This place had the worst customer service. If you have people working in self checkout that cannot operate the cash register to give back change when it was out. We were told to go to customer service, which had a line out past where Moses was given the 10 commandments. Needless to say if the lines are that long, you have a problem store. read more

This place should be reported to for elder abuse my mother well over 70 years young came to pick up her medication and two of the most rachet girls behind the pharmacy counter proceeded to embarrass her with accusations of fraud with her medication. She reported them of course but this location needs to serious hire individuals that provide customer service and respect. read more

I can't tell you how many times I've been there and the supplies are just not available or the selection is horrible. You guys need to step it up or peps will go elsewhere. And the staff is little to be desired. You can't get any help there and the new set up is so bad with all the self checkouts that half aren't even open. Horrible store, untrained unprofessional manager and unacceptable service. Purchased a box of eggs, advertised on the shelf as $2.80. scanned, $3.18. Costumer service handling the issue is: "whatever the scanned price is that's what you pay. We do not honor anymore the difference in the price." I called the manager: she repeates the same: "we are not paying out any difference between the shelf price and what you scanned anymore." I suggested her that with this new rule that is not show up anywhere on the walls at costumer service they should take off all of the shelf prices, since the scanned price is the one, they charge people. So, no need for printed prices. The manager puts down the phone on me. They charge whatever they want, printed prices on the shelf are just for show, not real, manager is unprofessional and puts down the phone on costumers. I will stay away from this place. read more

This is the type of Walmart where you see the "People of Walmart" pictures on the internet. We were visiting and one stop shop options seemed to be somewhat limited in Hattiesburg so we came to Walmart. Cashier was indifferent. Didn't give me a total, didn't say thank you. This is one of the friendliest Walmart's I've been to. The Chenal Walmart in Little Rock should take some lessons from them. All of the workers are very warm and helpful. Customer service is excellent. My only complaint is that they are always out of stuff that I need. read more

This Walmart is quite possibly the worst in existence. I have begrudgingly shopped here for a year and a half while living in Hattiesburg; I have never enjoyed it, but it was the closest Walmart to where we live. It is always dirty, disorganized, and the employees are usually very unhelpful, if not downright rude. The last time I visited here was to pick up boxes for a move. I called the night manager after 8pm, and he said he would set some boxes aside for us, though he was leaving at 6am, and "hopefully" they would be there. When I drove across town the next morning to pick them up, the store was in its usual disarray, with carts everywhere with un stocked merchandise, and an incredibly long customer service line. I walked to the back to attempt to find either my boxes or a manager who may know something about them. On the way I passed a manager, explained that I had called about picking up boxes, and asked if she knew where I could find them. She very rudely asserted she "didn't know nothin' 'bout no boxes," and tried to walk away. I followed and asked if she could call someone who might know more. She pages several people on her headset, and they also knew nothing. Finally she got on a store phone and called the people in the back who do the shipping and receiving, and they said no boxes were ever left out the night before. While this was happening, another nearby employee was inserting herself into the conversation, saying, "if you want those boxes they are probably in the box compacter," while laughing. All in all, if you can avoid it in any way, shape, or form, please save yourself the frustration and DO NOT go to this Walmart. read more

What can you say about good old Walmart? This one was quite busy (Imagine that,huh?) This Walmart was dirty. The bathroom was definitely lacking. Their merchandise...Uumm...What merchandise. Need I say more? My husband and I went in for just a few things and came out with just a few things. However, the cashier was very Pleasant. Thankfully I don't live in Hattiesburg. By the way this is on Hardy Street. Maybe that's why it sucks in general. If I need a Walmart I will probably be looking for a different one. read more
