The pharmacist is great. The front counter clerks, self checkout staff and checkout staff are all nice and helpful. Two things that drive me nuts... The pre sliced Boars Head deli meats are consistently empty. Also, it seems like when they make rotisserie chickens the timing is all over the place. Plus they make what seems like one original and way to many sweet peach heat and mojo. read more

I always find myself grabbing their sandwiches for lunch and their mixed fruit bowls. Their sandwiches though, totally worth a visit. The staff is always friendly and they have all the normal groceries you would expect. I like the deals they have right when you walk in. read more

Publix Super Market - Great selection of decent wine - Grocery Near Me - Cocoa Beach, Florida

Such a long line to get Publix subs on a beach day. The stressful part was that there signs were wrong in store. They had a BOGO sign for an item and rang them both up as full price. We told them about the sign and they just said that the sign was wrong. I would have thought that Publix would honor their mistake but I guess not at this location read more

Walked into the store, seemed a little bit on the older side. We were looking to pick up a couple of small things real fast and turned around and walked out. The prices were off the charts. read more

it saddens me to write this about the Publix sandwich counter but this seems to be an ongoing issue. 1) please don't train employees during rush hour, customers don't need to suffer though this while waiting for their food. 2) take the sandwich order once & commit it to memory, don't chat & giggle with coworkers then ask 5 times what toppings do I want. 3) if a customer asks for chicken cutlet please don't laugh & tell your pal "I think he means chicken tenders." 4 ) come to work & leave your personal issues at the door. condescending attitude, nastiness towards customers should be grounds for dismissal. This is not rocket science, this is making sandwiches behind a counter, not hard to get personal with these abilities. read more

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

Last night someone stole my wife's bicycle at Publix. She asked Publix to see the video but Publix said only the police could see ot. So she called the police. When the police got there Publix would not allow the police to see video. We will never go to this Publix again. read more

Publix hardly ever disappoints, though I have had issues with specific things in the past. In any case, ordered a birthday cake for our upcoming visit and went to Publix to pick it up; however, we went to the wrong Publix! The person who helped us in the bakery was very nice. He said that people get the two Publix's mixed up quite often, specifically since they are on the same road. He proceeded to call the other Publix to make sure they had our order, which they did! LOL. Great customer service, which we certainly appreciated! read more

Every time we're in Florida we shop at Publix. Good selection of fruits and vegetables, meats, dairy etc. The stores are very clean, well lit and just about everywhere in the state. If you shop at Kroger or Albertsons or other large markets you'll feel right at home at Publix. read more

Please note this review is ONLY on the visit we made for sushi. We love the $5 sushi roll deal on Wednesday at Publix. They have vegetarian option that isn't bad at all. I do wish they had more than 1 vegetarian option - like maybe even 1 without rice. When you get the sushi - the seaweed salad is a must! read more

So there is an app for your phone called Fetch Rewards where if you scan any type of receipt and you are rewarded cash. We scan every receipt we can. While in Publix in Cocoa Beach we went through the self checkout and there was quite a few receipts in the trash cans. These receipts become abandoned when the person leaves them and they are trash. An employee named Evelyn got extremely mad when she saw us in the trash and ripped the trash can out of my husbands hands and said we could not use them. They are trash, they choose not to shred them. They will end up in a land fill eventually so what is the big issue? We will never go back to this store. They need to establish protocol for the abandoned receipts and teach Evelyn some people skills read more

Clean grocery store. Has everything you need. Was open late New Years Eve. Very friendly staff! Highly recommended.

I just want to say thank you to the bakery department to making my 10th anniversary cake for myself and my husband today. It was what we got there 10 years ago today and it was just as good now and it was then! It was beautiful and so delicious! We'll be doing it again for our 20th anniversary for sure! read more

Great local grocery store with everything you need. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They always greet you while in the store. Staff assist cashiers with bagging your groceries and will help you to your car if you need assistance. Store is always clean and stocked. Very kind. Always clean . Great selection and their staff goes out of their way to make you feel happy.

We were staying at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanside and decided to "load up" on goodies, like tea, lemonade, candy and crackers, fruit and sushi for supper! My daughter and I devoured the sushi that evening, it was so fresh and tasty; we loved it. Everything was easy to find, the cashier was friendly; and, the store is super clean. Parking is a breeze, with easy access from the Banana River Causeway and US A1A. We couldn't have been more happy with our shopping trip. read more

Awesome new beautiful publix! The first time i have seen self checkout! I hope my hometown Publix gets a remodel like this, soon!

Hooray for publix for standing for the possibility of making it safer to shop at the store. Taking children to go grocery shopping should not be a dangerous trip but please take a step to help the environment. Your plastic packaging is literally killing the environment . read more

Worst Publix I've ever been too. Still gets two stars because, well, it's still a Publix. It's set up opposite of most I've been to, making it hard to find things. Produce section is small. The staff is friendly, when you can find someone. The store itself looks old and is really needs a makeover. The standard things Publix will do for you if you ask, like breaking a package or a custom cut, it is nearly impossible to get this store to do. I have asked for a custom order at many other locations with no problem or hesitation. This store just doesn't want to follow the Publix way. Sad. I just pass this one to get to the second closest Publix now that's in cape canaveral. read more

Always a fan of Publix. This store is no exception. The store has recently been remodeled and you sure can tell. The store is much more open and bright. Love the added salad bar area. Also like how the food is presented in the deli section. Bakery will amazing as did the sushi. The concern as is with most is the deli section. Always a long long and not enough help. Loved the self checkout lines. Good Bogo's for the bench area. I know we will be returning here. read more

Publix Super Market - Good. Food inside - Grocery Near Me - Cocoa Beach, Florida

Worst Publix deli ever. Always under staffed. Even before no one wanted to work. It takes forever to get your orders. Online orders are usually late and not made until you show up and ask where they are. I've been shopping at this publix for over 30 years. Ever since the remodel it's gone downhill fast. It seems like it is now a training store. The management appears to change every couple of months. read more

Clean and big store the lady in the bakery gave us an attitude and was rude needs to work on her customer service skills if not don't work at a grocery store . We always love shopping at Publix but definitely won't ever go ask for anything at the bakery disappointed. Good thing we don't live around here read more

So I went to this Publix 2 more miles down the road after my experience at the Cornerstone one where a cashier picked her nose while checking out my groceries. I called ahead and Yay they have self check out and they said it would be okay for me to go through with my big order. It was the first time I had been grocery shopping in 2 weeks. It was a most unpleasant experience though. I waited in line and the attendant of the self check out was very annoyed that I was going to check out my basket full of groceries instead of going in the line with the cashiers. Half of the self checkouts were closed. I had $420 worth of groceries in my cart. I was willing to take the time to check them out myself. And bag them myself. I requested for him to get me another cart and while he was doing that a Publix employee went to one of the self checkouts, sneezed into her hand, and then used the keypad. I spoke to her about it, and she just looked embarrassed, as well she should. I asked the attendant then to wipe down the self checkouts. Again he is annoyed. It was very stressful, And I know it is very stressful for your employees. But I do think there needs to be some educational programs for them or they should wear something over their mouth and nose. It may prevent them from putting their hands there. And they should respect the fact that people are trying to be so careful to not spread this and to not get this Covid. I had on a mask and had Lysol wipes for everything. I am 62 years old and I have asthma but otherwise I am in good shape. I take care of myself. However, I watched my dad die of lung disease and that is my worst fear. I will not be put down by an uneducated grocery worker. These two stores are in Cocoa Beach, Florida. I live here permanently. I hope I don't die here. read more

Nice grocery store. Very clean, good layout with excellent parking. Price was reasonable.

I'm pretty sure they put their slowest cashier at the express lanes. This location could use an update. Section is a little lacking. Head north on A1a a couple miles for a better Publix. read more

One of the sweetest folks work at this particular Publix. I tell them when I come in that they are simply an extension of my beach apartment! But towards the back between the hot meat department guys and one of the most knowledgeable seafood women that knows more the Ariel herself from The Little Mermaid reside is this very unhappy sushi chef who is the worst excuse with an attitude that makes me want to put him on a "Time Out" every time I see him. The rice is never cooked all the way, lacks the sweetness from the rice wine that is suppose to give sushi that unique Yin/Yank uniqueness. Yet, the people in Brevard not only buy it...but EAT IT!!! Some of my neighbors found out I was a chef and YES..sushi and I go way back to the early 80's when it became chic to put what was once in your kids fish tank, wrap it in what contains the mot minerals on the planet earth, add short grain rice with a sweet rice wine, use to wooden sticks and mmmmm. Depending who rolls it, is how this roll is accessorized. As respectful as I am greeting him by acknowledging him as "Chef" dread every time my friend Gina asked me to stop their and purchase this 1/2 cooked, tasteless, twisted disaster. read more
