In fact, I am just has comfortable and confident seeing either of them. Maybe that's because I know that he's needed, Dr. Johnson is there for them and I know, without a doubt, they are absolutely capable . This is the kind of clinic where if you're sick, they'll see you today. Here, when "the doc" comes in the examination room, there is no time limit. They stay as long as it takes. They deserve more but Yelp only gives 5 stars.

The process to update my registration information did not take very long and my wait time for the doctor was brief. The treatment rooms and office are bright with updated decor and very clean. I am typically cold natured and the staff was quick to bring me a warm fleece blanket to make me comfortable for the procedure. The dental assistants, Kayla and Susan were both friendly and knowledgeable. My past experience with dental crown placement required more than one visit and a wait time of a few weeks between appointments. I chose Southern Smiles because they have the equipment to create a crown IN OFFICE on the date of your procedure!! The process from start of the exam to placement of crown is about 4 hours. After an exam, Dr.Hughes prepped my damaged tooth for the new crown and then started creating my new tooth. I was able to observe the design of the crown as Dr. Hughes used a scanning wand to measure my teeth and mouth. An image was created on a computer screen right in front of my eyes. The computer generated image was then sent to the cutting machine, which has a viewing window! I was able to watch the machine use water jets to turn a piece of porcelain into my new tooth! The overall experience was very good.The convenience of having one appointment for a crown procedure was my deciding factor for choosing Dr. Hughes. But, I will return for other dental care in the future. I would highly recommend Southern Smiles for General Dentistry, Hygiene Care and Dental procedures. Share review

She's so down to earth, caring, wants to make sure you are okay and will even provide a blanket if you're cold. On top of that I explained that my insurance only covers a max amount per year and wasn't in a place to cover any extra expenses so they made sure to work within my insurance to take care all the necessary procedures needed so I wouldn't be stuck with a huge bill. Love that I'm a person to them not a dollar sign.
