an older person, it was truly a blessing to have him do this. We went to do A LOT of shopping on Friday 2-25-22. We were frustrated and stressed but all was soon relieved by our Angel of a Wal-Mart worker. Her name was Kaitlyn (sorry if spelled wrong). She opened the line for us, helped us bag the items, placed them in our cart, and helped us to the car. Wal-Mart should be proud to have Kaitlyn represent them. Wal-Mart needs more employees like her! She's a Gem!! read more

..START RANT.. This is more of a convenient stop for me. It's the only place that's open 24-7 and has a good amount of products to choose from. Luckily they also have a grocery section as well. Hallelujah! For this, I don't need to venture even further into the abyss for, what I'd call, basic ingredients. Sure, Wal-mart gets high rankings as far as cost goes (usually) but I'm not too satisfied with their ethics as far as employee benefits is concerned. Yeah, I'm one of them folk. Get a job elsewhere if they don't like it, right?? Well, sometimes people gotta do what they gotta do in the employment department and it would be NICE if a company had their laborers backs. JUST SAYIN'! Anyway, I'm here a lot but that certainly doesn't mean I love the place. You have to understand that I live in the middle of nowhere and the local Food Market and Family Dollar in Rocky Ford don't exactly make the cut from time to time. So, I need to travel a few miles of open road to get here so I can acquire a little bit of sanity. Yeah, they don't have everything I need here but they come pretty close. Good for them! The only other thing besides corporate ethics behind my 2-star rating is... well, my own personal problem. Let me explain. I was at Wal-Mart with my family in the morning, about 7:30am on a Wednesday, and my husband bounces a rubber ball in the toy department about... oh, 5 times (to be fair). A manager comes up to us all "managerial" and asks him to stop bouncing the ball. Maybe I'm just a b!tch but I thought that was nonsense. There's ZERO patrons around us and we were going to buy the darn thing. I can't test it's ability to bounce a few times for the sake of product satisfaction? Yeah, I see where I'm being a little hot tempered, but the ball wasn't ricocheting out of control off of isles of merchandise. I guess it just bugged me that someone would flex his authority @ 7:30am in the morning when we were pretty much the only people in the entire store. && yeah, I took a good look at his name tag but what good will it honestly do me if I post it?! I've experienced better service and product availability at Wal-Mart stores located in more populated areas. I'm sure that has a thing or two to do with it. Oh well! ..END RANT.. read more

Once again Wal-Mart with all their fancy computers can't seem to match pricing between shelves to register. King soopers will give you that item, because they know it should be correct.carts were pushed in the store with out being sanitized for the safety of the shopper from getting sick like the last person said in there ad on this site last week with no store care by mag! !!! We all are a voice to be heard so make yours count don't use wall Mart they do not care about you! !!!!!? Rocky Ford market may be a little more expensive, but well worth the difference. The store manager or rather owner bagged our groceries. Joyfully as though he was genuinely glad we were shopping in his store. Which is where we will be shopping. Photo department. Poorly trained employees. Poor policy training. Poor decision making. Poor customer service. I tried to have some nice photos copied at the store. I sat at the machine for a while and was finally asked if I needed help. That was fine. As soon as the employee saw my photos, because they were nice photos of my grandson, she assumed they were copywrited. I explained to her that they were not. That yes, they were taken by someone who was a friend of my daughters, but who gave them to her, she did not pay for them. This girl would like to be a photographer, but is not professional. She did use a nice camera and they were good photographs. There were no signatures or copywrite marks on either side. (BECUASE THEY WERE NOT COPYWRITED) She assumed I was a liar. These were nice photos, taken with a really good camera. I wasted my time and money driving to this Walmart to make copies of photographs. I will not be shopping at this store again. It's a shame there is not a clear policy on the correct way to identify a copywrited photograph. There was no way other than her own untrained assumption. These were not copywrited photos! I was insulted. frustrated by ignorance and intractability of a stupid, poorly trained employee. This store may have a monopoly on photo coping, but I will from now on travel as far as I have to to shop anywhere else and have my photos copied ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! This store is a waste and should be run out of town. read more

I just dropped my husband off at work have had tons to do today 02/21/2013 it 5am in the morning and I haven't had my coffee yet and sucks to be me because it seems like someone I'll be nice and just say a cashier asked me if she could help me I said yes I have this Garmin that I bought here and here is my Receipt. She asked me whats wrong with it I said nothing I just didn't like it so my husband bought me a tomtom so I just want to return it plus I have to get some food so it doesn't matter if you put the refund on a Walmart gift card. So she said the quick start manual was missing I said I don't remember having one because my husband took it out of the box plugged it into the computer to register it with Garmin and it auto popped up onto our computer screen this wasn't our first Garmin my husband is a truck driver and always buys Garmin GPS. Well she asked the electronic rep or manager if she could open a new Garmin nuvi same as the one I bought to see if the manual was in it WTF??? Ok she said without that peace of paper they will not return it I said really its a peace of paper I have everything but that one peace of paper plus anyone that's knows anything about navigation knows that they will have to register it and pay for updating maps so I asked for the manager and some lady named Jessica came up she wasn't even from electronics and said no with out that quick start manual they can't send it back I called Garmin they said that manager is full of it as long it is working and they both saw it was working it could have been returned I had the receipt and I even paid for the extended warranty for $9.00 the Garmin alone was $99.00 some people in that store really need to figure out there not all high and mighty. Now I have to wait for 7am to call the Store Manager and I will be calling corporate office this is not my first issue with this store there lucky I wasn't a secret shopper. read more
