Asking last name and when you say it she is like "only need first three letters not entire last name" you waiting on the line and she is like "don't pass the waiting line" (even if you don't) unnecessarily raising tension. read more

I would leave a 0 star if I could. I never ever leave reviews unless they're good, but this pharmacy service was atrocious. I left three messages over the span of 4 days because I couldn't get in touch with anybody in the pharmacy. It kept putting me through to voicemail. I did not receive even 1 call back about my prescription so I decided to go to the store today. This older lady was taking people at the pick up station and below her breath called the woman in front of me stupid and told the guy who had been waiting to go to the back of the line so I let him go in front of me. After letting them know I called and left all of those messages the lady didn't acknowledge it at all and said well it looks like it's not ready because we don't have it in stock. I wish I could rate this CVS pharmacy a zero- they are horrible! They only check their answering machine three times a day. Half the time the answering machine does not record prescriptions sent in from a doctor. The staff will claim they never got a prescription. I've had to have my doctor and/or vet call in medications 3 to 4 times before they finally go through their system. The staff then claims that I'm being rude when I get upset. I will admit I did get angry today because this is not the first time it's happened. It's not the second time it had happen. It's not even the 10th time this has happened. This is literally EVERY time I use this pharmacy. Unfortunately due to my health insurance I have to use CVS pharmacy for my personal medication. I think this is outrageous that I'm stuck going to a horrible company. But I am, at the very least, going to switch to a different location because this Estero location is horrific. We aren't even "in season" yet;there is no reason that every time I have to pick up a medication for myself or my dog there should be an issue. Shame on you, Estero CVS, for making sick people and sick animals have to wait on your incompetence. I would be embarrassed to work in this pharmacy. read more

Called CVS pharmacy because they did not fill a prescription. After 3 disconnects and a hangup. Waiting on hold they told me they did not receive it. Called Dr. And she sent it promptly. Called back CVS the next day and told them. They said I needed a higher dr. Title to fill it. My Dr. Was a PA. I was getting frustrated with the lack of communication I received from them. CVS deserves 0 stars. They were so rude and the person who answered the phone was beyond obnoxious. I got management involved a year ago the same thing happened. Nasty nasty CVS pharmacy. read more

24-7 Pharmacy (including a drive-thru) and right beside the golf course for when you need some aspirin or a band-aid right after the course. Note that they have a limited selection of silicone bandaids, but stock otherwise an impressive set of medicine for the ill and infirm. All the basics, and a few food basics, too, for those who need something last-minute (open late even day before the winter holidays). Friendly staffers in the pharmacy, though the checkout line at the front was slow... very slow. read more

I was on hold for 45 minutes, drove the the pharmacy still on hold, got there- no one in the pharmacy or drive thru- still on hold. They claimed they answered all phone calls- I guess just not mine? This CVS has the minute clinic. They were on their lunch break so I took a seat and patiently waited. 2 people came out and walked past me without saying anything. Then another woman who I assume was the doctor came out and asked if I had an appointment. I did not because this is a walk in clinic that I've never been to. I wasn't aware an appointment was required. She said she thought she was booked up for the day but I could check the kiosk and then she walked away. No greetings, no further explanations or assistance, didn't even check to see what the issue I needed to be seen for was or give me suggestions on where else I could be seen. For a clinic- the service was terrible and I most likely will not be back. Thanks CVS! read more

Absolute worst. We waited in line at the drive through for literally twenty minutes watching the car in front of us argue with the pharmacist. I'm guessing her prescription wasn't ready, as that seems to be the trend. After the 20 minute wait, we pulled up only to see the "pharmacy closed" sign. It was 6:01 pm. Thankfully we could wait for the prescription until tomorrow, but I'm not sure about the other two cars behind us. I hope they weren't dependent upon getting their meds that day. This review is plainly based on the minute clinic. The nurse was terrible. First she was all upset because I didn't have my flu shot. Secondly I explained to her 3 times about how long I've been having pain and she still got the timeline wrong. Then we awkwardly sat there for 5 minutes without saying anything while she was typing then she finally tells me to take naproxen which I already told her didn't help. The NP I saw very professional and treated my Sinus/ URI to my satisfaction. I have Never had to use this type of service in the past, however, I would definitely recommend based on my experience. Very rude pharmacy staff. Called in a prescription days ahead of time in anticipation of an upcoming trip. When I called to check if it was ready, was given an attitude the entire call. Needless to say the prescription isn't ready days later because they don't have it in stock. They weren't able to tell me where I could find it in stock, and I was rudely asked where I was going where I wouldn't have access to a drug store. Simply, I don't need this attitude from someone that I'm trying to give my business. Even if they didn't have my stuff available, they could have been much nicer about it. read more

I have had two separate experiences now with the head pharmacist, John. I have been a regular customer of CVS pharmacies for 15 years now, and I am considering taking my prescriptions elsewhere because of his attitude. This store is closest to my home, and I have only had to deal with filling a monthly prescription for ADHD medication for five months now. I was not previously familiar with the procedures for controlled substances, and he has had a very condescending attitude when discussing the inability to give any information about whether a prescription can be filled. The last time I went to this store and they were out, he explained that they are not able to say when a prescription will be able to be filled, and I would just have to go to another store. He was rude and dismissive when I was frustrated because I didn't understand why I would not be able to know if my prescription would be able to be filled at their location by the time I needed it. I called another CVS, and they said they would be able to fill it, and they told me all of this over the phone, before I drove all the way to the other store. This time, I tried to call the Miromar store, and I was told by John that I would have to bring the prescription in, before I could find out if a 30-day prescription could be filled. I also accidentally called it a refill, and he felt the need to correct me numerous times, over the phone and in person, that "it is not a refill." In person, he explained that other stores might not be so strict with information they give out over the phone because the Miromar store is the closest one to FGCU, and they have a lot of prescriptions for ADHD medications. I replied "I figured the University had a part in the attitude about prescription information," and he proceeded to contest that it's not an attitude, it's just their store's protocol. I had been told by another CVS tech at the exact same pharmacy that if I "possibly formed a relationship with the head pharmacist that they might be able to guarantee that the prescription can be filled at that store consistently." I have had nothing but pleasant experiences at the other CVS stores at which I have had this prescription filled, and with other pharmacy techs at the Miromar store. Obviously "forming a relationship with the head pharmacist" is not an option at the Miromar store. John's only response was that "there are other pharmacies five minutes from here"--which there are not, the closest cvs is 15 minutes from this location (and my house), and the next one is 20 minutes, and it is a 30-40 minute round-trip from my house. Walgreens is near the other CVS that is closest to me; if I'm going to drive that far, I might as well take John's "advice" and go to another pharmacy. I do not appreciate being treated like a college student abusing ADHD meds, or a drug addict, and I have been repeatedly spoken to in this manner by John. I have always been impressed by the customer service in CVS stores and pharmacies, but this has been such a negative experience that I'm not sure I want to continue my relationship with CVS at this point. read more

The staff at this CVS is always polite and professional. My spouse has a chronic illness and I am at this location more than five times each month for the past four years. During season, when we get slammed with snowbirds, they do their best to attend to the lines that form. The pharmacists and techs work hard and always go above and beyond when issues arise whether it be Doctor error or insurance rejections. Recently this location has been remodeled and continues to improve their already excellent customer service. read more

My review is NO stars! This is by far the WORST pharmacy I have been in. I am a regular customer to CVS in Chesterfield MI and have never been treated so badly! I had to get a script refilled for a second time (yes I gave them another chance) and the pharmacy staff is so rude it's unbelievable. There are plenty of unemployed people that would love your job. If you don't like it LEAVE. I know dealing with the public can be challenging but when a customer comes up to the counter with a smile on their face and you are still rude there's a problem. I will not be returning to the pharmacy ever and just want the owners to know about this because how can it be changed unless you do. I only put one star because I had to!! read more

This is literally the worst CVS I have ever been to. I would recommend going to any other CVS nearby rather than this one. Even when ordered days ahead of time, they don't have my prescriptions ready. I have to buy needles for my injection each time I go, and they never EVER give me the right needles. I tell them the "big pink needles" and they never can figure out which one that is, but I can't possibly be more descriptive. The people here have literally no idea what they're doing and are frustrating beyond belief. If you need prescriptions fast or correct, don't go here. Would rate no stars if possible. We are visiting from our of state and ran here for a quick clinic visit. Checked in online and it said 35 minutes. We get here and the registration code wasn't working so we signed in again. Then our name from first registration popped up on screen. We waited over an hour in the store for our 35 minute appointment. Then our name disappeared off the screen because apparently you were supposed to check in again even though we did it from our phone. When the next person was called we told the doctor we were next on the list and our name went away. All the while the rude lady that was after us barged her way in. She knew we were next. The doctor said nothing she could do because name wasn't next on the list. Told us to go elsewhere if we didn't like it. So we did. Instead of trying to help the situation the doctor and lady next in line were only worried about themselves. We are sorry we even came here and wasted over an hour of our time to be told to go elsewhere. read more
