I shopped at Goodwill Shelbyville today. I've been there many, many times before. I shop for myself…read moreand others. Well I'm not sure if I will continue to. Employee's have always been so nice. I didn't recognize any one today. I didn't see any handicap Employee's. The ones there now aren't very respectful of customers. I had to push a oversized 2 drawer metal filling cabinet out, too heavy for me to lift. Not one Employee offered to help, even after I paid. I was in line behind 2 full carts only registere open so I thought. After being in line for a while, witch I was ok with until I saw people who I thought were customers standing around up front. Then several people were coming to the front with merchandise. Well my mistaken identity of customers were actually store employees. The manager came to one of the other checkouts. She and the employee argued about how to ring up a large purchase of books. Anyway I'm ready to put my purchases up on the counter. An employee calls over to me to see if he can check me out. I replied maybe before I stood in line so long, and no thank you. I asked the manager did they stop letting customers know when a register was open. I said it was always nice. I wanted to say, especially if you can't tell employees from customers, I didn't. The manager just said oh well, as she lifted one shoulder and walked away. Didn't even care to kindly answer a question. I'm not looking to get anyone terminated, just need to see respectful employees. You know I could've been injured getting that heavy cabinet. I'm a senior citizen who wants to be active while she still can.

The staff is super friendly, compassionate and make you feel like family. Lisa, the owner and head pharmacist, is amazing. She has gone above and beyond for her customers to the extent that should be recognized and honored. This pharmacy delivers medication everyday to those who are homebound or have no transportation for free. They have been serving our community for decades so they have integrity. They also sell specialty items and have an old fashioned soda shop. I just can't praise them enough, because they're not just a business like a chain store. They truly care and make you feel like family. Thank you for making me, and all of us, feel special!

Shelves were overflowing and in some aisles, items were on the floor. The Associate working the register was friendly, welcoming me in and wishing me a good day upon exit. Their deli folks were very friendly and helpful in what to get that day. They let you select the width of the cut. The deli meats I got were fresh. I love their choices of potato salad. At the registers, things went smoothly. I'm usually the one who picks something that apparently isn't in the coding schemes but I didn't have any mishaps here.
