We decided to go shopping this afternoon and we went to Kohl's at 19600 Cochran Blvd, Port Charlotte, for the first time. The first thing we noticed was that this store is LARGE. It was well-stocked and clean and bright. The prices were reasonable and considering their stock, there was a lot of value here. You can find almost anything your heart desires. We just bought a small bag of clips, but when we got to the checkout, they were very friendly and helpful. The checkout person smiled and told us all about their reward system and when we had questions she cheerfully answered them. If you have not gone there, then you owe it to your self to check them out. We will be back! read more

Hands down best Kohls I've ever encountered & I've been to quite a few as I grew up in Indiana and my parents took me & my 2 siblings to the nearest Kohls almost every school year for clothes - and now I've experienced 3 in Florida since moving here & it's hands down the BEST . Absolutely perfect selections - I am slightly curvy & so is my daughter so clothes shopping is usually very discouraging and draining - NOT HERE . I was able to get my daughter over $900 worth of school clothes in one trip so easily & stress - free , then for myself I've shopped here 3 times for myself & each time felt so welcomed , and was overwhelmed with joy with the many great options - they have tons of styles & very fair pricing , tons of great deals also ! Highly recommend getting a Kohl's account & card ! Debbie is an amazing cashier goes above and beyond for her customers , and the managers are great people - I forgot their names though - great people & great experience they deserve more than the 5 stars I can give ! read more

Love this store. Super clean and organized. Beside shoes and clothing, it carries a lot of good stuff for kitchen, bathroom, bedroom... Don't forget to check its clearance dept, you may find something useful and cheap. Staff is very nice and friendly. Would definitely shop here again. read more

We went to Florida recently to visit some family and since most of the family we visited were women, of course I got dragged on a shopping trip, LOL. At least I did get a free meal out of it:) I had never been in a Kohl's before although after having been into one, I plan on visiting more Kohl's in the Atlanta area. I really liked the deals that they had on their men's clothes (professional and casual). If I had to describe this place to someone who had never been before I would say it's like a Marshall's but a little more upscale, sort of like the difference between Target and Wal-Mart in my opinion. In my opinion, there wasn't much of a discrepancy between Kohl's prices and Marshall's although I didn't do a lot of in-depth research on that while I was in there,LOL. The wife did find a lot of good deals on baby clothes in here and the prices on those were very competitive. The staff were very friendly at this particular store although on this occasion we only interacted with the young lady at the register. We go to Florida quite a bit and I can see this becoming one of our regular stops when we are in town. read more

I have never been in a Kohl's previously. I had only ever heard of them once or twice when they built a new store in Daytona Beach. I never saw much in their flyers that would draw me in, but this Sunday I was in the area and was looking for any reason NOT to go back to work and figured I would stop in to kill my mind. True to form, I gravitated initially to the clearance and sale racks. I find that I can always get a good idea for the intrinsic value of the goods as well as who the patrons of a clothing store are by comparing the objects on the clearance racks with the racks as a whole. While I did find two hoodies (bright orange and dark green), I found that the store really had nothing for me. My analysis of this chain: 1. They have some passable design and style 2. They have some fairly decent prices 3. The conjunction of items 1 and 2 were almost non-existent. While I love my hoodies, I didn't see enough at this chain to really ever warrant a return trip for me. read more

Staff was very pleasant and greeted me when I entered the store. The store was very neat, with the exception of the clearance racks. There were many good deals and sales underway, and Kohls is always good with additional 15 & 20% off coupons. Check-out was very slow, 2 registers open and several people waiting to check out. read more

Store was very dirty. My husband went to lean his arm on one of the shelves and his arm was covered in dust. You could see on the floor were they vacuumed and were they didn't. The size of the clothes and the size indicated on the hanger were not the same. This made looking for my size very time consuming. The sale rack was set up with the hangers like that but also it wasn't broken down in sizes either. I loved this store but was very disappointed my last visit. read more

I never write reviews especially a bad one but I worked at this location and I was getting BULLIED and harassed by the managers. Shelly is the worst one. She has no respect and belittles everyone. Kohl's is my favorite store. It has incredible deals and prices that are so affordable. The clothes is stylish and has great quality. The staff is very helpful and friendly and I would recommend this store to anybody. They have all kinds of stuff ranging from electronics to home décor. This store is fantastic with no flaws. Accidentally left a diaper bag in one of the carts and when returned to look for it, associates acted like they did not care nor tried to help. Ended up finding the bag at one of the registers on our own. On top of that, there was a customer that was not able to walk to the customer service desk due to his age. He asked for help and the associate just looked at him and asked him what does he want her to do. There was a wheel chair in the same area they were at. My friend went and grabbed the wheel chair for the gentleman to sit in to get to the customer service area and problem solved. Staff needs to be trained on customer service. read more

Worst ever. Black Friday and no extra check outs open. An hour and a half wait in line. Kohls you just lost my sale and business.

I ordered two kitchen counter stools online ($200) and was told that they could hold them an extra two days waiting for our arrival from out of state they said they would do it and then they did not and returned the stools that were pre-paid for they could not hold him an extra day ridiculous. So I will go elsewhere to buy the stools. read more

I have been to this Kohl's a few times. The first time I went there was a bad experience the cashier was rude and because some nice lady in front of me didn't want her $10 cash reward handed it to me..I was like there are good people so I went back few times to shop here and when you walk in they greet you. Today 9-13/14 I shop with 3 of my 4 j=kids and I have the cashier in the next lane calling my child wild and disciplining my kids. I was one too busy keep track of my kids and the cashier I had was nice. But because of this rude girl cashier I will not be back to shop at Kohls and not recommend this store. read more

Spent about 45 minutes in the store looking around & found my son a new pair of Sketchers. Got to the checkout line & was 2nd in line with 3 cashiers helping customers. They took the man in front of me as I continued to wait. One of the cashiers finished up & walked away through the store as I was standing there. A little irritated but thought maybe she had a break coming. 2nd cashier finished with the man that was in front of me & walks away, while I'm standing there. Ok, that was too much, I was very upset. So I left my son's 65.00 Sketchers setting on the floor where I was standing in line & left the store. I proceeded to call the manager from the parking lot. She was very apologetic. I told her I was calling so that she could speak to the cashiers & let them know how angry this makes customers. I also told her that I shop at Kohl's a lot & do my Christmas shopping there. I told her that I am very stubborn and I will never be back to that store, ever. I believe that Florida is a good service state & everywhere I have been, from grocery stores to gas stations to department stores to schools & restaurants, everyone has gone above & beyond to make sure their service is above & beyond.
