Tiffany from Bakery refused to let Dad who showed up with my 3 year old to get a 'kid cookie' for my 4 year old who was with me (mom) a couple isles down shopping. Dad/my youngest walked back to us to let us know he doesn't have a cookie and that we have to walk back to bakery to get one. What a ridiculous situation and while I understand only kids are eligible for these cookies; if a parent accompanied by a child shows up, please help them out. They're most likely spending 300 on groceries and don't have time for bakery nonsense. Gosh, if a homeless person shows up with no child, please Tiffany, find the decency to be human and act as such. If you want a terrible sub, come to the Publix on north courtney parkway! As of the last month or two they have repeated destroyed what used to be such perfect sandwiches. The amount of knowledge or should I say lack of, has gone down hill! I am an avid pub sub getter, and I must say the quality has been terrible! The people that actually know what they're doing are now in the back of the house, and the beginners are in the front. If you know anything about Publix subs, there is always a line! You should have your go to sub guys/girls making these subs. They are so sloppy, it is almost not edible. I continue to go back time after time because it is the most convenient store to my house, but time after time, my wife, kids, and family are completely unsatisfied. The guy making my wrap today, didn't even tuck the edges in, he's literally never folded a wrap in his life, why is he there? The toppings literally fall out of the sides because basic common sense was lost. Publix. I'm begging and pleading with you, as well as everybody else that sits in line and watches this disastrous situation unfold, please, do better!!! Put the OG's back up front, where they so rightfully belong, so we can get back to eating these delicious subs!!! read more

Pretty legit Publix! You will find more or less the same items and sales that you enjoy at any other Publix. Same organization, stocked aisles and friendly employees. Publix always stands out for their fresh produce, they awesome deli and freshly prepared baked goods and foods. This Publix is not the exception. The lighting is kind of off though and uninviting. Other than that, I've stopped here while at lunch break or just before heading home from work and No complaints. What I learned, thought to be interesting and really appreciate is that once, I stopped at their "Sushi Bar" looking for your typical "Philly roll". Everything there was "Spicy something...spicy tuna, spicy salmon, you name it. The Sushi chef was there and he asked me if he could help. I said, "I'm good, thank you.. I was just looking for something else." He offered to make it right there and then and let me customize my roll to my liking. Waited about 7 minutes and my roll was prepared. Not even $8.00 ad I had a freshly prepared and tasty sushi roll! Definitely going back for more during lunch breaks! read more

This place is hit or miss. Most of the baggers are pretty cool but the employees at the deli and seafood section are really lacking in...well...pretty much every basic skill required to gain employment at most places. Here is a tiny bit of advice: If someone is standing at your section, waiting to order some seafood, you might want to at least let them know that you will serve them at some point in time. Also it would help to learn English. And, it is pretty damn stupid to talk ill about a customer and point at them while they are 10 feet away from you. Genius! read more

I typically shop at Publix in PSJ or Cocoa Commons. I love going to Publix's for the great selection as well as great customer care. Today, I was in Merritt Island and decided to do my shopping. Needless to say the customer care is nothing close to the quality I am used to receiving. Not only was the cashier not friendly, but the bagger literally threw my 2 gallons of milk into the top of my cart. She also placed a box of Lacroix cans on the top of my grocery items. read more

I give this Publix five stars because of the pharmacy ladies. I have never met a more caring group of pharmacists and pharmacy workers especially Margie. I passed 4 Publix locations to get my prescriptions. It is obvious that top management has excellent leadership skills because every Publix I go into the employees are very happy and they are working hard. This grocery store has a terrible meat department. They sell old ground beef by wrapping fresh ground beef around it. It looks fresh until you get it home. The chicken is usually a yellow-green color, gross. I will not by any more meat here. I will go to Canaveral Meats. I do like the BOGO deals on other products. read more

The prices are a little higher than you can get at other options on the island but I think you can expect that if you go here. The bakery is amazing and the deli is great too. Not sure about the review from 09 about the meat department but every time I have gotten meat from here it has always been great. Overall, it's a nice grocery store. Terrible service! I ordered subs today 6/24/2021 and went there to go pick them up. When I got there, no one cared to deal with me. They were too busy cleaning the back. I finally get to talk to some chubby girl with dark hair who was not wearing a name tag. I approached her and asked her if my order was ready and she told me they never got my order. I showed her my phone with the order at that location and she told me they never got the order and she doesn't have the stuff to make it and walked away. No apology, no substitution, didn't even care to bother making my subs. I understand you might not have all the stuff, but for THREE different subs? She merely looked at the phone. I always have an issue with that deli and this was the last straw. I waited for almost an hour for this lady to tell me I'm not getting my subs which was dinner for my kids. Absolutely ridiculous! This seems to be the only Publix I have had an issue with. Check your deli employees because their attitude isn't the first time. read more

We are sooo tired of not getting what we order at the deli department... Every time we ask for our meat and cheese cut thin they fight with you and hand you how they want to cut it...how many times must we get the store manage and the deli manage...it has stopped us from shopping there...and on top of it all they are arrogant about... we've lived here 30 years and all ya get is attitude they could care less...good luck read more

Publix is my favorite place to shop for food. They always have good buy one, get one deals. Today I saw they had a deal, buy one get one free for chips ahoy cookies. I picked up the cookies that were right underneath the sign. They happened to be the family pack size. When I get to the register, the cashier, MARIAH, rang up the cookies but they didn't ring up buy one get one free. I told her that the sign said it was buy one get one free. In the end, I accidentally chose the wrong size. Instead of telling me that, she gave me a nasty attitude and said "well, it's not ringing up that way!" And I reinstated what the sign said, then she said (with attitude) "I can go look for you" she rolls her eyes and storms off to get the right size. Normally I would be appreciative of her efforts, but it was done in such a bad way, and came off as completely rude and condescending. I simply made a mistake in the size and she was very rude about it. Then when she comes back, she hastily packs my food, but the gallon of milk I bought was thrown on top of a plastic bag. So I had to pick up the milk, straighten out the bag and pack it myself. Then when she hands me the receipt, she doesnt even look at me and say have a good day or anything and instead, starts conversing with a coworker. Horrible customer service. read more
