I received an uncooked rotisserie chicken at this location on 9/21/25. I used to come to this location because it was clean and better run. Not any more. After the remodel it has run poorly. This is the second time this has happened at this location. It is a danger to public to serve raw chicken. Health laws say 165 degrees minimum. You better pray I dont get sick from your raw chicken I ate before I realized it was uncooked. read more

This is a pretty good store. The staff always friendly. One recommendation, during the fall and winter months, shop early. They do not always have the lights on in the parking lot. I have had to use a flashlight to find my car. read more

There's nothing really wrong with the Walmart. It's just the fact that the parking lot is absolutely filthy and littered with nails. I picked up like at least 25 nails in one spot multi billion dollar company just ridiculous read more

Rodney was my cashier on Sunday. He was kind, patient, helpful and had such a great demeanor. I had all my kids and they were going crazy and crying so I was stressed. He was caring and put the watermelon in a bag for me so it's easier to carry and even put it in the cart for me. He didn't make me feel bad or rushed when one of my kids took the sticker off the chicken. People started lining up behind me and he still tried his best to resolve it. read more

Where should I start.. ? How about Nobody "EVER" picks up the phone at this store. Had a delivery order submitted at 1:50 pm yesterday, and the order was set to be delivered from 6-7pm Thursday evening and now its 1:32 pm Friday afternoon and I have yet to receive/obtain any update on my order. I even called the Walmart customer service number/hotline and even they couldn't get a hold of anyone at this Hickory Creek Location. This is has been an Extremely poor experience, I was at one point considering that yearly express delivery plan for my orders, but this experience just shows me its a waste of money. You know why this happens, lack of accountability within the stores and company's leadership team. Going forward I'll stick with Instacart, and resume my BAN of shopping at Walmart. This lack of customer "First" service approach is why Walmart continues to increase it's unsatisfactory brand name amongst consumers. It's a shame because this location, is clean and even located in one of nicest areas. One thing doesn't change though, the crappy uncommunicative folks working there at WALMART! read more

This used to be a well run store but no longer. The store floors are dirty, the carts are dirty and rusty. Even the checkout stations are filthy. Its all self checkout and they have closed off all the large self checkout stations forcing everyone through the small cluster of checkout stations. The long line was very frustrating. It feels like Walmart hates their customers. I dont understand why Walmart has nice, clean well run stores in Flower Mound, Little Elm and Frisco but the store and the service in Hickory Creek is beyond terrible. Maybe they really do hate their customers in Hickory Creek. read more

Grew up going to this Walmart, it's not as nice as it once was, but I suppose that is to be expected. It is currently better than the Lewisville Walmart on Main Street and the Loop 288 Walmart. This Walmart is typically well stocked, bathrooms are clean as they can be with the amount of people they have in and out per day, staff are friendly and helpful if needed. I really like that they have self checkout, as do most Walmart's now. Since I'm so used to the HV Walmart this one is arranged differently and I'm still getting used to it is my only negative, but that will change the more I go. read more

Some store fraud manager he was wearing red yesterday and he was incredibly rude and disrespectful. The intercom had gone off saying that the store was closing at 11:01 and me and my friends we were about to leave at 11:02 and this guy came up to us. He was talking down to us being incredibly rude. I can smell his terrible breath And he had his hands in our face and blocked us after telling us that we needed to leave we needed to get out as if we weren't just grabbing the last thing and we're about to check out mind you there were more people behind us when we checked out and there's more people coming to the front register, checking out to leave, but he was very disrespectful talking down to us in a condescending way and it ruined my day honestly, I would never ever have some Vienna sausage fingers in my face ever again and after we had checked out, it was 1105 and there were still more people coming out. He was incredibly rude and it ruined my night to be honest. I understand that I have common sense we were right about to leave, but you didn't have to come and put your fingers in our face and in rude. I absolutely hate that store manager wish I had his name. read more

I've not had many issues with this Walmart but this last order I did for pick up was not great. This is the second time (at a second location) that this has happened to me, so I'm thinking I probably should start shopping elsewhere. I placed a pick up order on 4/12/23 and picked it up the morning of 4/13/23. In my order was two gallons of whole milk. One of those gallons expired 4/11/23 (two days before I picked it up) and the second gallon expired 4/16/23. We went through half the 4/11/23 expiration day gallon before realizing it was expired! Do better, Walmart. read more

A great place to run around as a kid. Great place to push grocery carts in the parking lot as a teenager. Solid place to change a tire in college. Also a easy place to go for all tackle for fishing when you don't want to pay full price. This Walmart is the bomb, and idc who says otherwise. read more

Walmart Supercenter - Storefront - Grocery Near Me - Hickory Creek, Texas

I am a delivery driver and every time I get a grocery pick up order from here I DREAD IT. I wait at LEAST 1 hour or more for a pick up order that was said to be placed 2 hours ago. Time is money for me !! Delivery is based on time and I should not expect to wait an HOUR for grocery pick up. I would repeatedly call the number listed but no one would pick up and the mailbox to leave messages is always full. I really do try to give people the benefit of the doubt but the workers here are rude and there is 0 communication or help guided, you will have to jump through hoops to get an answer you're looking for. Definitely will never accept any of these going forward. read more

Wal mart delivery has ruined it for me! I haven't shopped here in a long time and thought I'd try it again. Created online order for delivery between 6-7 and nothing came, no call from store, no email. Nothing!! I contacted online rep and was told they can't see anything so I have to call back in morning. Called local store - the entire pick up Dept went home at 8pm. But I was told I can come to the store (inside) and get my order. Which I'm being charged for delivery tip of $15! Really?!? This is the best Wal mart can do? I'll never use this service again and honestly I'm done with this Wal mart! read more

Updated stars, but left the details. Thanks to store manager Jared for handling properly! ........Yelp unfortunately will not allow you to leave zero stars, but that is exactly what this place deserves. This is not about how the shelves are always empty, and I am talking well before the coronavirus pandemic, but about the sheer lack of common sense and customer service. We went in last week to buy a computer and was told it was out of stock. We get it, a lot of stuff is out of stock now, but that is not the issue. We went to order it online and the item was marked "clearance". The website refers back to the store for availability, so we went back to buy the display model. Please keep in mind, this is a clearance item. Spoke with the manager in electronics and she said "we cannot sell the display". I advised her that the item is clearance, so no more is going to be ordered, so what is the logic behind keeping it on display. She advise "corporate advised us we cannot sell display models". I asked her "if you were not getting anymore in, what do you plan to do with the floor model"?. Her reply, was simply amazing" we plan to sell it". I stated that is exactly why I'm here to buy this computer and she said "corporate policy says we cannot sell the display". You literally cannot make this stuff up! read more

If you care about the well being of your vehicle or your safety DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT take your vehicle here. I used to trust them to help me with minimal things such as tires or buying products or parts etc. They had me place an order for a tire they promised to have for me the next day (that being today) said I would get a phone call. I had to call them myself to be told "it was here". Mind you I called at 2pm and was never told anything else I said ok thank you I'll be by after work to get it I get off at 5. A lady named Anne said "ok thank you"! It is 5:35 and I drove in to see all car slots completely closed down and doors locked with a sign outside that says they close at 7pm. This promoted me to call the main number and asked to be transferred to be answered by the same lady who deliberately told me they had to close at 4 because they did not have a liscense technician available. I then reminded her how quickly the guy suggested I come get it bc of how bad my tire is. I have to drive from Denton to flower mound daily at high speeds and I now have to worry about my personal safety and hope I don't loose my car or even my life because they have unlicensed technicians in staff? Very unprofessional and unethical. They could have shipped my tire to the Denton location had they known this would happen. read more

I shop here regularly and lately they seem to care very little about the customer service that they provide. I know it is the week of Thanksgiving, but in my experience that is when a store tries to step it up with cashiers. I've been to this store 2 evenings in a row, and on this day I've been here 2x They have had only 2 actual checkers in addition to the self check out section. The parking lot is littered with so many shopping carts. Why did they plan so poorly for the holiday? Is saving a buck on payroll worth so many unhappy customers? Please remember, there are other Wal-Mart's (and other chain stores) in the area. Mr Walton would roll in his grave with the unsatisfactory performance of this store. read more

This review is specifically for their grocery pick up service. It's amazing! The app is so easy to use. I order my groceries at night and schedule the pick up for the next day. My order is ready on time, usually a little early, and the staff is very friendly. I was worried at first about letting someone else pick out my produce, but they pick the best of what they have. If I opt to allow substitutions in case they are out of what I ordered, they always give me something of equal value or better. read more

This store used to be good. It has turned into an very unpleasant experience. Shopping at 11:00 am on a Saturday, they had two cashier's. The last six months, their shelves aren't stocked so you never know if you are going to find what you need. Two other locations we've gone to have shelves stocked and plenty of cashiers. The last two Saturdays we have asked to speak to a manager and the employee laughed and said the manager doesn't work on Saturday. I'm confident the store is going to close soon due to the drop in business because of shelves not being stocked and not enough cashier's. read more

This is a personal review. To the guy that worked on 2/25/2022 standing by the self check out at approximately 2:20 when I did the self check out and refused to let me purchase the drink. Suck a big D. He told me I couldn't buy the drink because I was with an adult with no i.d that's fine. Then this incompetent human being decided to tell me I couldn't purchase the alcoholic beverage for 24 hour after being denied. Guess what ? I went straight down to chevron to get my fix right after that without a problem. So the story goes to show how this little rat power tripping. You know the laws right? I'm drinking a fourty writing this review as we speak ans i might come back after ur shift is over and get another one. I was gonna come back and confronted that little rat face, but i couldn't get to there from chevron. Lucky you! Ur life suck and you gonna work till the day you go to heaven. Or he'll. ...so my debit card has been hacked at this Walmart. Since the first of July I continue to get attempted debits and then quickly the amount is returned to my account. Walmart On Line sez "sorry we can't help". Corinth Texas police aren't going to get after it because the attempted debits are always returned = "no loss". Here's the fun comment. I went to Walmart since (1) all attempted debits are at this Walmart and (2) no one else will help. I asked for "the manager". By the time I was done there were about 5 large women standing around telling me how there was no way they could/would help. All they had to do was pull up the attempted debits on their computer and access the cameras but "NO". ...and it "really can't be an employee" because one of the large women's aunts or cousin or ? had this happen and the attempt was in Guatemala or somewhere else therefore my illegal debits must be the same. Huh? I was left with cancelling all my debit cards and changing all auto debits, etc, etc. Hours of work and no-ZERO help from Walmart even though it appears the criminal is internal there at Walmart. I'm now a former Walmart shopper and am taking my $500-700 a month spending across the street to Albertson's. Amazon and Albertson's for me from now on unless a REAL manager wants to contact me and help find this criminal who I assume is an employee. read more

A typical Wal-Mart Supercenter, not the largest one out there, nor a small building that are found in rural towns. One would find the same items that would be expected at a WalMart store. My only gripe is the pharmacy does not have the drive-thru for quick Rx pickup/drop-off. read more

I try to avoid Wal-Mart at all cost but sometimes you have to shop there. This Wal-Mart has one of the worst associates I've ever come into contact with...ANYWHERE! He was very rude to myself and other shoppers. He worked the self checkout. I wish I could remember his name. He was the least bit helpful. There are always 1-3 registers open with actual human beings. The lines are 9 times out of 10 extremely long. I've shopped at this Wal-Mart for about 7 years and it has just gone down hill. I've been in worst Wal-Mart's as far as looks, cleanliness, etc...but this one was once pretty decent. The bathroom the last time I went in was horrible! It wasn't clean. There's was poop on the seat in one stall and pee and toilet paper on the floor in another. Advice, if you must shop here, avoid the front restroom, avoid the associates as much as possible. read more

Unprofessional!!!! This walmart has become the worst. I have been shopping here for the last 3 years. Since they have put in MORE than enough self check outs.
