Not all hero's wear capes. I have both experienced and worked in fields which required servicing a customer and attending to their needs. Never before however, have I experienced such exceptional amazing customer service as I did today during my routine shopping. I was on the drinks aisle looking for a particular drink but couldn't find it. Sharaie, the department manger, who was causally working and having a pleasant conversation with another woman on the aisle, suddenly asked me what I was looking for. Honestly it threw me off guard because I had never been asked before by someone there usually I would have to ask them, nothing negative, it just impressed me that she noticed. I explained that I was looking for Mr. Barqs RootBeer , Barqs was my go to. Ms. Sharaie began to descend from her ladder and started looking for the drink when she couldn't find it she told me she would go check the back! Even after I reassured her that it was fine she went out of her way to please and went anyway. When she came back, they really were out, but it was ok, I left happy and impressed. (Besides I had Mr. Pibb) It was about two aisle laters whenever I realized my phone was missing! Now I'm a millennial so we all know how quickly my heart started beating! Not to mention I had cash, my ID, and my debit cards in the back of the phone!! I quickly ran back to the aisles in a panic, trying to retrace my streps! Ms. Sharaie noticed me and once again, asked to be of assistance. I explained to her what happened and she immediately sprang into action ! She took my number and called my phone for me and phoned into customer service to ask if anyone had found a cell phone! Of course no one had turned it in so Ms. Sharaie and a few other women who worked there (whose names I did not get but I appreciate as well) began searching all the aisles and even getting down on their knees to look through them! Finally Ms. Sharaie was able to locate my phone at customer service! She came over running with it in the air sharing my happiness! I couldn't do anything but hug her and cry because I really don't know anyone who would do so much to make me feel valued! She even offered me water and didn't want me to leave right away because I was shaking! (I'm dramatic I know) If I found out this way, I know her coworkers and manager, Mr. Lorenzo Modesto, knows even more than myself, how great she is! I just really wanted to express my gratitude and say The Colony Walmart has AMAZING team members with big hearts which is something I value as a customer and I will continue to spend my money at this particular location! There are many Walmart's as we all know but excellent custome service not as much. Once again thank you SO VERY MUCH for a great experience that could have ended very badly for me! read more
