This is the... most pristine Walmart I have ever seen and I am not a fan of even going. But when you're out of town and you neeeeeeeed things.... This Walmart has the freshest of freshest produce sections (minus the one HUGE ASS AVOCADO- it was rotten from the pit not on Walmart but it was as big as both my fist) I have ever laid eyes on. Insane... the mangoes y'all... chefs kiss hit 'em five times right now!!!! It was better lit, clean, didn't smell like ass and cigarettes even with people in it that did... omg y'all it was crazy. Very disappointing experience at the Estero Walmart. I purchased a $40 beach umbrella here as a last-minute item for a day at the beach. After getting everything packed, driving out there, and setting everything up, we discovered the umbrella had clearly been used and was so badly damaged that it literally fell apart when we opened it. We couldn't even use it. Extremely frustrating when you buy something specifically because you need it that day. When I returned it, I wasn't upset about the $40. My concern was how an item in that condition ended up back on the shelf for another customer to purchase. I tried explaining this to a manager/"Coach" named James. Instead of listening to my concern, he became defensive, repeatedly interrupted me, and spoke to me in a condescending manner. When I referred to Walmart as "y'all," he immediately responded, "We didn't do that. We didn't put that back on the shelf," as though I was personally accusing him. What really surprised me was another employee telling me, "We do not check the products when they're returned. We just trust the customer." If that's actually the procedure, that's concerning. I doubt anyone is putting a returned PS5 straight back on the shelf without checking it first. Why should a customer buying a $40 item deserve any less consideration? The defective umbrella was frustrating, especially because it affected our beach plans. But the dismissive attitude from James when I raised a legitimate concern is what really turned this into a bad customer-service experience. read more

I particularly enjoy the Garden Center. First off, let me say this is by no means a reflection on the Walmart store itself. It's Walmart Customer Service. I started a medical journey beginning of this year and I purchased items from the store that didn't work out. I returned them within a week of purchase to the store. $68.63 worth. That was July 3rd.2025. The associate assured me I would receive my refund back to my card in 4 to 5 days. Long story short, it is now September 19, 2025, I've spoken to 10 customer service reps, 1 manager, several hours on the phone. My bank card compromised 3 times. Still no refund. They do not issue store credit. They do offer a refund check. Which I was promised by the manager on Sept. 12th. 2025. As I said today there is no update, no ETA on when I will be receiving said check. I am very sure that I will not be ordering from Walmart online in the future. I went there returned something called them to ask if they have seen a Drive License and quickly the response was "NO" and after I stated to the lady you didn't even look or ask anyone you immediately stated "NO". Walmart - massive, with a grocery and lots of aisles of discounted (post-seasonal) and cheap materials. Plenty of selection of the basic necessities, although a number of shelves were bare (looking at sealant for transmission fluid) and not available. Fruit was fresh, nothing too damaged or rotten lying about - good inventory control there. Veggies were nice and crisp, though they were out of ground pork inexplicably (someone there mentioned a sudden influx of Italian visitors that bought it all up for the meatballs). Checkout is crazy, as at most Walmarts, but we managed to get through without any fisticuffs. read more

Walmart to me is a guilty-pleasure, I love that I can go in and buy almost everything that I need at a good price. But sometimes it can be a hassle with busy parking lot and crowded aisles. In those times I stay laser like focused and just muddle through. I prefer the Estero location, lucky for me it is new and near my home. And so far the staff have been well trained. This is an awesome Wal-Mart. It is brand new, so it may just be the shiny new appeal but it won me over. So organized, so clean, completely stocked and the employees are the friendliest Walmart employees I have encountered. So it felt like a Target but with Walmart prices. We bought a great electric bike from Walmart, took delivery and put it together. Made several bonehead mistakes. Took it back to the store. Customer service could not have been more helpful. They assembled a team of five associates who looked at the bike, asked questions and promised to have it ready in a couple of days. I went home and within two hours I got a call that it was ready! We could not have been more pleased with the service, the can do attitude, and the knowledgeable, effective and prompt service we received. Thank you, Walmart! The lady working customer service this morning at 6:45am was so incredibly rude. The first thing out of her mouth was "First of all we aren't open and second of all what do you want?" Verbatim. Five stars as you have to compare apples to apples. In this case to Kmart and Target. Kmart being a two and Target a Three and a half. This store is a year and a half old. It is very clean and the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. We get our prescriptions and are very satisfied with the service. First ,let me start by saying that I'm not a big fan of Walmart. Too many Chinese products and not enough made in the USA! I only go in occasionally for a couple specific items. If you've ever been to any of the other Walmart's in the Fort Myers area you know this is the nicest, cleanest, most well stocked Walmart in the area. I drive about 8 miles out of my to go this Walmart. If you want to experience a really crappy Walmart go to the one on Colonial boulevard. It's about 3 miles from me and I refuse to go in there because of how filthy that store is. It's poorly managed, poorly staffed, and one of the dirtiest store I've ever been in. read more

LEAVE A ZERO STAR IF I COULD. get to Walmart to grab a few things then quickly realize I need a cart and can't carry everything. My bf sets about 3 items down near a register by the door (as it was the only spot available to set it down) so he wasn't taking his items outside to grab a cart. He comes back in and starts loading his things in the cart, an employee comes charging over yelling "we don't do that here" and starts grabbing stuff out of our cart. We're obviously confused and ask what she means. She continues to say we don't do that and accuses us of scanning the items on the register. The register wasn't even ON. We try to explain we were just grabbing a cart and she continues to accuse us and yell over us. Completely unprofessional. Didn't even try to approach us in a polite or professional manner, just went straight to accusing. In total shock of the way she treated us when we had done nothing wrong, and there was even other employees right by us who saw the whole thing. He was heading back into the store with the cart, so tell me how would scanning them even worked?? It wasn't a self checkout register just the normal line one. Again the register wasn't even on and we were still being accused of shit when she could've clearly seen the register from where she was. She didn't even bother apologizing or making things right once we finally were able to explain ourselves she just hurried off without saying a word. Horrendous customer service. I honestly just wanted to put my stuff down and leave the store I was so disgusted by how she treated us. I have one word for anyone thinking about using this Walmart pharmacy. DON'T. I just transferred all my scripts to Walgreen's on Williams in Estero except for a nasal spray because I didn't have the original box with the prescription label. Went to the Walmart pharmacy to get the rx number & they said they didn't have a record of it. When I told this very rude unhelpful person that all three scripts, (I had 2 bottles with me), were sent from the doctor on the same day, she just stared at me. I've been going to this Walmart for a very long time and I've never really had an issue until today. I was greeted by an extremely rude worker named Tamila. I was checking out and I wanted to purchase 2 microfiber towels for washing my car. They had no price tag on them and neither did any of the others on the aisle so I figured they would help me out like the managers usually do when a price is missing or there is a similar issue like this. The cashier called over Tamila for assistance and she began being extremely rude and unkind to him and talking down on him as if it was his fault that there was no price. She did this in front of me and the rest of the customers in line. I told her that all of the towels on the aisle were like this and it was extremely hard to find what I was looking for and when I did they had no price sticker and I asked her if they could fix that for other customers so that no one else would have this issue. After this she became extremely rude with me and continued to call me sweetheart and talk down on me. It's sad that Walmart hires people like this and especially that the people who are most respectful are the cashiers and not those in management positions like Tamila. read more

The pictures posted may look good but if you actually look at the toys they have there, you'd see that they're nonsense. A bunch of rinky-dink things an they're only stacked one deep on the shelves.
