Worst Walmart in south central. 95 percent of products are all in the wrong place. Only a small percentage of items are priced. But the biggest problem is the produce. The produce here is always ALWAYS bad. Everything I've ever bought tastes like chemicals, and most of the time everything is either rotting, molded, or looks like it was pecked by birds. I keep going back but it's a terrible Walmart. The remodel only made the store smaller in the aisles, with unnecessary displays like clothing stores, the women's clothing is horrible, but the men's section is great. I won't buy any produce there and I bought a whole chicken on Sunday and it was rotten. So you can't buy women's clothes, you can't buy decent meat, and you can't buy good produce. Noticed Walmart is doing some improvements, not only are they redoing the store making it look quite fantastic things are a lot better to find and much more organized but I have noticed that they actually have people there checking you out that alone is just fantastic finally thank you Walmart! read more

This review is for the auto care center. I had a bad experience at a Walmart in a different location and all the staff were helpful in correcting the situation, especially their manager Rainy. Rainy provide excellent customer service and was so helpful and nice. read more

Up until a month ago, I used to work at this particular store. Even though I worked there, I stopped shopping there just after a couple of months. I didn't like how my co-workers treated customers for a start. For instance, we had a slip and fall and when I asked the guy in electronics to call for someone over the intercom, he acted like it was a big inconvenience for him. My co-workers all acted this way in general, never saying "hi" to customers or just acting dismissive when a customer asked them a question. One time, when I didn't have my vest on so I looked like a regular customer, I asked a lady stocking shelves if she had any Easter baskets with sharks on them. The lady turned to me, laughed, and said "I have no idea." As she turned around, I saw some right by her head. I pointed them out to her, but she seemed indifferent. (Maybe the lady didn't know what a shark was.) The stock room is also crawling with brown recluse spiders. BIG ones. Walmart didn't want to call in an exterminator (that'd look bad) so whenever we saw a spider we were supposed to step on them. I worked third shift (night time when there weren't any customers) and sometimes one of the maintenance men would take a long broom and sweep things out from under the shelves in various locations of the store. One guy was doing this in the Grocery aisle I was working on. (Aisle 6-7 with the Asian/Spanish food to be exact.) Any food the guy swept out from under the shelves was promptly put on the shelf. He didn't brush the package off or see if it had expired or anything. So gross! Walmart, (at this location anyway,) doesn't really recycle it's trash either. It all goes in the dumpster even though they have bins for different items, like plastic, aluminum, etc. This particular Walmart makes out like it helps out the community. They do the Cram the Cruiser, Toys for Tots Toy Drive, March of Dimes, etc. but it's just for show. Whenever a package of food, like Ramen Noodles, has been opened, they'll write it off as "Claims" (damaged) and then chuck the food in the dumpster. This food, which is perfectly good as long as it hasn't been opened, could go to local homeless shelters or food banks. Walmart throws away hundreds of pounds of food a month! I've seen Ramen noodles, cookies, glass bottles of water, bags of candy, packs of hot coco, fruit cups, chocolate pudding cups, boxes of oatmeal packs, and the like just thrown into the dumpster just because one of them was missing or damaged. It's not just food, it's also toiletries like packs of toothpaste, school supplies, crafts items, pet food and supplies, etc. If you want to shop at a store where you can make a difference and feel good about yourself, I'd suggest not shopping at Walmart, this one in particular. read more

I am a disabled American veteran with PTSD that needs a Service dog. I have an emotional support animal. I have taken my Service dog everywhere with me for the last 15 years. Unfortunately my service dog has grown to old to go everywhere with me so Ive been blessed with a new young service dog that is a registered emotional support animal. because he is in training he does better at this point riding in the basket. Today I was refused entrance into Walmart unless my service animal walked. There are many different types of service animals for different needs of disabled persons. I tried to explain but the greeter at the front was rude and unprofessional. I left and will not return. I'm a combat injured veteran just trying to get by. This is without a doubt the worst Walmart I have ever seen! Although this is the closest Walmart to me, I refuse to shop there. They are perpetually out of stock on half the items they normally carry- with big empty spaces on the shelves. They are constantly rearranging the store so that you can't find anything! When I used to shop there, I would get "stuck" on many of the refrigerated items- I'd get them home (in my cooler, with ice) and they'd be stale, despite being within the sale date. They always have extremely annoying music blaring, and there are never more than two or three cashiers working, so the lines are always long. On my final trip there, the lines were so long, I just abandoned my cart, which must have had $200 worth of crap in it, and walked out. And....the store seems to attract all of the cretins, so that there are always SCREAMING, schreeching children running around. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Tompkinsville or Columbia store- or any other store, because this Walmart is the pit of Hell! (T'is a shame- it was nice when it first opened, and for several years, when the old manager ran it.) read more

Well. I dislike going to Walmart in general - there are several very good reasons why they are the most sued company in the history of, well, history. But this Walmart is exceptionally bad. When the store was half this size (before moving across town) the had twice the items in stock. The last time I went there to return a defective product, the lady at the (so-called) Service desk laughed at me and said there were no returns or refunds on this item and then she got nasty with me. I am sorry to say I got nasty back, told them this was tantamount to theft and demanded a manager. Three people later a manager finally came and they called the police! Unbelievable! So, the bottom line is this: shop somewhere else. read more
