Hi Everyone, DON'T use Walmart.com for delivery of any items at all! I have had four orders out of six from Walmart.com incorrectly or not deliver at all! However, this evening takes the cake. I put my order in at 11:50 AM, delivery due between 5-7 PM. Kevin is my shopper but does not deliver our items but instead cancels the delivery & returns my (4) deli meats, (10) bags of black mulch, and (8) bags of top soil. I was sent a delivery notice that Kevin was 75% less than I ordered. So I ordered at 11:50 AM & at 6:50 PM w/NO other notice you now will only receive 4 bags of mulch & 3 bags of top soil because of limited quantities. That statement of limited quantities is a LIE! I went to our gate to see how I could help Kevin deliver our items but no Kevin! I then proceeded to the Walmart SuperCenter in Hardeeville, SC. Lea in Customer pickup told me Kevin returned my items & cancelled my order. I asked how she knew & she showed me ordered items in a Walmart cart with the quantities Kevin's restricted my order too. I asked for my Deli meats & Lea told me my order was cancelled, & she couldn't give me my items. I showed her my items were not cancelled on my Walmart APP, & my order was still open on my iPhone in my Walmart + account. She stated that this is Walmart.com who used Smart Shopper (3rd party shopping & delivery service) Walmart started about two weeks ago. She explained their shoppers come in pick up your items, & delivery them to you. We have nothing to do with that. Walmart has nothing to with a Walmart order, Ok...then! I asked how I could receive my items? Lea & now DeRon told me I could shop & pick up the items as they have plenty in stock. But the Deli is closed now, so again I asked for my deli meats on my open order. Lea told me once my order is cancelled & returned I cannot have those items because they were in a hot car. I touched the deli meats & they were all cold to the touch which I reiterated and Lea "No can do! Walmart policy." However, now both Lea & DeRon told me to go to customer service to cancel my order. I did as they asked. When I got to customer service, I was informed it was closed. I explained what happened & I was told I have to go to the Pick up DEPT because they handle that there. I explained they sent me here. She said "Ok, well you need to talk with Denetta." They paged Denetta & she told all the same information again. I started to lose my blood pressure & I sat down on a shelf of a bag rack. I explained I am a Permanent & Totally Disabled Veteran & my blood pressure was dropping. Then something fantastic happened! Deron got me a battery powered shopping cart so I could sit in it. Lea went to an open register & rang up (10) bags of black mulch & 10 bags of top soil. Deron told me to pull my truck up & he loaded half of my order because that is all that we could fit. I told him I would go & drop this off at my home, drive back & get the other half. And when I returned, he helped me again. God bless Deron & Lea because when they realised that was in trouble they stepped up, & helped me. They are both fine examples of American youth & they both deserve a raise. I tried to tip Deron but he refused. So I put my tip in his hand and said "I could not have done this without your help, please take it." He smiled and accepted it. When I got home, the 2nd time, I unloaded the rest of my bags of mulch & top soil with my 69 year old wife helping me because after unloading the first set of bags myself, I felt a heart attack coming on, so I had to keep stopping. You see, I am in my seventies. When I got home. I called Walmart.com because my never delivered, & returned order was still not cancelled but open. I was put on hold for an hour & 17 minutes & was sent a notice, when on hold that Walmart's 3rd party tried to delivery again at 8:10 PM. Again, no notice, no call, not even the first name of the delivery person (safe & secure, ah..., NO!) This is also a LIE. I tried over & over again in the Walmart APP to cancel my order but received a notification they were having technical difficulties, try again later. I did, twenty different times. Finally at 10:04 PM EST, I received my cancellation confirmation after working through a Walmart Rep & Supervisor in a call center in India. And now, my money was finally refunded for my order on Walmart.com in 7 to 10 business days, don't cha know! I am a Walmart + member & also have a Walmart One Pay credit card. None of that matters at all to Walmart who posted a notice on my APP that stated, I needed to cancel my undelivered order by 11:59 PM or Walmart would try to deliver it tomorrow! Again, this is fourth order I have had trouble with from Walmart. And as a Plus member paying about $150.00 for the privilege of being mistreated, unserviced, lied to, and completely disregarded. Hours. Walked in like store was open, walked passed registers and into clothing. We came for a pillow as we are staying in camper and left ours after just getting in town. It was 11:02. Lady told us they were closed, mind you we walked n and I was saying how cute certain clothes were as we were walking to pillows. Anyway, when she said "we are closed, we Asked if I could just run grab a pillow while my husband stood in the l9 person line that was there. She said "no we are closed". I get rules but it's not like I wanted to shop for anything. It's 11:02, we were able to go in past the food section and into other areas before being turned away. I just need a pillow for my kid who forgot his in vacay. Don't go here. Rude as hell and not a good vibe when police are monitoring out front. read more

I have called Walmart Hardeeville on May 5-6 for several hours trying several departments no one answering any of the phones. I have been waiting on a call from the fresh bakery which has not come about whether or not they will be available to do a cake for me on Monday., May 11. What is going on at the Hardeeville Walmart that they won't pick up the phone lines. read more

11-17-23 11:30AM As most people that know me know I love a bargain therefore Walmart is a staple for me and my shopping needs. This trip no different as this will be the closest Walmart to my new home. Since it is a large store it carries everything. This trip we needed beer, wine which they had a great selection I chose a Kim Crawford Rose from France, also got a cup for $.50 to drink it later,measuring tape, ice for our cooler, and of course a pack of mentos found near the check out. We chose a short line that was card only. Fine by me we got in and out quickly no problem. read more

Took 25 minutes to get 1 item from behind the glass in cosmetics. Workers are rude. Selections are bad. We are going to ban this place until they get their act together. This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to. The kiosks near the pharmacy have been down for over a month!! All down between Thanksgiving and Christmas!! The other side of the store that have most of the checkout kiosks have a line unacceptable for checkouts. They also only had two counter registers operating. Trying to buy tires here is an exercise in futility. Yes, they are cheaper than other stores, I suppose, but first you have to find someone to sell them to you. No one answers the phone in the auto department, they take 4-hour "lunch breaks", and generally don't seem to want to bother. I ended up going to Firestone, a mile down the road, where they answered the phone on the third ring and got me an appointment in a couple of days. Yes, I spent a couple of hundred dollars more, but **I got tires**. Don't bother wasting your time. Walmart doesn't want your money. read more

Wanted to pop in to grab a few snacks and a face mask. I didn't stay in the store long but my initial impression was a positive one! The store was clean and organized. It seems like it is at the very end of a renovation. I walked down the main aisle between the registers and women's clothing. The clothes were neatly organized and stacked. I made a bee line straight to the health and beauty section. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for but I was pleased with how organized and fully stocked the makeup and beauty section was. I despise unkept, disorganized, and half stocked shelves. It's a total pet peeve. It was around 9:30 pm and the store wasn't busy. Only a few registers were open but we opted for self-checkout. A sales associate directed us to the cash only register which made checking out faster. read more

Shelves are always picked over and pick up/delivery shoppers blocking the aisle. Also very few check-out counters open. Deli hours are hit & miss. Quite obvious staffing is a problem at this store. read more

Very busy store!!! Because of that it's not the most organized (even by Walmart standards). I would imagine recovering the shelves after the droves of people messing everything up would be difficult. Today I ran in just to buy a shirt. It was a really smooth in and out for me. I used the self check-out, which helped me get out faster. All in all not a bad store, just too many people! read more

I remember when going to a Walmart late at night was fun. You could find great buys and people were nice. This Walmart has changed my enjoyment of Walmart at night to the hearty dislike of Walmart in general. Thanks to this location I only go when we absolutely have no other choice. Yesterday, Thursday May 20, 2021 was this day and they did not change my thoughts on this. We only needed a few items so it was a fast in/out as desired. But you would think that the cashier is taking my money, she would at least acknowledge that I am standing in front of her, read the total that the register has shown and say "thank you". But this is asking to much I guess? My daughter was next in line and had the same none response to her purchase. The cashier had working vocal chords because she spoke to another employee, so we know that wasnt an issue. More and more of the self check out registers are being installed I have always hated these because I felt I was taking jobs away from humans,but with cashiers like this, I could treat myself nicer as my own cashier. I will say as long as I can purchase my items elsewhere, I will continue to do so. And only go to Walmart as a last choice option. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. It is EXTREMELY unsafe. I recently moved to Bluffton, and heard from several neighbors to avoid this Walmart all hours of the day due to human trafficking, stalking, and car break-ins. Despite the advice, I decided to go one day, and I immediately noticed the eyes of many staring at me. There are an unusual amount of "construction workers" shopping here, as you could tell by their hardhats and reflective vests (they all looked to be in costume, NOT real construction workers). Aside from the obvious dangers of shopping here, there was not a single line open, and only one self-checkout sides open. This is the worst walmart I have ever dealt with. Called automotive to see if they were open before making the drive to get an oil change. Said yes they were very much open. I drive over in the rain, all doors are shut up and locked, but I can see someone inside through the window and hear music blasting. I try to knock to at least ask why they were closed. No response. tried to call their phone. No response (even though I see the person inside). I finally call their main line telling them i had just called and was told their automotive center was open, but now I'm standing in the rain and it is not. "Well is it open tomorrow?" OMG.So this happened.. Wife and I go to Wal-Mart in Hardeeville to get a few things we forgot on our trip. While looking for what we needed in Automotive a sales associate actually came up and asked if he could help us find what we were looking for. I was so blown away that a Wal-Mart employee took the initiative to help us I almost forgot what I was there for. I squeaked out that I was looking for a grease gun. The employee said he did not know exactly where they were but would *Gasp* find out for me.... Whaaaa. Talk about mind blown. Then when we got to checkout the person there actually smiled like they were happy to see us. I have now had my faith restored in humanity. Thank you. read more

Do not go here if you need help with anything. Employees are rude. Tried to ask for a simple key to buy headphones and one employee simply did not even acknowledge me just kept walking away from me slowly. Finally, one employee tried to help and said she would get somebody for me, I waited 30 minutes and left with no headphones. read more

I work close by here so I end up coming here a lot. It's a really busy store. It doesn't matter when you come... early... late.. it's all the same. I usually get pretty frustrated with fighting the crowds. Other than that the store isn't too bad. Relatively clean and nice employees. read more

The "return" department closes at 4pm?!? If you work for a living and have normal hours there is no way to return anything at this Walmart. Nobody cares, the store is a disaster, the parking lot is like diving land mines and the store is filthy. I will have to take an hour of PTO just to return a $55 item. Target customer service is always open. Lesson learned for me. No wonder Walmart is such a laughing stock. read more

Worst Wal-Mart ever. I had lost my contacts on vacation in Hilton Head so we came here for the eye center... I couldn't really see anything clearly due to my -4.75 vision, but I could already tell that it was very, very dirty. Yuck. And definitely don't go to their eye center. Store was understocked, boxes of stock left on shelf instead of properly stocked. 1 cashier open at 7:45 in the morning, long line!! Cart returns are way out in the parking lot which means carts are left in a lot of parking spaces....needs revamping! read more

Had a tire blow out on the way back to Florida. Got to the Walmart tire service at 4:30 but they were all booked up until close. Since we were from out of town and it was an emergency they worked us in so we could make our way home. Much appreciated. read more

Mr Dwayne is amazing with customer service and also genuinely cares about the customers needs. I bought tires in his center January 2018 with a 45K mile warranty, took it to Rincon Walmart for balance and rotation,.. Rincon failed to balance anything had to take it to Mr Dwayne's center to have it fixed,.... a couple weeks later due to a puncture I took it to the pooler location where I was treated rudely and told they would not do a tire repair because the tires were too worn ( road work). Went straight to Hardeeville where they repaired my tire and gave a quote good for 1 month on the new tires on sale. I didn't get to use the quote in time but did purchase new tires this last week and they got them on and me out the door just in time to get to the car's alignment appointment! I will never visit another Walmart tire center in the Savannah Area but this one! read more

I have been telling myself to write a review of this Walmart for three years, since I moved to the area. I have shopped in MANY Walmarts all over the country and I can say with some authority that this store is the worst I have experienced. The management must be nonexistent. Workers don't work, they spend more time and energy pretending to work than actually doing anything. The other day there were four women gathered around a table of flip-flops, gossiping and "reorganizing" the footwear. If you ask a question, they look you up and down and sneer before answering, if they even answer. They usually don't know the answer, which is just a way of saying they are not going too answer. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. They were stocking shelves, like EVERY shelf in the store, at 11:00 am in the middle of a hurricane warning. Really? Didn't I read recently that Walmart cut back their hours so they could CLEAN and STOCK the store before they opened for customers? Hmmm, seems to not be true. Aisles have been made narrower and of course you are supposed to only go down then one way. Today, five women in one aisle were stocking bread and refused to move so I could advance. The rudeness aside, does it take five women to put bread on the shelf? It seems so in this Walmart. Then, when it is time to check out, very few lines are open and the self checkout has people 10-15 deep waiting, blocking the main aisle because there is nowhere to stand. And, out of 5 check out stations, only three seem to work, one is cash, which no one uses, so really there are two that are functional. The clerk manning the area is talking with another employee and ignoring the whole mess. The store is disorganized, dirty, with bare shelves everywhere. Today I made myself a promise that I will not shop there anymore, and hey Walmart, I used to spend a lot of money in your store. Publix across the way may be more expensive, but the workers are polite, the store is clean, and the shopping experience pleasant. With the opening of Ace Hardware nearby, there is no need to even go to Walmart anymore. I am sure more and more people in the area will do as I am doing, boycotting a subpar establishment. We retired folks have the money and time to go elsewhere, and we will! read more

Tried to call to see if they had a certain printer toner in stock. Whoever answered the phone sent me to an extension that just rang. Receptionist picked up again sent me to electronics. The person at the end of this line kept me on hold for 5 minutes, and all I told her was I needed a certain toner, didn't even get to tell her what kind before she put me on hold. I called back to ask for a manager and was on hold for four minutes before I hung up in disgust. We should expect more from the nation's largest retailer. read more

Worst Walmart I have ever been in. Nothing in stock or where it is supposed to be and staff walks away when you ask for help finding something. Aisles are so narrow its hard to navigate when two carts are side by side. Sunday afternoon is typically the busiest day at any Walmart - no exception with this one. You would think they would have more than 4 regular registers open. All my frozen food thawed while waiting in line today. I'm over it. Will be driving to Pooler or HHI from now on. read more

Ups and downs of this place are a plenty, it seems to depend when you visit. I try to take the surveys on the receipts to win the gift cards but it also taught me what the big wigs at Walmart want and expect from their stores. Aisles are sometimes crowded and unnavigable with a buggy, other times they are clear even though there are employees working in them. Some people are nice and friendly, some rudely stare without so much as a smile. Like I said, there are ups and downs but the two biggest positive things about this location are the low prices and the location. read more

The service quality is actually very good. The newer walmart pharmacy in bluffton is a total discrace to the walmart chain, but the service quality at this particular location at least lets you know not all walmarts are nessisarily the same when it comes to employee politeness. They are always courteous and gladly answer any questions if you have any. They promptly fill your prescriptions and there is usually little to no line. Thank goodness for properly trained employees like the ones at this store's pharmacy, because if it was not for the good stores like this one, terribly ran mockerys of a pharmacy like the new one in bluffton would win out in the long run. If I could rate this location no stars I would, when you can find an employee (which is not often) they are rude. The are often no checkout open other then self check out, then you must wait for an employee to wonder over to approve whatever is wrong with the machine at this point. With the Walmart pay app I was told by an employee "I don't know nothing about that!" and when I went to a manger to check that I was not charged twice as it appeared I was, she told me not to be snippy. As someone who has worked in retail for 15 years, I can tell you that the worst thing you can tell a customer is either to calm down or not be snippy. Even if I was wrong she should have showed more respect, and used better customer service skills. I have never walked into this Walmart and had a decent experience, from now on I will be shopping at the Publix across the road or the Food Lion. read more

1st. Off I love Wal-Mart!!!! It like a 2nd home to me.. But I gone to the Wal-mart on Hardeeville,SC and was very disappoint, when I gone deli dept. I seen the the new mac-cheese mix old mac-cheese, I ask the very young lady how long would it take for a hold pan of mac-cheese to finish? She had told me about 1 to 3 hours give or take. So I ask her : Do she think it was a good ideas on her mix the old with the new? Then later she told me, that it was faster to re-use a old pan and just mix it with new bag of mac-cheese, or more like she don't not want to clean any more pans. So one pan can be re-use over 4 to 6 time.. so she continue mix the in the new in to old ( by the way: The Mac-cheese per-cook in a large plastic bag that was re-heat microwave) MMMMM sound/look Not so good, My point was, if one do it most likely all do it.. The prices of food gone up and the quality has gone down, Sad! I will never eat anything from there again until things change there policy! read more
