We popped in, as most tourists do, in search of snacks and drinks for our couple night stay. We ended up here twice during our 3 days and each visit was standard. The store, like many Walmart locations, was busy. And like most other locations, they lacked the appropriate amount of open registers to eliminate long lines and congestion in the main aisle. Self check was open, but the staff was lacking there as well. The store was in decent condition and clean for a Walmart. Overall, standard visit to Walmart, especially one in a tourist town. We got what we needed each visit, so nothing too much to complain about.

We snuck in here to look for a snow globe for my daughter she always brings one back home from every place we travel to as a memento of the trip. We hadn't seen one anywhere else so we were sweating it lo and behold on one of the shelves stood the cutest mini snow globe complete with little black bears so stinking adorable and exactly what we were looking for! The shop has a myriad of items ranging from Knickknacks to apparel to toys. On a regular day you could spend a good amount of time in here just looking at all the items on both floors. I definitely recommend a visit here if you're in town!

From what I understand Blue Ridge is a part of what is known as the greater Appalachian Mountain Range that spans from Georgia all the way up the coast to Pennsylvania... From Atlanta it's about 250 miles on up here if you live in the downtown area. It's a popular tourist area with rental cabins and loads of gift shops. I've been coming up here since I was kid. It's a popular destination in the fall for bus load of kids from school or various youth groups to come up here to visit the apple orchards. They also have lots of fall activities such as hay rides, pumpkin patch, corn maze and of course bonfire and ghost stories!) It's a lot of fun to get out here away from all high tech activities and just enjoy the fresh air and talk to the locals. The area is known for good fudge, coffee and BBQ. Everywhere you go there is a BBQ place and all the shop owners are super approachable and friendly to tourists because most of the people that come in are tourists.... We stopped at this place while visiting blue ridge & since I love Antique stores, I was curious to…read morego inside & see what I could find. I must admit I was not impressed at all while inside. Not that many good or interesting finds, & most spots seemed a little messy. The only thing I found was a metal art of Wonder Woman that I got for my partner. After taxes it came to $10.97. Though I thought was pricey for what the art was, I got it for him since he is a W.M big fan. Though they have a sign at the front counter when paying indicating they prefer cash, they also accept credit cards. I was ready to pay with my card on their paying system where you can swipe/tap your card, when the lady at the counter told me to wait (in a not too friendly way) because the older gentleman needed to put it in their system via a tablet first. The parking spots around the area where this store it's located fill up pretty quick on a Saturday it seemed, so keep that in mind.
