The worst Walmart I have ever see. They are out of so many necessities. This trip, no regular eggs (they had very few brown and organic eggs, none I would pay the ridiculous price for) and no salt, how do you run out of salt? They were out of the Walmart brand of all of frozen vegetables other than broccoli and the jumbo bags of peas and corn. I got pic sweet mixed vegetables instead, but that's a bigger bag and 4 times the cost. The dog food I always get was out, that's happened before at other stores. They also mislabel the isles. Ant acids are labeled on isle 7, but actually are in isle 10. And they don't mark the prices for many of the products on the shelves. Liquor store visited 4:45 PM 22 Nov 25. Picked a bottle, went to counter. Two employees, two registers, no greeting. Both employees didn't smile, one was wearing dark glasses. Left register was busy, right one appeared to be open. I set my bottle down. Someone came up to the side of me and they waited on them. No explanation. Put my bottle back on the shelf. Left. Don't see me going back since they have never been friendly or efficient. Pity, they have the prices right, but no class. Feels very inner city, and that we ain't. Walmart super center located in fort walton Florida. I'm on a week long vacation with the family and we stopped in here to grab some necessities. Very large and nice Walmart. Seemed pretty clean despite being very busy and the workers handled the lines and people well it seemed. One thing that was different with this wall mart from others I've ever been to is they have an airbrush t shirt and towel section. Thai area cost me a lot of money. Lol all 4 kids wanted a a souvineer t shirt airbrushed. So that was a cool unexpected surprise. They enjoyed it a a whole lot. Overall nice and cool wal mart. Did the trick for what we needed and added and extra bonus with the air brush area. read more

I truly dislike entering, walking through, shopping, and I dread going through self-check out line of this Walmart, but when all the cashier registers are full, I want out as soon as possible. Hi Walmart, I have set your door beeper thing off once because for some reason my implanted loop recorder probably decided to reset or whatever; I carry a card for those unexpected times and I thought nothing of you all checking the shopping bags and asking questions. I have used your self checkout systems many times without any problems but lately, your machine decided that since I used the multiple purchase calculator thing, you know enter 6 cucumbers, and it showed I rang up 6 cucumbers, but as soon as I move to put the 6 cucumbers in the bag, the little light flashes and I get more assistance than I have ever had in that store. Your camera showed me putting my 6 cucumbers in the bag. NO theft. Then there was the time I bought 4 boxes of biscotti, ahhh, this time I did not use the multiple item calculator and the light goes off anyway. Again, your camera shows I rang 4 and bagged four. That flashing light has gone off almost every single time I use that service. Look. If you can't get your machines to do the job, try going back to using humans at all registers, cause your self checkout is less than a dollar store calculator. And, as for the humans you have working in the electronics/phone department; try hiring people that actually know something about the product, instead of hiring people that like standing around yapping on their cellphone. Most of the people that work at this location are friendly and like to help you find items you need. I had an employee stop what they were doing to show me where my items would be. My husband finally getting the security device removed from our purchase at Walmart. My husband and I went to Walmart to find a bra and some recharging hair clippers. There were four Walmart employees at the changing area. Two were arranging clothes. One was remarking on the structural integrity of a display and the likelihood it would last- skeptical tone ensues. I don't have a problem with any of this. Ten minutes later I find a product I'd like to just try on OVER MY CLOTHES in a moderately discreet area. Now there's just one of the three there tucked away in the now -Closed- changing area. I ask if it was possible for me to just scoot in the area she was standing in - mind you there's a cart blocking the doors- I get it -it's closed. She says "Ma'am it's closed no we can't." Okay that's fine I accept it and walk away. At check out there are 3 people including us waiting at the check out and the ONLY rep there was chatting it up with a customer who had completed their transaction and was leaving. We all 3 had our lights on for assistance, my husband turns his head to the right and says ma'am we need our security device removed. She ignores him and begins to laugh uproariously and continues chatting. As he mentions this I grab my phone to open Yelp and take A picture. At this point she stops immediately and assists the other two who were before us. I'm am MORE THAN FINE with this. What I didn't appreciate was the very clear sense that until I reached for my phone she didn't care. Not impressed and therefore had to take a photo. read more

So I go the next day after 3 and called for my order and wad told they would be right out! Evidently they don't know what right out means! Saw 1 person bring out groceries to 1 customer in 30 minutes and still haven't received my order! This store is pathetic in its management and customer service! Very displeased with the treatment my fiancé and I received at this location. Made a return when manager Tom, had me go back out to the vehicle to retrieve an id after waiting in a rather long line, mind you this is a rather hot day. I get back into line to make my returns and the woman said I had no need to go all the way back out to the car, my ID was not necessary for this transaction. Gift card issued for return did not work at register. My fiancé was harassed about his state issued license at the money center and was outright refused Service by Tom and female manager on duty. We have never had issues like this at any other place of business and I will not be returning to this Walmart. We regularly use money services and never had an issue. Except here. It's not that nice anyway and needs updating. Lots of items priced incorrectly or not priced at all.asked for price and was sent to broken price scanner. Man was helpful at checkout though! . Be Conscientious of how you treat others...you don't know if they've been in management And know how they are supposed to be treated. These problems run deeper than bad customer service. There just aren't many options here for affordable ways to stock up on household stuff. Paper towels, toilet paper, canned goods, etc - either you can wait for one of the super markets to have a decent sale, or you go to Walmart. Unfortunately, this Walmart is one of the poorer ones I've ever been to. The other day the limes in the produce department were obviously molding and were still left in a display - not just the area where they normally are sold, but they were actually still in a big display facing the aisle where people were walking into the store with a sign that said "WOW!" or something equally ridiculous on it. After living here for five years, I've learned that you just kind of have to take this Walmart as it is. They've rearranged it a couple of times, but it's never really truly improved. It's more affordable to buy a lot of things there, it's open 24 hours, and there's not another one or a comparable store within a 30 minute drive, so for me it remains a necessary evil. read more

WORST CHECKOUT Ever!! Checkout procedures is ridiculous! Went to a Scan & Go that has no Limits and was refused to use it because there was a "20 item limit" went there is no posted sign, was not given the option to split items between customers and the Sales Associate didn't even bother counting how many items were in the cart before saying I could not use the Scan & Go station. And there isn't many man operated checkout registers open and had to stand in a 20 min line. read more

Delivery. Have had groceries delivered to vacation condo in the past from Destin store and it went very well and was super convenient so I decided to try it again this year. I had 5 substitutions, including 2 that were nowhere near original item. And I had 9 out of stock items, including a case of bottled water. I have a hard time believing they did not have any cases of bottled water to sub a different brand. The app wasn't working to let me decline those 2 substitutions so I called and asked them to take them off. While on the phone with him I asked him about the bottle waters and he said oh yes I'm sure we can get some for your order. That did not happen. Very inconvenient. I am in this store quite often and usually have pretty good experiences. The wait time at the checkout would be my main concern as during certain hours there are only a few cashiers and it can take you longer to purchase your supplies than it did to shop. The location is great and there is plenty of parking. There is a nice Subway inside for a nice lunch option. This location does have SCO with multiple lanes to speed up your visit, but is closed at certain times if they do not have any available associates to staff the area. Plus, all the ladies and gents that deliver the groceries to your car are SO nice and helpful. During my last pickup, they just gave me a bouquet of flowers for no reason! Plus, it was pouring cats and dogs and the lady insisted I stay in my car while she loaded everything so that I could stay dry. Just super nice and helpful! By shutting all of the doors except the one to the south, they funnel everyone through that one (instead of in one door and out another). This review is based on Walmart OPTICAL and the office run by Dr. Rhonda Hendrix OD PA at location 748 Beal Pkwy NE Ft Walton Bach, Fl. I had my eyes examined at a local Walmart three months ago. Dr. Hendrix was friendly and provided a timely exam, absolutely no complaints there. They went through my insurance (which should have fully covered the appointment) and yet charged me an additional $80 out of pocket (which I paid for and still retain the copy of). I called today for my contact prescription and they said I had to come back in to be re examined and it would be another $30-40. I told them absolutely not, I paid for an annual exam and they went through my insurance I'm not paying additional money for information I've already paid for! They said "it's our policy". First, sounds fraudulent or like a scheme to take advantage of clients. I said "absolutely fucking not". They said " your eyes could have changed". For over two decades I have received annual eye exams. The results of those annual exams are good for 12-24 months on average. IF they had examined my eyes and allowed me to depart with ill fitting lenses that would be malpractice on their part. In no other place in this country have I ever needed to have to pay for another eye exam. There is no reason to not receive my information from my recent exam FREE of additional charge. Information being the size contacts for which I was fitted and the samples I was provided. Something about "your policy" is fishy. Ok this sense the place is taking advantage of their clientele. Fwb beach store is the WORST STORE EVER I only live 5 minutes away and used to work there years ago and now its the worst its EVER been!!! They wont even honor their own online products!! Basically telling me that I have to pay 5 dollars more then online price because it in the store!?! They are always out of everything I go in for. The managers degrade their employees in front of you the customer. You never see the store manager and he is never there when you ask for him. Poor customer service. Having my store recite, they very rude towards me. Even speaking towards me in a vulgar language. They scanned the item, and it was the same item on my recite. And they said, they couldn't refund what I bought nor exchange it. The morning manager said, in a very loud voice to call the main office if I wanted too. I have never been treated so poorly by no one as I did at this Walmart. I nor my family, friends will buy nothing from there ever again. This has not only has happened too me but, too my friends and people I know. They, always have a lot of employees doing nothing. The store is not clean or organized as they should be. Went to the tire center for help. I needed to change my trailer tire or at least fix it. The "mechanic" pretty much blew me off, said we don't do trailer tires and didn't bother to explain. Then inside they don't even have any common trailer sizes in stock. Don't recommend to anyone and definitely don't trust their "mechanics" to work on vehicles.
