The pharmacy seemed to be the most staffed part of the store, there were more behind the counter than any place else in the store. That's partly because of all the unmanned self-checkout kiosks in the front, somewhat crowded with a lot of other displays, service counters, and devices, many of which had "out of order" signs on them. The dark colored carpet and the dim lights add to the dreariness.

I avoid this store whenever possible and many of my friends have told me they have the same opinion and have switched to any other local pharmacy which handles things more professionally. A prescription takes 20 minutes to fill in the amsterdam route 30 rite aid, which is by all means busier, and a prescription in Gloversville takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to fill at this store. Other pharmacies in the area tell you come back in two hours but I've never waited more than 5 minutes here. The employees are very knowledgeable and courteous. Today I went there as the designated location for my second Covid booster shot. They took me right on time for my appointment. The general pharmacy staff was friendly. However, of special note, the pharmacist was super friendly and efficient. Although I was already familiar with the potential side effects (since this was my forth Covid related shot) the pharmacist took extra time to explain things and was extremely attentive despite the pharmacy being extremely busy. Overall I was very impressed with the interaction today and I highly recommend this pharmacy.
