Worst experience ever. Makes one just want to order on line, to cut the BS. At the checkout we, my friend and I had some alcoholic items. We were asked for ID, My friend started to show his ID which he keeps on his phone, that wasn't exceptable- Though he can and has showed it in a court house, in airports and banks, and real liquor stores and its exceptable. NOT here in WALMART !! Really, of all the crap and BS that takes place - in Walmart- we have seen pictures and read the stories...some even witnessed in person. Un F...ing believable. You lost two more customers....never, ever to return to a WALMART STORE.... LAST REVIEW FOR WALMART I had to remove my license from my wallet, which is out of state, and expired too...It was in the clear see through insert. The date of birth right there... Then after it taking a while to remove it1, him standing there waiting- expressed- and I quote - "if I don't like it- dont shop here, I have the right to ID you...." I was annoyed considering we were old enough to be his parents.....what a D... ! I wanted to just leave all the items there and walk out- Terrible customer service ... Rude and obnoxious... Entering on the Grocery side, I noted a free local Shopper newspaper, which I put in the cart. As I left in shock., at many prices up by four times since time I made note of certain one's prices, I put the newspaper in one of the bags at SELF CHECKOUT and brought out the "Paranoia Patrol".,who descended on me within seconds, instructing me to "Stop"while he inspected my bags of food. Seems small on the face of it without a context, but heavy handedness is applied at many different Walmarts across the country. De humanization is achieved one small step" at a time. I predict you will see or hear "Up against the wall, sleezebag" or similar, within five years after which you are frisked. For me, I'll stay with Aldi, who I mostly frequent anyway. Ross W. 7/6/2024 At the auto center 8a.m. Had a screw in left front tire. Bought 4 tires the last 2 or 3 mos from Walmart online and had Englewood, Fl Walmart auto center install them. First guy looked at and said we can't fix it you have to buy a new tire! I said I just bought these in the last 2 or 3 months! Mngr. came out and said the same thing! I said *^&% you! I'm going elsewhere! Went to My Mechanic across the street and they plugged it and didn't even charge! So, I gave the guy a few bucks for a tip. read more

I did not need any help but I thought the staff were not the most polite to other customers. I came primarily for veggies and fruit and the selection left much to be desired. The gas station has better prices than most in the area. read more

We use store for curbside service for the last 4 years, excellent curbside service every time, I can't understand any negative reviews.

Shopped on 10/2/23 express checkout, one item on display $9.98, one item had no bar code on pkg. 9.98 item rang up $10.98, uncoded item with attendant help rang up incorrect. I asked to see a mgr. She said mgr. Went home. Attendant said we don't give refunds on mistakes. This is my second bad experience at this Walmart. I shop at this location because I reside 1.5 miles away. ​ read more

Do not trust the Walmart tire center at Englewood FL. They refused to rotate my tires due to excessive wear on simply an eyeball inspection. Concerned I immediately took the SUV to Ford. Using a tire depth gauge Ford dealer measured the tread at 5/32 on three tires and 4/32 on the fourth. Well within acceptable limits. The tire center employees at this location are not properly trained and don't have the proper tools to properly assess tire wear. read more

Placed a pickup order for this store. Items were shown as in stock and available for same day pickup. Received a notice shortly after the order was placed, and acknowledged by Walmart, that two of my three items were being unilaterally canceled, but no further explanation was given. I was also advised by email not to come to the store until I receive a second email advising my order is ready for pickup. I'm still waiting days later. This is the third time I have placed pickup orders with Walmart and the second time i have not received a notice that the order is ready. None of the orders went smoothly. I have not experienced any of the issues others are complaining about. I find all employees to be helpful when asked. The pharmacy is typical of all Wal-Mart pharmacies and is extremely busy. The parking lot is always full so much caution is required when walking or driving. The only rudeness I have experienced has been from other customers. Typical of busy stores these days. read more

Bought a few tank tops. Unable to try on because dressing rooms are closed. I got home and didnt really like them. I took them back. While in line awaiting my turn the clerk waves her fingers at me I took that as "next". Not " can I help you" . She said no returns on clothing now. I said then you shouldn't sell clothing. I didnt see any signage to that effect. She rudely assured me there is. Well yes I looked and on one rack there was a 4×6 not highlighted index card but did say that. The next sign was about 3 isles away same thing. Even when looking for it couldn't really see it my point is those clerks have a lot to be desired in customer service. You can easily follow rules with a personality. Was I angry yes. there needs to be adequate notices listed on the merchandise or dont sell clothing!!! I'm over this Walmart read more

This pharmacy here is absolutely horrible! I can count numerous times that I waited over an hour to have a prescription filled only to be told when I returned to the counter that they are out of it and won't have any more for a few days. When it happened the first time, I can realize stuff happens and just suck up and deal with it but now, each and EVERYTIME after that is just ridiculous and getting old!! I'm sure it's not just me this happens too over and over either! I've seen my fair share of angry other customers at the counter over the same issues! read more

He saw that we were looking for something and immediately asked us what we needed. We told him and he said "follow me". Sure enough, he found a case in the back. We took them all! I got hurt in Walmart. There was no manager in the store. The "acting" manager did not know where the proper forms were to records it (how about a pad and pen? duh!). She could only offer me the opportunity to sit down and wait until a manager arrived, some hours later. Really??? What is your protocol? Return visit December 2016: Wow! Marked improvement in service since last visit. I thought I might have been in the wrong store! This time I was waited on by 2 friendly clerks who were helpful and polite. Good for you, Walmart! Keep doing whatever you did to achieve this complete reversal. read more
