Bakery: Ordered my daughter's 17th birthday cupcake bouquet from this location. I requested a pick up order from bakery on a Sunday at 2pm. I showed up around 1230p hoping they would be ready cause I was in the area. Luckily a really nice lady (Jasmeen) was working and was able to quickly finish the cupcakes and we were able to pick them up early. The cupcakes were vanilla with whipped frosting. The only reason I am giving this two stars, is the gentleman that passed by in happenstance to help me in the electronic section which he did not work in. There was quite literally NO ONE in electronics as I waited for 5 minutes. A very nice gentleman happened by and assisted me. The store literally looked like it had been ransacked. Nothing was stocked, nothing was put away, but what did you expect. Expecting any kind of professionalism or being well kemp at Walmart is like not expecting not to get a pie in the face from the clown. They never seem to not disappoint. Also, what is fun. Is we play the Walmart parking game. Park the furthest away you can from the store. I guarantee you. 400 open parking spaces and some idiot will definitely park right next to you. Unfortunately, multiple customers and I had to wait in the cosmetic's department for 15-20 minutes for a sales associate to unlock the makeup displays. Despite going to customer service myself and having them announce on the intercoms that customers need assistance at cosmetics, the other customers and I still waited another 4-5 minutes before we all collectively left after no service. Despite the quick and understanding conduct of the customer service department, no sales assistant or other employee came to help. Walmart Cypress - Northwest Fwy should take time out to retrain their store managers. I went today to purchase a few things and all of the Halloween things were on sale, they were ringing up full price at the register but they override the price to match what was posted on the signs. A few items were showing lower on the app (in store price, not online) and they matched 2 out of the 3 items I had. I had 2 Halloween wreaths (regular price at $22.98 showing $1.57 on the app) and an inflatable (regular price $34.98 showing for $.71 on the in store price app). I even had a Walmart employee price check on HER gadget and took a picture just to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. They went ahead and honored 2 but not the third one because Ryan said that couldn't be right?? Ryan the store manager said he wasn't going to price match it but that I could come back in a week when things would go down to 90% off and get it then or that I could purchase it online (the price was for "in store only" it was out of stock online and I showed him that. THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE CRAWLING AROUND AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! HOWEVER, I DON'T MIND SHOPPING AT THE SMALLER NEIGHBORHOOD WAL-MART STORES. THEY HAVE LESS OF A CROWD AND MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Moving Forward, the curb-side experience at this particular location was kind of cool. The guy that brought my order out to my vehicle was named Manuel. He was friendly and nice. I appreciate him for verifying my full name before he loaded my items into my truck. I gave him a nice tip for his great customer service skills and for loading my items carefully. The overall experience was great. It felt awesome to sit back and let someone else do all my shopping for me. Wait for it... However, after I arrived home with my groceries, as I was putting everything away, I noticed that my bread and hotdog buns were smashed. My containers of Quaker oatmeal were also smashed and beat-up looking. For these reasons alone, I am NOT A FAN of curb-side pickup. I don't like other people shopping for my things because I'm funny like that I guess. Is there anyone that can relate to what I'm saying? I'm absolutely careful with my breads and eggs when I am shopping. I do not like smashed bread and I appreciate my bread being bagged without other items. When shopping for myself, I inspect everything from can goods, to eggs, and so on. I was highly upset, lol. If it had not been for these mistakes, I would probably continue to do curb-side pick-up because of my busy schedule. In conclusion, the experience was nice but I will opt out of future curb-side pick-up services. I guess I will have to continue to squeeze grocery shopping into my tight schedule. I have never written review about Walmart, because I have always just taken it as they are because they are a cheap family store. They have what I need and for the price that is low even the quality is cheap. More like a super Dollar store But just remember they don't work with the online and the online have no idea what they do on site. My bad experience came in after I had ordered a battery from Walmart since they are the closest and cheapest store around for the battery at the time. Mind you that I have never have any bad experience from ordering even the items are cheaply made. But with that in mind, the battery came in without any issue, but the issue come now is how to return the old battery for the core charge. I was told by the Walmart online customer service that just take it back to any Walmart that have a auto service department so they can dispose of the bad battery according to regulation and that also that where I can get a refund to my credit card for the cord charge for the battery. Well, that is where nightmare started. I went into the Auto service department and told the customer service that I want to retune the old battery for a core charge because I have purchased the battery online from Walmart and that is what the online Customer service rep told me to do. The First customer service was very busy that I can understand but for some reason he can do a refund and he told me to go up to the front Customer service desk and ask them to do it there. Well, that department is run by a bunch of kids that really don't know what is going on, and their supervisor is not help either. They kept telling me that there is no core charge in my receipt, but they do show that Walmart charge me 30% sale tax.? That is against the law because our sale tax is only 8.25%. I ask them then why the online Customer service told me that it is on there and the local Walmart store can refund me the core charges. Well taking about been discriminated, they all looked at me as if I was from outer space and didn't understand a thing they have said, and the look from the so-called store manager is unbelievable and she is a minority herself. So, they all want to wash their hands in this matter and call the Auto department manager over to clear things up. Now it got worse because this guy apparently have no idea what his job function and how to take care customer. He said to me that he can prove that the system didn't charge me a core charge and he said he can prove it. So, he pulled up the ticket and it show the battery that I had purchased and there is no item listed as core charge, but he did say that the online system is kind of messed up because they should have shown the core charge as a listed item. But he still refuses to acknowledge that the facts are that the system lump all the charges together and he can't see it. He also doesn't know how to fix it; he keeps trying to tell me that. At this point I am really frustrated that Walmart wants to charge me 30% sales tax and tell me to go on my merry way since they don't know how to fix their system issue. Needless to say, I will never go back to the Super Dollar store that they called themselves "Walmart". I wrote to the corporate but never heard back. Talking about taking care of the customer? none, if they want to keep surviving the economy and stay competitive, they better start from their so-called management team and update them the tax code and how the online system is also their own company and not a third party. AUTO DEPT is a disorganized disaster! A 1.5 hour flat time repair on Friday afternoon Sept 27, 2024 turned into a 5 hour of taxing patience. Indian guy could not even locate my purchase record! A full menu of bookings and 1 of the 2 mechanics was allowed an outside appt. FINALLY when the bearded guy got to it, he took his time, in the end forgot to put my spare tire in car, and later as I found my air cap was also missing! One was in the clothing department she looked to be hispanic and she looked like an employee . My daughter & her friend where in the same area where I could see them but they were not directly next to me. I see the lady with her phone. It just didn't feel right immediately when I saw that I started to walk towards them and then when I did that she then grabbed her phone and put it up to her ears as of she was talking to someone or made a phone call as she saw me walking towards that way . I try not to get in my head too much about things I thought well this could've been me just looking at it wrong but that faint voice in me didn't let up. I started to talk to my kids about how I am suspicious about it to let them know and be alert and aware because I do talk to him about these things to always keep an eye out and so that's what we did and we walked up to go check out and As I was checking out, I noticed a man standing kind of a far and he's watching us . He was tall ,black and didn't appear to be having a work uniform on or working there as far as I could tell, as we're checking out and I look up and he sees that I see him and then he starts walking towards me and walks by and then says nice pants . Not sure what that was about but I assume it's because I caught him looking at us. He then walks around and goes and stands kind of back where I first saw him . He then walks over near the lingerie and he's standing in that aisle looking still . we quickly finished checking out our stuff and I told the kids that we are going to wait until we see a large group going outside to their cars and that's what we did. I thought about maybe telling employee but the problem with that is seeing as the person who originally looked to be filming us, that was an employee and I'm not even sure if that's exactly what she'. Like I said I don't know if it's a coincidence, I don't know if it was just some random Guy and some random employee. I placed a curbside order yesterday morning at Walmart on Northwest Freeway in Cypress, which was supposed to be ready at 7:00 pm. I arrived and checked in at 7:20 and was notified that my order was still being worked on and would be ready in 30 minutes. That alone was frustrating but my wait time was just beginning. I didn't actually get my order in my car until 10:47 pm!!! I waited almost FOUR HOURS for my groceries and in the meantime watched other customers come and go with their orders. There were only two young men delivering orders and I was told there were only four people inside gathering orders. I spoke to the two guys several times for updates and finally got in touch with a manager who couldn't really give me an explanation as to why my order was taking so long except that she was short staffed. I would think Walmart would hire extra people during the holiday season to avoid this kind of disaster!!!!! I finally went inside to talk to a manager, who then went to talk to another manager. I was told my order was just about ready. I returned to my car and a few minutes later got the notice that my order was ready. Yet I waited another 30 minutes for it to be brought out!!! This is completely unacceptable service and I still got no explanation to why my order took so long to be prepared and delivered to me. I felt bad for the two guys bringing out customer's orders because they were on the receiving end of frustrated people waiting on their deliveries and yet they were understanding and polite. I didn't have any cash for a tip but gave each of them a Gatorade. This was the worst customer service I've ever had and am extremely disappointed and angry over this experience!!!! So i ordered online for pickup. my item was substituted for a less expensive item. Every time I set foot into this ghetto @ss walmart, I have problems. We dropped by after having lunch, this location is a little bit away from home. I found parking right away and was greeted by some beautiful AC as soon as I walked in lol I mention this because the location I visit frequently isn't as well ventilated maybe they're trying to save on the power bill. Immediately I was attracted to the produce department I was impressed how clean it was and they had a good selection. I actually decided to purchase some groceries normally I wouldn't but I was impressed. We walked through out the store and it was like the first time I walked into my first Walmart I was engaged. They delayed my order indefinitely the day before were supposed to have an extreme freeze. I specifically ordered my grocery pickup for this reason. When I arrived I was met by the attitudes of their workers trying to get me to leave and come back. I told them this isn't something I want to do because I have a small child and we have no groceries at home in this cold weather. I've been buying my cars batteries here at the cypress Walmart since it opened for a very long time now and I have never experienced the lack and indediferent attitude from two Wal-Mart employees about the battery warranty. Infrida and the manager Hector. In the past I would buy my battery , take it home, install it and later came back with the old for a refund on the core and a partial refund by the warranty. NOW they have some machine where you have to either wait 70 minutes as I was told or come back to determine the warranty. Before they would just look at the date that's printed on the battery and determine the warranty. This is just a harassment to not honor your warranty. Not everyone can take there small amount of free time from there family to come back. Horrible service at this walmart. I will be buying my batteries somewhere else. I was denied a Covid shot by a guy at the pharmacy for not having a health insurance card, he looked like he was bothered by me asking for the shot. When it says free shot and walk ins welcomed. Oh my gosh. Ten minutes for the deli clerk to slice one pound of ham for me... How in the world is this possible? I am not even exaggerating. I am standing here writing this review while this woman takes her sweet time to cut one single pound of meat for me. Nobody else in front of me and two people behind me just plain gave up. I actually didn't even get the full pound. I didn't have patience for it. I got points 79 of a pound because I couldn't handle standing there any longer. If any Walmart executives wonder why Walmart has such a bad reputation, they should just try to shop there. The entire experience is absolutely horrible. I really tried to give them a chance, I really do. Over and over again, but when you have the same results every time you can only take so much.. I come here to this store specifically because they have a dog treat that my dogs absolutely love. So I come here for that reason alone.
