Worst customer service on the planet!!! A couple of weeks ago I had to return an item, and the girl behind the "customer service " desk decided to continue talking with her fellow employee instead of waiting on me. She finally looked at me and said "what's up!" Really?? That's how you treat your customers?? Today I was going through a checkout line, and the gal behind the counter said absolutely nothing to me. No hello, no this is your total, nothing! ‍ so I continued to stand there until I finally asked....oh, are you done? She finally spoke, to say yes. Bought a can of Pringles potatoe chips and don't know how old the can was, but the chips were stale and had no taste. I notice walmart only carries Great Value product and they taste bad, they carry no brand names of the same food. Produce only last a week if your lucky. This is a review for the Walmart delivery service. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures as I live a bit of a ways away from this location, but I just felt compelled to do a review for the Walmart app as well as the Walmart + Delivery service. As a die hard Instacart user, I feel like I am cheating on them lol but using the Walmart+ app has been very convenient while living in Greenfield, Indiana for the past month or so. I am very impressed with the customer service as well as how easy to use their home delivery service is. They have the option to pickup the order or deliver it, but bare in mind there is a fee associated with that ($10 for Express/$5 for delivery in 3 hours or less). It is also customary or expected for you to tip the Walmart Spark Driver that delivers your order. What I really wanted to give a shout out for was their wide selection of pet items and dog toys. I was a devoted BarkBox fan and still am even though I "pawsed" my subscription (i thought it would be a funny play on words) but it's about $25 a month which isn't a bad deal for a dog toy subscription service but given that I need to be frugal right now I had to pause it BUT I decided to on a whil try one of their sog toys because my dog has been such a trooper with me moving and she gives me such emptional support that I wanted to show her some appreciation. I first bought her a Nylabone toy and she took to it really well. I then browsed their other options and what I think is pretty neat was they have toys that have a durability and chew aggression level to them. Like I was able to get a Level 4 tough dog toy that is legit in the shape of a beagle dog and she loved it. I then tried a bunny thereafter for which the driver bought two of by mistake when I only requested one and Walmart was kind enough to let me keep it. I wanted to also give remarks on the quality of the food selection. I encourage you to read the reviews of the items on their app but they seem pretty accurate. I also wish to commend the timeliness of the order shopping as well. There id always someone I can count on to pick up my order come rain or come shine and they greet me warmly and with a smile. You can track where the driver is on the app as well and Walmart is really good about keeping you informed as to thwir whereabouts. I think it is worth spending the $5 extra for expedited delivery and please remember to tip drivers accordingly as they work hard going to and from places and they probably get stiffed sometimes but overall I am grateful for their service. They do an excellent job. Also I recommend you check out their bakedy breads and kitchenware/home appliances. I got thee best can opener from The Pioneer Woman brand and I am so happy with it and their water selection is pretty wide ranging as well. Happy Walmarting:) I wish I had pictures to go along with my review but if anything I have pics of my dog with her dog toys‍ so I guess that can confirm and attest to me being an avid Walmart shopper but if you haven't tried out their app or delivery service I encourage you to do so. It is prompt, efficient, and very user/customer friendly. As far as Walmarts go, this is one of my favorites. It is cleaner than most, and is located near where I work. The people working inside are relatively friendly and are very helpful when you need it. The cleanliness of the store is pretty good and it is always well stocked. the people shopping here are also friendly. It's a big store with lots to offer, including food and a subway and other services. read more

I had a rear driver's side tire blow on my Scion. I was called back because when my vehicle was scanned it was identified as a Saturn Ion. I politely said it was not and that The vehicle was, indeed, a Scion xB. The issue was resolved when the number was manually entered. I was then told I needed to purchase a wheel lug nut key (socket) so they could remove and replace the tires. I had to walk to the nearby AutoZoe (wait 15 minutes for the store to open) and purchase the required tool. I was confused how a tire center did not have a huge array of sockets nor keys. When texted that my car was completed. I had to wait about 10 minutes while multiple barcodes were scanned. When I attempted to speak with who I believe to be the manager. He never acknowledged me, gave me the total and entered more numbers. I was handed my receipt workout a single word said to me. He never made eye contact with me. Horrible Experience! Zero Stars would be more a accurate rating. read more

I was driving across country from Ohio to California and had gotten as far as Indiana when my "check tire pressure light" came on. Being a woman driving alone on the road, I wanted to get this checked out immediately. I Googled the closest tire center (it was on a Sunday) and found the Walmart Tire Center at 1965 N State ST, Greenfield, IN ~ as it was only a few exits away, I headed that way! I explained to the woman in charge, Linda, that I was alone and on my first day of my journey and wanted my tires checked out for my own peace of mind. Linda was so knowledgeable and explained what the 2 technicians (Adam & Eric) were looking for and I could see that they were giving all of my tires a thorough going over! By the time I left their store, I felt completely confident that everything was in order and I truly appreciated that Linda took the time to explain everything to me. I only come to this location here and there on my lunch and/or after work. I normally just use this location for the online order pick up. I've never done any full out grocery shopping here. I LOVE their pick up station. It is new within the last several months. It's right by the entrance to the grocery side. It has a large screened kiosk that you type your name or order number into and it puts your first name and last initial in que on a large tv display thats in the wait area so you can see the order in which you will be helped. They keep everything in a store room at the back of the wait area so they don't have to go to a completely different section of the store to pick up your item. I love this type of check out. I am hoping that other stores will adopt this way of online store pick up. You simply sign your name on a hand held device and get a confirmation e-mail almost immediately following departure of the store. read more

I had an appointment to have tires installed on my vehicle at the Walmart auto service center. I had ordered the tires from walmart.com using their tire selector based off the recommendation for my vehicle on their website. When I arrived I was informed that they were the wrong tires for my vehicle. They informed me they could not exchange my tires or refund them because it's a walmart.com order and one of their marketplace sellers. I was told in 48 hours I would have an option on the app to receive a refund for the tires. The option never appeared. I spoke with numerous customer service agents over the phone and made several visits in-store. Each time being assured that I would have a refund started in 48 hours and I would receive a email confirmation. I have received this line 7 times with no confirmation. Currently the tires are sitting at Walmart. The tires never were in my possession and walmart still has my money refusing to refund me. I have received nothing but a run around and attitude. read more

They are completely racist about you getting your orders especially if you are black or a color that is not the same as the people that are shopping at the store. When I moved to Greenfield four years ago, I was surprised at how nice the Walmart was here. Polite, friendly, and attentive employees. Today, I watch a young greeter dance to the music in here earbuds as she ignores incoming and exiting customers. Employees in large groups with cellphones out laughing and carrying on. I love that at the end of the day and beginning of the over night shift there are what feels like hundreds of employees yet not one of them apparently can run a register as I had to scan and bag my own grocies. 200 dollars worth. I didn't even get an employee discount for doing the work. To sum it up, what ever you, Walmart, have done in changes it has not been for the better of the customer. You can't blame COVID for this, managing people isn't easy and you have failed. Since I have to bag all my stuff I suppose I will move to Aldi's, it isn't like your unstocked shelves hold a higher quality, but the employees are as I have never been ignored there. If your product is defective or arrived wrong then they will give you a new one or give your some in store credit. This was a dirty, rotten trick. The unethical people at the Greenfield, Indiana Walmart Supercenter shipped me nothing but extremely dented cans of Hunts Tomatoes. I am not exaggerating, or kidding: Every one of the 72 cans they shipped to me is badly dented, mostly near the soldered seams where they are most likely to allow air molecules to enter into the cans, making the food unsafe to eat. I will not buy canned food online from Walmart again, because they ship it from wherever they have the most on hand - and if the order happens to be filled by unscrupulous people like those at the Greenfield, Indiana Walmart Supercenter, they will ship you nothing but badly dented cans that have been reboxed. It is impossible that every can - yes, 72 of 72 cans - could have been badly dented inside the cartons, without damaging the cartons. Many of the cans are so badly deformed that it is difficult to open them with a can opener. The people at this store deliberately saved and collected all of their extremely dented cans of Hunts Tomatoes, reboxed the dented cans in fresh cartons, and unloaded 72 badly dented cans of Hunts Tomatoes on me - because I live far away from their store. Unethical Walmart managers like this will cause other customers, like me, to realize that it is not safe to order canned food online from Walmart, because of unscrupulous cheaters like those at the Greenfield, Indiana Walmart Supercenter. I wanted to write this review after visiting your Greenfield, Indiana location. This was a low budget day and a time when I had 2 gift cards, one with a small amount and one with a very limited selection of allowed purchases. When I went to the self checkout, it would not let me purchase one of the items (not on list). The other card had a small amount but would allow me to purchase cat food. It did not matter because it would not allow a cancel transaction. I had dimes and nickels that added to $7.00. The lady was named Melissa, she not only tried to change the transaction, she helped me input the $7.00 in change. She also told me she had the same thing happen earlier to herself. If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered groceries to be delivered between 9-10 am. After the groceries still not showing up at 10:30 I called. They said they were just then working on the previous day's orders. I was told that I could go to the store to pick the groceries up. Feeling skeptical we drove to the store. I called and told them the issue and they said they would look to see if they could find my groceries. I said 'well that doesn't sound promising'. I was told that if I was patient they would get my groceries out to me. 25 minutes later and still nothing. The other issue is that I ordered salt for my water softener. This is the 2nd week in a row where the order indicated that they were out of salt. While we waited the 25 minutes my husband went into the store and found salt with no problem. Clearly someone was either being lazy and didn't want to carry it or they didn't even look for it. We gave up and ended up going to Kroger and buying groceries. Walmart.... never again. read more

Finally got through to someone around 945pm and all she says is they all left for the night and to call back in the morning!! After fighting crowds of people in tight walkways. I thought the battle was over yet when I walked to the front of the store, I was wrong. I walk to the nearest open register to find the line backed all the way up to the shopping area, completely blocking the huge walkway in the front of the store. I was talking to my shopping companion and commented on the fact that they had so many unopened registers when I was interrupted by a rude employee who stated "registers 6 & 7 are also open". This meant that in a large super Walmart there were three registers with employees ringing things up for customers. I am less than pleased and would suggest taking your business elsewhere unless improvements are made. read more

I have visited this Walmart for the past 15 years. Always a good experience, any time of the day or night. Stopped in this morning (6/14/18) to check out the paint department. Had a small window of opportunity for a project, and figured on a quick visit as usual. The people working at 5:30a.m. were very friendly, and attempted to assist me. I spoke with 5 associates, the fifth told me their sample scanning equipment was new, and no one on their shift had been trained yet. I have shopped here many times and always had a good overall experience, even during Christmas rush times of the year. The shelves are usually stocked well and all the products are kept organized. Prices are low, it's Wal-Mart, that's what they do, lol. I would say most of the town shops here because if they don't have it, then you might need to special order it online, haha. So, we purchase TurboTax and the price doesn't match the pick-up option price. So, we go to the front desk to ask for the price listed for $65.32 and we paid $79.99 with a $5.00 gift card given. No, we're a store and we don't have those same prices. So, let me get this. I come to shop and I pick out my product. I can't get the pick-up price. But, if I order on-line and have you pay an employee to go pull the product...I can get that price. I made a mistake attempting to give Walmart a chance again. I'd give a negative number on here if there was an option. Worst Walmart that I have ever been to. The customer service is always so bad. No one there wants to work or do their job, including the assistant manager. They tried to charge me more for a tv than the price said. Had to go back and get the extra amount off. Then not even 2 months later the tv completely stopped working. I had to take it back and was just wanting to exchange it for another. They didn't have it in stock but they wouldn't do anything to get me a new one. They acted like it was my fault and the manager lied to me. When I told her it was the worst Walmart and the other problems I've had there she simply replied "I'm sorry you feel that way." It's not a feeling but a fact honey! Wal-Mart has came a long way in keeping grocery shelves full from where they used to be. They seem to always have dedicated workers in each section working to keep items in stock. Most are friendly and helpful if you need their assistance getting something. Fresh beef prices seem high day in and day out. Produce is okay but quality and size is just fair at best. In one way it's nice that u can buy a shotgun, tv, bicycle but if you're just there for groceries they may route you all over the store..i.e.pet food..Overall with Marsh gone this is your best choice in town. The other chain store is out of stock a lot, undermanned, and employees are not a happy lot like the Wal-Mart ones seem. read more

Does this WalMart have security issues? I think so! They are targeting valued customers that buy multiple items in bulk (items that don't fit in a bag). I gave feed back to the management that asking for a receipt should be asked for by everyone, the last time I was in there. They assured me that this is their directive to their employees asking to see receipt from anyone leaving the store. NO......They are selective and targeting customers. If you are buying water, dog food, Gatorade, soda, plus other bagged groceries, you will be asked to show your receipt and then your items will be scanned AGAIN before leaving the store. I was stopped and harassed after spending $190 in groceries. I had a receipt. 2 customers walked by me with unbagged items, I asked why the employee did not ask to see their receipt? "You have multiple items"! Really, I was targeted. This was after TWO WalMart employees scanned my groceries at check out. Management said this is directive at every store to see receipt......then make it so. I have no issues at Meier, guess who is shopping there! read more
