Good, clean store with friendly staff everywhere, especially the deli. My only comlaints are the wacky parking lot and the odd, congested entrance to the store where there's not enough room for the people leaving and the people entering sometimes. Probably the slowest service I've ever received from any customer service ever. We went in for a sub/sandwich at the Deli Station. There was only 4 person in front of us. It took 35 min for them to serve us. Lynn and Matthew, probably not the best station for slow reaction service. They had no care in the world, slow movements for every single ingredient. Lo & behold vegan has gone mainstream. I went vegan 5 miles from this Publix location in Cocoa Beach more than 18 years ago & am so happy that the movement has come a long way since then. Supply & Demand. There is a Demand & thank you Publix for stocking the Supplies. Publix has a great selection of produce in both organic & conventional assortments. I am all for eating lots of produce w/ fruits & veggies making up a big part of my diet yet after the foundation is set it is nice to branch out. Besides having produce dialed they have heaps of vegan cheese including many selections of Follow Your Heart, Daiya, & Chao Vegan Cheese. They probably stock more than a dozen selections of vegan cheese in various assortments & for a moment I thought I was at a fromage shop gone vegan in Paris. I picked up the Follow Your Heart Pepperjack vegan cheese slices. There was jack fruit, tempeh, tofu, Field Roast, & more. I picked up some Bobo Oat Bars, Beanitos Corn Chips, Daiya Supreme Vegan Pizza, & even some non-dairy vegan ice cream courtesy of Ben & Jerry's who has a new line of vegan ice cream. Even the vegan ice cream selection here is dialed w/ nearly as many vegan ice cream flavors as Baskin-Robbins. The vegan ice cream they had was Ben & Jerry's, So Delicious, Toffuti, & Coconut Bliss. On the ethnic food aisle they had some Gochujang which is a Korean spicy red paste. Yes, In the year 2017 I was amped to return to the Space Coast of Florida where I lived from the ages of 9 to 21 to find so many awesome vegan items under one roof that would rival a natural foods store back in the day. Hats off Publix & thanks for stocking plant powered food, supplying the good stuff to Floridians along w/ to a former Floridian East Bay rooted Californian stopping by on a visit. Supply & Demand. Publix is a higher end grocery store. The employees are always pleasant and helpful. The store is fully stocked with everything you expect in a grocery store. The meats and produce are high quality. I like their sushi for a grab and go type meal, also the subs are quite good. read more

Store has a great location with awkward parking. The staff however is where they cut corners, they took this approach from the top down. I had a serious encounter with one of their managers, I'll amend this when I have specific names and titles. What I can say is I didn't come to Publix for a physical confrontation, their employee almost caused a major accident on their way to work(me : on my way to store). I was shocked to see a Publix manager had been driving like that on his way to work, I'm not sure what his intentions were or his motivations but I definitely don't want somebody with that type of temperament interacting with me or my family. read more

I love Publix where shopping is a pleasure. I've been a Publix shopper my entire life and the store on 125 E Merritt Island Cswy is one of the best stores I've shopped at. Always friendly, smiling faces, premier customer service, and shelves generally full. I'm most impressed with the deli department. The deli employees always appear to work together and work hard, especially with the volume of customers coming in and online orders too. I'm just grateful those employees show up and work hard each day. Sometimes there's a line but who minds, it's worth the wait. The hot foods case is always delicious & fresh, Pub Subs are amazing and a new one on sale each week, the deli clerks ask how you want the meat & cheeses sliced, the grab and go selection is usually very well stocked. Overall I give 5 stars to the deli employees & managers alone!! They work very hard, helpful & knowledgeable, always try to accommodate any special requests or orders. Stopped in to purchase a gift card, this location is one of the nicer Publix stores in the area or possibly on the east coast of Florida, extremely nice lighting a restaurant sitting area and the front of the store with its giant covered area is beautiful. This should be the new design standard for any new Publix store. read more

I had the most pleasant experience at Publix on Merritt Island Causeway this morning! My encounter began before I ever arrived at the store. I unknowingly called before the store opened and was met with the most cheerful team member, Natalie. I expressed to Natalie what my needs were and she said they would be happy to oblige. Upon entering the store I was met with another joyful greeting by Manager Brad. He was not only nice to me, I noticed that he checked on his staff members to make sure they were okay. As I walked towards the department I needed I was met with a "good morning" and big smile asking how he could help me before I could utter a word. Jared was awesome! He took such care with my order and was very accommodating throughout my visit. My last encounter was with Janice my cashier, she asked me how I was doing and wished me well with my event today. Jared loaded my items and sent me on my way with the same energy I was met without throughout my Publix experience. I will definitely be back! read more

The only good thing I can about this Publix is the Deli. They give fast, courteous service and the prices are reasonable. Also, I have no complaints about the pharmacy. The grocery department is a different story. The people that work on the floor are rude. I was looking for an item and the grocery clerk pointed and told me to walk down the main aisle and look to the right. She didn't give me an aisle number and I had to ask a second grocery clerk. He seemed to have a better handle on customer service and brought me to the item I was looking for. I understand from 2 of the employees that work there that they are over-worked and under-paid. The scheduling is not conducive for an employee to give 100%. Their schedules are terrible. One day it may be 3 p.m. until 11:00 p.m and the next morning they are expected to be 100% on their game at 7:00 a.m. Not good. They should have fixed schedules. I think fixed schedules make sense. read more

What is it about every Publix in Brevard County that they never cook the sushi rice all the way or add that delicious sweet sushi wine that gives sushi that distinct sweet flavor. Bad enough that they are so cheap that 75% is 1/2 cooked unflavored rice with the minimum of what has to be the very cheapest ingredients and charge what a 4 star sushi restaurant charges! read more

This is the closest Publix Grocery Store to our house. We normally don't come to this Public as the parking lot is very poorly designed. The store itself is fine and they have very good subs. Like other Publix they have s deli and a great in-store bakery. The staff is very friendly and they always ask if they can take your groceries to the car and they don't allow tipping. The store is always spotless. They have a good meat department and will cut your meat to order. I just wish they would re-do the parking lot. read more

Friend just spent 50 dollars on a gift card and they didn't bag it. What happened to putting it in a paper bag? Anyway they very shortly realize (like walked out-didn't reach the car- barely out the door- walk back in fast) they don't have it and publix is 0 help! They don't even offer to check the security cameras for their customers? The next customer could have stolen it/ your employee could have snatched it and you have it all on video. Thanks for not even having the compassion to take 5 minutes to check your cameras to even find out what happened. You guys know you have cameras over every register, you would have looked into it if you cared. I worked in customer service - this is the first thing I would have done...
