This is the worst Publix experience I've ever had! It was Sunday Feb 12. I drove FAR because I called and was told that this location had a "Great salad bar and wing bar too!!" after arriving I saw the store manager just staring leaning on a display... just standing there, not even saying hello to customers, BRO, you're the manager, I am a customer - stop acting like a teenager! Anyway, I went to the salad bar and it was completely empty, I literally thought it was closed so I asked a worker breaking down boxes "what are the salad bar hours?" and she replied, "there should be salad and wings there now but we are very understaffed" and she went back to what she was doing. So, I asked 2 young Publix workers (2 kids - girl long straight hair and a taller kid with black hair) standing in front of the deli counter if they could alert someone that the salad/wing bar was empty that I would do some shopping I planned on doing and returning for to the salad/wings bar they replied that they were going to go on break so they would do it when they returned. I've work at Publix before and I would been written up if I said I was "on break" without finding them help. So, I was just over it and as I was leaving... the manager was STILL just standing there. He had ZERO clue that his entire deli department was struggling. I told him what happened and why we were leaving and he said he would ask someone to help me... ummm aren't you the manager? I left with nothing and went to Walmart, YUP, Walmart has better service than this Publix - shocking. read more

This Publix was very relaxing to go to. You walk in and immediately feel the air conditioning, and since this is Florida, AC is gold. The only thing though was that the checkout was kind of crowded, but we eventually got there in the end. The food stock was well done, as there was still food on the shelves as opposed to when there's a hurricane. I recommend this Publix. read more

Manager was beyond rude. I'll drive out of my way to go to another store. He started barking at me in love about BOGO cookies. Never explained who he was...came over and started yelling at me that they weren't on sale even though there was a clearly stated sign. Definitely won't be coming here again. read more

Tanya in the pharmacy was outstanding ,when there were 4 other people behind the pharmacy counter without a clue. I had misplaced a portion of my asthma inhaler so it wasn't able to work. All the other people told me to call the manufacturer and resolve it myself. This was not the solution,Tanya called the insurance and called around and found it at another Publix. Great customer service. I have been a Publix customer for over 7 years and lots of prescriptions. They should all take a cue from her . read more

I have always had friendly employees in the deli section. However, several times now, I have made it to the front of the line only to have to wait an additional 20 minutes for the employee(s) to make an ONLINE order of multiple sandwiches. This policy that Publix has about fulfilling online orders in front of your customer PRIOR to taking care of the paying customer standing right in front of them needs to be changed. It's like waiting in a 20-minute-long line just to be cut in front of by a family of 4. I understand that fulfilling online orders has to happen at some point, but it would anger less customers to have multiple employees available to serve the customer who have stood there and waited in line AND then have someone else to fulfill the online orders. During my last two experiences of this occurring, I have seen multiple customers leave the line when this happens. This time, I am the customer who left the line, and I will not be returning. read more

This place has everything, enough said!! It looks brand new, clean appearance outside and inside. When you walk in, you'll see the cafe (in case you need a boost of Java), next will be the bakery, then you'll see the Deli right next to the full stocked produce section. They have a helpful staff in the produce section. Didn't get a chance to shop in the other aisles (wife and I spent all our time in the bakery and produce section), but by the looks of it...it was fully stocked. read more

I am now writing an edit and I had to take it down a star because they are going downhill just like the rest of them. It just makes me mad that every time they have the chicken tender sub special they NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TO PROMOTE IT. The last SEVERAL times I went there because that is what the site told us I had to either wait 20 minutes or I would hear that the fryer is on the fritz. I am tired of hearing excuses and if you are going to go ahead and have this as a special they should be ready and sadly they never are. Plus what made me mad was the young girl (maybe mid 30s) was always rude about it, like it wasn't her problem. I hate to break it to her but it is her problem because she is in that department. Stuff like that makes me mad! Complaining really didn't do anything because it kept happening. I just don't get it, you pose as if you are for the people and like shopping with family but you have people that work for you that don't care. The rest of the store is still fine and clean. So I am currently under going treatment for Lymphoma and have to take 6 pills, 2 hours before, my treatment. I called 2 days before needing a refill. 3 days later, not a word from Publix pharmacy. I kept waiting for a text notification. I called today and was told they had to order it. It would've been nice to get notified so I could go elsewhere. Maybe it was my fault thinking they would notify me if something was wrong. I hope they can do better in the future, or I may just be changing pharmacies. read more

Every Wednesday I look forward to the $5 sushi and poke bowl deal, however this particular location refused to honor the $5 poke discount that I look forward to every week. I usually go to a different store for this deal, however since Publix is a chain, I assumed they would have the same policy at every location. Wow! I've lived in Florida for over 30 years. This is the biggest Publix I've ever seen. The selection of food is incredible. The international section is almost a whole aisle itself and has signs denoting the country or region of the world of the products. There is a large cafe and a coffee/shake bar. I was greeted by several employees while in the store. Cashiers and baggers were plentiful and lines moved quickly. The entire store has a clean and bright appearance. read more

This is the best Publix in Brevard County. Not only do they have a great deli (with eat-in dining space) and bakery; a huge selection of fresh, packaged and frozen foods; and a well-stocked pharmacy, but they have the best baggers! I cannot stand it when bag boys (or bag girls) mix my cold and non-cold foods, put heavy things on top of soft or breakable items, or put food and non-food items in the same bag. This Publix trains their staff well, and deserves kudos. read more

This store is always nice and clean and the employees have always gone an extra step to help out. I gave only 3 stars because this Publix always has expired items on the shelves. Even in the pharmacy. I buy a probiotic from the pharmacy and the last 3 times it has been expired. Most of the times I catch it but it's become a real pain when your in a hurry and you have to check the expiration date of every item you pick up. read more

This Publix gets 4 stars because it is kind of a yuppie Publix! I do not give the prices 4 stars as I can get most items lower at other stores. But sometimes a trip to Publix is just what the Doctor ordered. I also love that a reviewer has posted a picture of Semolina Flour as I am out and want to make pasta next week. Wasn't sure if they still carried it. My trip to Publix on Tuesday was a delightful one. I glanced over the sweets and fruits and veggies. Picked out some fresh veggies for dinner. Then I was off to pick up the rest of my items. I got to checkout with my 5.00 off coupon only to find that it wasn't valid yet. Management came over and was very kind to allow me to use it anyway. Bought one of those "Coupon Books" going around. Had no idea they were dated and can only use one coupon a month. Still savings and will pay for itself eventually. Thankful to the Publix crew for taking good care of me. And one of the main reasons I go to Publix..... is to have the help out to the car...... Hard to find anymore. Makes up for the more expensive prices on items. Beautiful store and easy for me to spend an hour or 2 in there shopping for just the perfect items..... and viewing all the others that I don't need but think how I could use them in meals. :) I would recommend this Publix to anyone!! read more

Publix Supermarket has been here for a few years, so I was surprised to find it was not yet in Yelp. I have been shopping here for over 2 years now, and I can attest that they run a really tight ship. Almost everyone, with very few exceptions, is in a great mood and always very helpful. Inventory is always good, & I am always able to find exactly what I'm looking for. Although the prices are slightly higher here than they are at Target or Walmart, there are always great sales if you keep your eyes open. If you're a coupon clipper, you already know the game. Publix frequently runs buy-one get-one deals that can save you a small fortune if you time it correctly. The store is always clean, there is always ample parking, and there's a liquor store right next door in case you need that sort of thing. If you're a man who hates grocery shopping, there is a pizza joint a few stores down where you can sit outside and enjoy a slice of pizza and a beer while watching a game on TV. read more

Had to kill a star only because the deli people are sssslllloooowww. I typically order online. At first, these guys were on fire. If they said 1 PM, my order was there at 12:55. Now, it's not uncommon to be, oh, 30-40 minutes late. They're busy. Viera is growing like crazy, and swarms of crowds have invaded my tiny little hometown Publix. That's a good thing. But hire some people! Most of the people here are phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful. If you ask where something is, they won't just tell you the aisle (like Walmart), they'll walk you over and make sure it's in stock. And if there's something you want but they don't carry it, they'll get it for you and call you when it arrives. That's crazy good service. This store is fairly new, so it's still clean. There is also a small gelato/coffee stand up front, and a little eat-in area for subs, salads, soups, snacks, or their Asian hot food bar. Lo mein - mmmm. One should never shop hangry. Prices are a little heavy on some things, but mostly comparable to Target. Produce is always fresh and nicely stocked. There's even a cheese station and a wine tasting area too, although I haven't seen that open in months. And don't miss the sushi and fresh fish in the back by the meats. They will break open steak, ribs, chicken, or whatever if you want more or less in a package - all you have to do is ask. read more
