At one point in time I did not appreciate this Walmart but that was a long time ago and now I really love this Walmart. My family and I go to this Walmart frequently and we love it very much. I appreciate the low prices and the wonderful employees who work at this Walmart. One time I was actually waiting in the car for my family to return from shopping in Walmart. I had to use the restroom and I ran into Walmart to use the restroom. I came running inside the store and I saw an associate and said that I had to use the restroom and all that he said was that they were over to the left. I'll never forget how kind and understanding that Walmart team member was. Thank you all those wonderful team members who work at this Walmart. You each make the world a better place. read more

Bottom Line: It's Walmart..... ........but as Walmart's go, this one is a pleasure to shop. The parking lot is newish and clean. The aisles are wider than other Walmart's. I had an absolutely amazing experience with the store manager Kevin. My best friend and I were in the walmart today before our beach trip and unfortunately two different male workers made inappropriate comments to us. We did not take this lightly, especially as my best friend is a minor. We immediately went to customer service and Kevin made us feel heard and supported and quickly addressed our issue. I called so many times. One of the first few times a lady picks up then hung up. I had to drive all the way here and gamble with weather or not they have what I'm looking for. Good thing is I found it. However it was very irritating that they couldn't pick up after I called so many times. I have been here a few times now and have had a pleasant experience each time! I've always been able to get a closer parking spot to the front (if you care about that kinda thing), the employees are friendly and helpful, and they always have their shelves stocked in any department I have visited. I have been to this store several times and it has always been clean with the shelves in good order. This store seems to have a little bit more products to choose from than other Walmarts. The fishing section has a lot of products and the shelves have NOT been ransacked. I even found some fishing containers that I have not seen in awhile at other stores. I can always rely on this store to have in stock what I am there to buy. Also the subs they make in the Deli are the best in town, except I take out the lettuce on the Italian one. I really liked this Walmart for its customer service. Everyone in the store is so kind & helpful & pleasant. However, a few months ago the switched to self serve registers. There are only ever 1 or possibly 2 cashiers if any. I'm guessing the decline in the number of employees around is the reason that panhandling in the parking lot has become excessive. I called to notify the manager, but when I told the employee answering the phone they brushed it off & put me on hold for an eternity before I finally gave up. read more

Went to the Cocoa Walmart late this evening to get some things for work this week. Parking lot was a disaster with trash and carts everywhere (in addition to the two employees that walked in with me, neglecting to even... Maybe... Grab a cart and bring it in with them, or maybe grab some trash?). In front of the store is a large group of employees smoking away, just outside the entrance. I thought it was a pretty good photo op of how Walmart employees work, so I took a picture. Outside, in public. Of people smoking in public. Onto shopping... I start filling my cart in produce, and am immediately asked by an employee "what the fuck you taking pictures of?" Responded with "people not working". The employee had a friend that was apparently not an employee tell me to "leave the store or I'll fuck you up". I ignored them and continued shopping. 10 minutes later at the opposite end of the store, I'm greeted by Mr. "fuck you up" and apparently the store manager. Manager says I'm about to be arrested for "taking pictures outside" which is "illegal". I didn't want to deal with the idiots, so I just left. He did a cute job of following me out to my car though... Bonus points for that. I'll go to Target tomorrow, where I won't have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke from employees when entering the store. Do NOT shop here. So ive read the reviews from other ppl and I totally disagree. Im from Miami. Im only up here staying w my sister. We went there at midnight and didnt leave for 2 hours. They were fully stocked and so nice! Like literally every associate i walked by said hi and offered to help us. Let me tell you the walmart in miami no one says hi to us. the only regular register that is open at all times is register 3 because thats where they have the cigarettes and other smoking products. if there is ever another register open it is always ran by a very RUDE older woman, who I have had several issues with and when I said something to management nothing was done. one of my last problems with her was about 2 weeks ago, she told me her lane wasn't open as she was TAKING DOWN the lane closed sign and then proceeds to take people. when I go into her lane she tells me she isn't open and can't take me, which at this time the light is on indicating she is open. again I said something to management and NOTHING was done. before anyone says: why didn't you just use self checkout?.....well they don't take WIC or cash at self checkout so theres no other choice, but a regular register.....another thing is that they have so many employees walking around not doing a damn thing, when they can clearly open more registers....Walmart please answer this question for me: how can ya'll start up this whole in-home delivery, where people let stranges inside their homes to put away groceries, but ya'll can't keep the shelves stocked or have more registers opened?! read more

Went to the Cocoa Walmart location this morning, and all I can say is WOW! The store was clean, there were several employees stocking shelves, many of whom were friendly and upbeat, the parking lot was clean of garbage and carts, there were plenty of carts and baskets available in the store, and they even had a new automated gate leading into the grocery section of the store from the front. Overall a very pleasant experience. Major improvement Walmart, you get an A++++++ for effort, keep it up! read more

This is my local WM, so we go here quite often, but, geez is it lousy. Shelves go unstocked for days at a time. I've been in there when there is nothing/zero/nada in a particular area -- it's all gone! The worst part is the employees. A few of them are great. Friendly, helpful, attentive ... but then there's people like the customer service supervisor, Natalie with a bad attitude, with whom I interacted with today, who really pissed me off. Rude bitch too busy talking with her co-worker to say jack to me. "Customer service" should not be in her job title. More like "customer-go-away" representative. To top it off there's the Goodwill-reject employees at the door treating everyone who leaves like a shoplifter, demanding to see your receipt even after they JUST WATCHED YOU GOING THROUGH THE CHECK-OUT LINE. read more

One can bash Walmart all one cares to but you'll keep coming back...we all will. You can't not shop at a store that has almost everything under one roof. From a bag of mulch to a steak. From a Barbie to a Peanut Buster Parfait at the Dairy Queen inside...it's got it all. Yes, you'll have to stand in a line 7 people deep because only 2 of the 72 registers are open and those 2 cashiers will be highly unmotivated to serve you but just think of that satisfying feeling you'll have as you get stopped by the security guard on your way out because you have a pack of waters in your cart and you flash that receipt that shows you paid for it...sweet victory! One reason for the very low rating is I just got done calling this store 3 times in a row and have not spoken to anyone! It just kept ringing not even a recording . How do you allow employee to lie on a customer get them trespassed from this store and never once look at the cameras to back up his story and the story of his co worker. Call the police and get treated like a criminal. For saying you cussed out said employee that you never ever had a conversation with or even close enough to see them to even get a description of what this employee looks like. Is this Walmart policy to had good paying customers that frequent this store almost on a weekly basis? I have many employees hug me when they see me. Also help a cashier that was having a issues with their sugar dropping. Buy them out of my own pocket a orange juice to help them bring their sugar back up. This is what I do for people. Not lie have them trespassed out of a store on lies. This matter needs address immediately and this employee needs to be looked at very closely. Don't bother yourself with online pickups at this store!!! Ordered an item the day before and it was ready to pickup that night. Went the next day at 1130 am and waited 26 minutes ...kept pressing the button , 6 employees asking " have you have been helped yet". Finally I called the front desk on my cell 3 TIMES over a 6 minute time frame to get someone back there! Some assistant manager finally came...Oh were are very sorry , short one person today...blah , blah blah. Right... you wasted 30 minutes of my time! Store pickup is not supposed to be painful experience. I could or ordered it on AMAZON and saved the drive and for a cheaper price stayed at home a got it the next day! They didn't have an item I was looking for in pet dept. Quinton asked if I needed help and went to the back to see if they had it. They didn't so I finished shopping and left. I was almost to my vehicle in parking lot when Quinton ran out to tell me he had found some. This is a perfect example of an employee who is promoting your image of being friendly and helpful.
