The Horsham location has some of the same brands this store carries but they're always out of stock. They're getting one star improvement for their variety of apparel. However the entire apparel team was standing and doing absolutely nothing but talking while the floor definitely needed help. Not good to see that many employees standing - meanwhile one of the presumed managers kept yelling at someone stocking candy at the checkout lanes. Oh and the guest service went really quickly. 3 managers didnt understand whatt "discrimination" means. They told me not allowing "associates" on the floor who tell customer "I dont speak English" was "discrimination. No its ensuring customers cant get assist they need. "Discriminatiion" would be not allowing someone to work the floor becayuse they have a limp or other impairment that does not impair their ability to do the job but they are told you can;t be on floor because you limp. etc. You dont hire a lifeguard who can;t swim because that would be discrimination. The Amazing eye doctors that work there are the only reason they have customers come back because no one would show up to Walmart for overpriced contacts and glasses in tandem with the 30-60 minute wait time otherwise. Came to Walmart to buy pants and 9 PM and mind you no one buys pants at 9 PM unless they really need it! So here I am trying to use a fitting room the person that had the keys went home early apparently and the resident associates were not trying to get the keys so here I am 930 waiting for keys to come by and I asked who the supervisor was I met by a Siba who was able to help me out it is currently 1003 and I still haven't gotten into room. Probably the worst customer service I've ever had in my life zero customer service here asked to get a room key. No one to get up and do it and now I'm here sitting an hour later, still waiting for the keys to come here and I have no one here at the room, but we were right back to work. I'll be waiting here till closing and when they close it on me, I think they'll remember that the key there to get the keys for the living room. So here I am leaving 1015pm and still no pants for tomorrow. They have the worst follow and communication ever. read more

While I can see the bad reviews of this Walmart location being justified, I personally never really had a problem with it. I admittedly am not a fan of the parking lot (which I understand isn't in Walmarts control and is reflected well in my review of the Hilltown Crossings review) it doesn't make it any more fun. I never really interact with the staff much, as I always know what I need and go through the self check out, but when I am with others going major shopping and use the cashier lanes I never have a problem. I do appreciate that it is a Super Walmart and it has a full grocery section, in addition to anything you need from a regular Walmart and many other shops like a Subway up front. I enjoy the entertainment section as I can find many movies, games and CDs at a great price. The pricing for the rest of the store is fair as well. Some of the items have seen better days, and I would reccomend to check dates just to be safe. Overall it's a very average Walmart, and for this location you either love it or you hate it so I would check it out and see for yourself! read more

2/26/2021 I will change my rating if my issue gets resolved. I visited this location for an article but it wasn't in stock. A day or so later I ordered it online to be shipped to the store for pick-up. I received a confirmation of the sale and an email stating not to show up until my order is ready. I received an email when my order was ready. I went to the pick up location and the employee gave me the purchase in a tied up bag. When I got home I opened the bag and the item was the wrong color. This is where Wal-Mart gets a F. I tried calling the store and no one picks up. I got ahold of someone through Walmart.com and they reached the store and I was eventually disconnected (27 mins later). I contacted Wal-Mart.com again and was given a phone number to call the store. It was an 800 #. After 23 minutes I was connected and the pick-up manager got on the phone then promptly disconnected. As I was calling Wal-Mart.com a 3rd time, Wal-Mart was calling my home phone. The employee (that handed me the bag) apologized that I was disconnected from her manager but, "he had to go". She did get another manager. At this point I was already on the phone 90 minutes trying to resolve my issue. During my conversation with the employee she indicated that they substituted for the color they gave me. She said it wasn't so much they didn't have my color but they didn't have my size. THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY ITEM PERIOD. At no point was I informed that they didn't have what I ordered or that they were substituting it. I heard a lot of what they CAN'T do to help me get what I ordered vs what they were going to do. Now I will be talking to the store manager tomorrow morning to get this resolved. 2/27/2021 After several unanswered phone calls I decided to hit the extension for the pharmacy since the regular extension or electronics didn't pick up. I called the pharmacy 4x and disconnected each time. 34 mins total on hold. Finally Gary, a lead picked up and tried to locate the item in the store I initially ordered. He called back and couldn't find it so he recommended ordering it online and offered me a $20 gift card. read more

I used to like this Walmart until recently when I started running into minor issues. Problem number one, if you literally just get a truck in and your already sold out of something such as pineapples... do yourself a favor and purchase more pineapples the next order. I work For a living and I'm going to assume you two don't die to the fact it took you 20 mins to put up 10 items in one pile for the cashier to to scan so you can pay slowly and move on to the next pile of trash you look like you didn't need. THE MANAGER MUST BE FIRED. We walked in to purchase prime and then were looking at the clothes and the manager approached us and told us we had to leave for absolutely no reason. I was being polite and asking why we were being kicked out and she ignored me and fake called the police. I told her she could check the cameras to see we did nothing but she ignored me again. While the prices in this Walmart are good there isn't anything positive I can say about it. Two people were brazenly walking around without masks. In fact, two employees were helping them and having a lengthy conversation with them at the sporting goods counter. Neither employer asked them to put on a mask or leave! Very upsetting. We had one on and are protecting the arrogant couple yet they don't care about anyone but themselves. On the morning of July 28th 2019, I attempted to purchase Formula from the Hatfield location. After working 14 hours, overnight, I ran into the store for what I expected to be a quick trip. Upon discovering that the formula was behind a locked glass case, I was able to flag down a store associate who said he would be able to assist. He walked to another location and after 5 minutes, returned and stated someone would "be with me shortly". After about 10 more minutes, and no one arriving, I flagged down another associate and I was told the person in the fitting room area "had the key" and that they should be with me soon. He also apologized for the wait. After about 5 more minutes, I walked to the fitting room location and asked for assistance. The associate paged someone named "Hannah" to come and assist me and said she would meet me near the infant formula. I returned to my original location. After about 7 more minutes, an associate came to retrieve the formula and asked me if I was done shopping. I informed her that the Formula was the only item I came for. She then escorted me to a line occupied by a cashier, all of which had at least two customers with carts filled with items. She placed the formula next to the cashier and apologized again for my wait, as I was expected to wait in line behind heavy shoppers for one item. Why was I unable to use the self checkout? At the end of this experience I felt so humiliated by the notion that all of this was in an attempt at anti-theft and I had been so greatly inconvenienced, I left the store without even purchasing my item. Customers should not be made to feel like thieves. I ended up purchasing my formula from Giant Supermarket, where I was able to walk in and purchase my desired item immediately. I will likely never purchase infant formula from any of your stores after this experience. It was very inconvenient and humiliating. There has to he a better system in place. Maybe even an electronic alert system when a customer needs assistance with infant formula. I was very disappointed by this experience. Update: I sent this letter to their corporate office and immediately got a response that stated "You should hear from the Hatfield store in 72 hours". They NEVER got back to me. My reorder took another two weeks to arrive at staging and it was again lost... I had to go to the store to coerce the pickup employees to look on the truck parked out back, where they found my item. I have been shopping at this Wal-Mart for the last 7 years. It is a great place to pick up toys/games, automotive, and other everyday things. My wife and I get our hairspray/gel/shampoo here because you get the name brand for cheaper than anywhere else. I have also purchased a TV here and got a great deal. As far as the customer service, it is so so. I have found the bigger the store, the less control the employees have over the merchandise. I know it's dumb to review a Walmart, and even dumber to visit a Walmart. But, I was in the area for the weekend helping my dad, and he sent me here for a few things. Pulling up, I thought the Walmart had closed and moved. I honesly thought I was in the wrong place and was totally confused. The outside looks like it's being torn down, and there was no signage at all. As I walked up, I saw a small Walmart sign by the door. What is up with this, Walmart? Inside, I didn't get any farther than the frozen food section, which is right when you walk in, so that was convenient. I was looking for a very specific frozen pizza, which they didn't have. Sigh...I used my dad's debit card, and the cashier didn't question it. Is that good or bad? To be fair, this place is more bearable than my local South Philly Walmart (a.k.a. hell on earth.) I am very busy and this Walmart allows me to get in, get my stuff, and get out! I am always able to find someone to help me find what I want (even during construction) and they are all very pleasant!! They do not move everything around like many supermarkets I go to, so I do not have to search forever to find anything. AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE ITEM I WANT! I live close to the Walmart in Harleysville, but I drive to Hatfield to get what I want fast.
