The employee named Amber was ABSOLUTELY USELESS!! I asked her for a fitting room after looking around for an employee in the area. She paged for help, and I waited for about five minutes before going towards her again for help. She shrugged her shoulders and said "I already paged someone?". I then asked her if she could page again since no one has come to help, which she did. I proceeded to wait about 5-10 more minutes hoping for someone to let me into the fitting room. After waiting, I go back up to Amber and ask if she can do something else, like find the key or the employee who is supposed to help. She proceeds to tell me that she already paged for them, and didn't offer an alternative. I asked her again if she could do something as I was tired of waiting. An off the clock employee suggested that she call the manager Julie. Amber basically shrugged her shoulders and said that she already paged for someone. The off the clock employee went and found Julie for me and got me access into the fitting room. The entire time Amber was standing around, eating M&Ms, chit chatting with the other worker, and playing with customers babies, instead of helping me or doing anything productive. She was absolutely rude and didn't care about helping me in the slightest. A 5 minute Walmart trip turned into a 30 minute trip because Amber was too lazy to find someone to help me. read more

Not a bad place but selection is smaller, being a smaller super center.very convenient when you don't want to have to leave Dunlap.

If you need to do a quick run in and out it's ok. I would not shop in here if it's going to take you a awhile. The staff - although a couple people were very nice- most encountered are monotone, and some even rude. This is pre-COVID. Pharmacy employees worse. I changed my pharmacy due to attitude problems - best decision ever. In March 30- Gov Lee proclaimed lock down due to COVID. The employees and supervisors on duty as well as some they brought in might as well of been the military the way they were Screaming and barking at people, I had a horrible experience and it wasn't just me, I had a few friends and read dozens of reviews elsewhere about how they were treating people- total mental stress from that place. They should have brought in the National Guard - they would have kept the order and still treated people with respect which did not happen. Also some products even ore COVID never got restocked. Every time I'd go in to get something - gone for weeks. Lastly I went in there one more time the other day- made it through a whole shopping trip until a worker in a mask stopped me and told me if I was looking for self check out it was right here, needless to say I was at self check out LOL! I said yes mamn I knew that- she got disgruntled, spoke to a co-worker right in front of me, and said something along the line of "some people...". I've spent thousands in there - never again. All due to employee attitudes. I now shop OUT OF TOWN- lesson learned. read more

Today is Friday January 19. 2018 My grand children and I went to the Dunlap Walmart for a few items. The shopping was ok. The checkout was a nightmare. Only 2 registers open. I do not do self check out. The little guy who checked us out at the very last register, looked like he could not see the items we bought to scan them. Then when I paid there were some young guys behind us and the cashier started acting like we were ignorant. I am an educated woman and didn't appreciate how he was acting. He was laughing like we didn't know what we were doing. First, you people need a few registers open on Friday night, second that young man was smart acting and I didn't appreciate how he acted. I didn't catch is name but he was young and on the last register before the pharmacy, I didn't appreciate how he made me feel. read more

This Wal-Mart sucks I only go here when I have to. They never have anything in stock and their produce looks like it is a month old. I prefer the one in hixson or soddy. read more

Ok we all know that Wall Mart sucks. No news there. However when the Wall Mart specifically has higher prices and less selection because their seclusion from the rest of civilization allows them to price gouge, that's just crap. If you're in Dunlap, Wall Mart is about the only place to shop, but if you can, steer clear. read more

More often than not there are items that are out of stock. Don't plan to get in and out of the store quickly as they often only have 1 or 2 lines open, though if you are ok using the self check out it you will get out quicker. Most of the staff there are helpful and friendly, but like any place you have those few who are miserable and hate their jobs. I have not used the pharmacy there but they are helpful if you have a question about an over the counter medicine. read more

I wemt to get a money order for 750 dollars to pay my rent the lady supposedly was gonna print my money orser but failed to plug machine up it charged my bank card but no money order was printed they failed ro put my momey back on my card and told me to call my bank so really???I am gonna have to call my bank n worry about it myself although they made rhe mistake needless to say i couodnt pay my rent because the bank is closed so ik out 750 dollars i have no proof it didnt print the money order read more

Personally, I find this Walmart Friendly. If You ask them a question they will try to help You. To me this Walmart tries its best, it is a small Walmart so, selection is not as great as the larger ones, but I prefer it as is a break from the big city. read more

The only thing bad about this store is it's not a superstore, but for it's size it's got just about anything you need. The employee's are much more friendly and helpful than in Chattanooga. I have had no problem finding good fresh products. This is one of my favorite place's to shop. read more
