When I've purchased from other oil companies, I have to buy the spout as an extra add on. From Olives and Grapes has a special pour top included in their bottles, which is nice. read more

I Do not recommend this location!!!! It is worth the drive to Cocoa Village because of the customer service So, I ran out of vinegar and I have been waiting to go back for more well I finally did today and I was appalled. While I was there to buy a $40 bottle of my favorite vinegar I saw a sign that said 2 small bottles for $20. one bottle of Apple Vinegar and a bottle of flavored Olive Oil. I said I will take the set. The owner of the store said ohhh i don't have any boxed up yet. I said I dont need it boxed I'll just take the 2 bottles. He then said wellllll my wife did that sign and it isn't right. Each bottle is $15. I said so your not going to sell me the set???? He then said NO I'm gonna hold off on that right now. I just looked at him. I thought WOW!!! If I didnt want the vinegar so bad I would have not even bought from him. I mean who does that when you run a business. maybe it was a mistake, but as a business owner I would have said it is a mistake, but since the sign is up I will sell it to you and then take it down, was it worth future business to not sell something for the price you have it marked? Nice little store with multiple types of vinegars and olive oils. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, not real sure what all the other reviewers are talking about. It is a little pricey but that is to be expected at any specialty food store. They have so many varieties to chose from that it's had to make a decision. Left with 1 bottle of oil and 2 bottles of vinegar. Can't wait to come back. I will make a return trip when I am back in town. read more

Today the shop was packed with customers, and the two running the shop were great about helping everyone. Very friendly service and they have great products to boot. I was searching for an olive oil and balsamic store, and just happened to find this one when I was in Melbourne for a weekend. This was a great find and I felt this store carried a wide selection of flavored olive oils and balsamic compared to other similar stores. Most of the olive oils and balsamic started at $15.95. If you purchased 4 bottles they also would ship them for free. There was no sales tax either on the purchase (which was great because some states do charge). You can taste the different balsamic and olive oils before purchasing, which is always appreciated. Yes, the employees did follow me around, but it wasn't annoying. I've noticed this is a common thing at many Florida stores if they don't have security. It wasn't a huge deal to me because the employees were helpful and answered questions. They also would make suggestions incase I missed a popular flavor. If I don't make it up to Melbourne in the near future, I definitely will order online. read more

My husband and I discovered this specialty store in Melbourne. The owner provided a detailed knowledge of their numerous olive oils and balsamic vinegars. The taste combinations were amazing and the prices were reasonable. I order often from their website and highly recommend this business!! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I found out I was actually supposed to read the faq section of their website to properly understand the properties of oil and vinegar and the times that they closed, that way I could of saved all the punishment I received by the evil and torturous glares from walking in later in the day.Customer service was non-existent in this little part of the world. Such a horrible place! I walked in excited to show this great store off best friend and left in tears! My dear friend was looking for corporate gifts and walked in prepared to spend 1500 dollars in oils and vinegars, because what great gifts they could be! We entered the store and were not even greeted, yet we were the only patrons at the time, then when I began to show my friend the items I purchases the previous day (150 dollars), I was shoved by a large man, corned by a very very rude older woman and then called "ignorant." Two other Patrons who entered the store after us, sat down their items and left the store without purchasing too in shock of the OWNERS rudeness. My second visit was so sadly my last. I don't understand the experience other reviewers have had. I go to the store in Historic Melbourne regularly and have had nothing but incredible experiences. The store is so small it would be difficult to follow anyone but they are always within a few feet no matter if they are in the front or back of the store. I just received my shipment of 8 assorted flavors of oils and balsamics. I cannot wait to start experimenting with them. I was part of a group of six cruisers off the Carnival Miracle and we ventured into Cocoa Village. We all agreed that stopping at this quaint little shop was the highlight of our adventure. The kind ladies really educated us on the uses and blends of the oils and balsamics. They listened to all of our questions, answered them throughly and made suggestions here and there. I do not agree with the one reviewer who complained about the customer service. We all thought the customer service was top notch. I do not want to "just buy something", I want to be educated and know how to use what I am buying. My first venture will me balsamic glazed tenderloin and Blood Orange Olive Oil Buttercream for some cupcakes. I have to say, I have been on 7 cruises and have stopped at many ports, and this was probably one of the nicest shops I have been to. read more

My husband and I are huge flavored olive oil and vinegar fans. I was so excited when I saw the store while we were visting downtown Melbourne for lunch. Customer service was non-existent at this store. I immediately felt unwanted as I entered the shop. No greeting or explanation, just a cold, hard glare from the woman as though she was being inconvenienced by mine and my husband's visit. I assume that she must have a preconceived notion on what her clientele should look like for the store. I will admit that I had just completed a 5k, so I was not dressed as I normally would be. However, I wore my race shirt as an indicator of where I had been. Regardless, I knew that I was not welcome and told my husband I wanted to leave. I thought I got this reaction based on my appearance. But after reading other reviews, she must pick and choose who she wants to serve as customers. I would have easily spent $100 or more and been a returning customer if I would have been treated with respect. I can only wonder how much profit this store loses due to poor customer service. Tip: Hire someone who is willing to serve all customers or don't open your doors to the public. No one who sterotypes should be able to run a business in today's society. read more
