Overall, this is a good Publix if you are in the area. The staff is friendly and professional, as I have found at every Publix location. Publix definitely puts an emphasis on customer service and it definitely makes a difference. Publix is probably the most successful supermarket chain in Florida and with good reason. They offer that great customer service that I mentioned in the paragraph above, they have some great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals every week, and no review of Publix would be complete without mentioning their subs from their deli (affectionately known as "Pub subs"). Publix makes a great sub and my go-to subs are either their Italian or their roast beef and cheese. Both are great choices and I would recommend either of them. My daughter loves their chicken tender sub. All in all, I would definitely recommend here. read more

I shop at Publix mostly for the bogos. Store is clean & organized. It is a different layout than my usual Lake Wash location. They normally have what I need. The flower selection I like. The hot subs & soups as well. I get crab legs when they are on sale. I do prefer Publix vegetarian selection over Walmarts. read more

We always have had good experiences with this store but tonight after bringing pizza dough home it was wrapped wrong and folded together and tough. Guess that's what $15/hour minimum gets you. read more

Publix is the best shopping experience for your time and quality of groceries. May be a higher cost but it better quality in my opinion than other grocers! I think it's far above the other options. Seriously the best customer service I've ever had too. Beautiful layout and great foods. There's a Publix Liquors next to it and they carry the best spirits and wine , etc. Try Publix! The produce is amazing by the way! Five Stars. read more

Very fresh produce and helpful employees . All the cashiers and baggers are helpful and polite.

Love Publix. Always clean and friendly. Great selection of products and services. Locations are convenient and easy to access. I especially like the convenience of their prepared food selection. read more

I recommend management step into this publix and monitor the deli/hot foods department to look for areas of improvement. It should not take 30+ to get a sub during lunch time. Most people only have a 1 hour lunch... read more

I was verbally attacked by a rude woman and the manager was not available and the store employee took upon himself to allow the woman to continue yelling and insulting me while he continued to tell me to be quiet! I have been a loyal customer to this store for 20 years....no one cared how I was being treated! I left the store and will never do business with another Publix store ever again. What good is a store manager when they are not available in person or by phone? Winn Dixie here I come! read more

never use instacart! jacked up prices - slow pickup - terrible customer service- never received my food! 12/27/2024 zero stars

nearly 80% of the time the produce is at end of life, especially the berries section. as a result there is mold or rotten portions in the produce if you buy it that day you should use that day. read more

A Publix sub is always vastly superior to any sandwich engineered in Florida. What's great is that you can order the deli items and subs online so they are ready once you arrive at the store. As always, shopping here is a pleasure so we stopped for some essentials before our trip and loaded up the cooler and bags with plenty of necessities. The aisles are wide enough where you don't feel like you're going to run someone over with your cart which is a plus. The beer cooler is at the perfect temperature and had a nice variety as well. Parking was easy and all the aisles were organized and stocked well. The meat selection was also packaged very well and I found everything I needed. It wasn't packed at all which is great because I wasn't trying to delay myself either. Quick, clean, easy, and delicious...can't go wrong! read more

Great location. No Publix where I live but when I'm in town this is always a great one stop shop. Pharmacy. Lottery tickets. Produce. Bakery. Deli. Seafood. All of it. Produce selection is decent. Vegetables too. Haven't seen bruised or gross produce which is a plus. Nice wide area for choose fruit even with a large number of carts. All the other snacks. Frozen. Sodas. Pretty basic but a wide variety of these items. Name brand, pricier, Publix brand, and everything in between. Aisles are normal size but clean. Staff has always been friendly. Enough checkout aisles so no long lines. Friendly baggers. As far as going to a grocery store, even during a holiday rush this place is a pleasant experience. Two other locks Publix locations are not as awesome as this spot. Keep coming back here. Even trying other Publix spots thinking one will be as great as this spot. No dice but I'll keep trying. read more

I was very upset to find out today that Publix Pharmacy has been sitting on my Rx for pain medicine for 10 days. I called the pharmacy and found out it has been on back-order. No date when it will be available. Meanwhile, I continue to experience real pain. It would be nice if a patient could be notified through the text system when a medication is not available and won't be available. 10 days! Yes, I was as patient as an angel. The main store is wonderful, but this pharmacy policy needs updating. Thank you. read more

This Publix is located in Melbourne off of Wickham Avenue and Post Road. There is a small strip mall attached to the publix there is also a really great soup shop that I highly recommend going to for lunch. Across the street from the publics there is a Walmart. I have been to this Publix multiple times and I will continue to go back to them. My aunt and uncle go here 2 times a week and it's there go to grocery store in the area. Out of all of the supermarkets that I have been too throughout my travels the staff at this Publix is the nicest and most accommodating out of all of them. I wasn't even five steps in the door and one of their employees said hi how are you doing today. I also noticed that their staff members were assisting elderly people to their car with their bags. Pricewise this Publix is a bit more expensive than some of the other grocery stores in the area but like I always say you do get what you pay for. Compared to the supermarkets in New York this Publix is extremely clean and offers a lot of healthy eating choices. This Publix had its own health section within a range of nuts fruits salads organic section I was very impressed. They also had a really big deli section which has boars head cold cuts!!! They also had a hot tray station where they had everything for macaroni and cheese to wings and fresh homemade soups. To the right of the section they had all of their freshly baked bread and dessert stations. I went up to the deli counter and I ordered $75 worth of different cold cuts and the staff did not mind at all that I did not call my order in before coming in. they actually had two different employees getting my order ready I was very impressed by that. This publix is extremely clean and well taken care of. They do have a full wine and beer selection in the corner of the store in the front. Another interesting thing about the store is you can actually get live bait here for fishing. Really other than that it's a typical grocery store. Overall this store is a great grocery store. The staff here is extremely friendly and accommodating. The store is extremely clean and well taken care of. Every time that I am in Melbourne I will continue to go back to this publix. I recommend hitting up the soup shop next-door before going grocery shopping. PROS: - friendliest staff - very clean - has boars head cold cuts - large organic section CONS: read more

Whatever you do, do not get assisted by "JZ" in the deli section. You can tell she hates being there, and it shows in everything she does. She is passive-aggressive, rude, and speeds through everything. She will wrap your sub and squish it. I've gone through her three times, and each time was not pleasant. If you hate your job, find a better one, don't take it out on the customers just because you have to work a Saturday. I give 5 starts because everything else is great but her. read more

The produce in this store is consistently rotted, moldy or slimy. Had a bagger get me a package of strawberries. Upon getting them home, over half were inedible. I had already told the produce guy the quality was unacceptable, so he but new ones out and I had two of those. However he left the rotted ones on the shelf and that's what she brought me. This is not an isolated incident. Have thrown out salads, zucchini, tomatoes. The people are very nice, but quality is horrible. read more

Very clean store. Food/produce/meat is always fresh. We don't go to this one that much because it is too far away but when we do we always have problems with the deli. They are always short staffed with attitudes. They do mostly have the products so that is a bonus. Yes, the place is always clean but their people need attitude checks. They don't really follow the shopping is a pleasure moto. Also I don't go to these stores that much because it is so expensive for some of the products. read more

Love this Publix! The deli does get insanely busy but you can always order online and pick up at the deli - no wait!

Excellent supermarket with special attention from employees for anything I am looking for and cannot find. Employees are nice and there is always something nice to sample. Foods are fresh, including flowers and other items not normally expected. Pharmacy OK but really not a source for pharmaceutical needs as items are limited compared to other nearby pharmacies. Clean store. Well lit parking lot. read more

I go shopping here a few times a week... I always seem to forget something! The store is always spotless, the pharmacy is continently located right by the entrance. I've tried almost everything at the deli & its always delicious. Shelves are always well stocked with a variety of brand names & Publix brands which are typically just as good. I love stocking up on the BOGO deals each week too. They are quick to call up extra cashiers when things get busy. I wish they would do this in the deli as well. Sometimes it can be a long wait especially when someone order multiple subs and there's only 1-person making them. Most of the staff have been working here for years and they are always friendly. With a Walmart across the street, Publix blows them away on quality & service... you truly get what you pay for! read more

I have never had a bad experience at this Publix. The associates are incredibly professional and will bend over backwards for you. I drive by three other grocery stores to visit "my" Publix. Truly enjoy shopping here. Staff is always friendly and lots of bogo deals which is nice. Why publix has just poor quality of produce; limited fresh fruits, vegetables, garlic, etc?

I like that my local Publix carries some organic produce, but it is very hit or miss. I've decided to talk to management every single time I'm in there so they really *get* that there is a problem. For instance, we buy about 6 almond milks every time we're in the store. Half the time it's not stocked on the shelf and we have to ask for it, and the other half the time it's not stocked on the shelf and they're out of it. When I talk to the stockers, they say "it's just a good seller". When I talk with management, they say it's an automatic vendor re-stock and they have no control over that product. Well, if it's such a good seller, please restock more frequently... it will be an even better seller if it's there for people to purchase. My husband is so frustrated over this, that he won't even go to Publix for almond milk any longer. He heads across the street to the Neighborhood Walmart who always has it stocked. Another big issue is placement of the organic produce. As soon as the loose organic produce is sold out, the stockers will fill those spaces with non-organic produce. PLEASE do not put chemically-treated items in non-chemically treated places. It's defeating the purpose. Also, after shopping at the local health food store and the local farms where I buy most of my produce, I then head to Publix to pick up the things they stock that the other places don't always have...like organic green apples, organic spinach (large boxes), organic cauliflower, etc. I went this week and there was no spinach. Again. Empty shelf space for it, but no produce. I asked if they had it in the back and was told that the truck came that day but only delivered one box of mixed greens (which I had already put in my cart). So I go to the store manager to discuss again. She's always very nice, but she does not get it. I'm sure in her mind she's thinking, "it's just a couple boxes of spinach we don't have", but what she doesn't get is that I have $200 of produce in my car or refrigerator for juicing, and I need the spinach for the juice, too. AND, I could have bought the small boxes from the health food store. Frustrating. Another This would be a 1-star review, but I'm adding a 2nd star because they hire the disabled. My sister is disabled and has worked for a different Publix store for around 30 years. Bravo, Publix, for your big heart in this regard! I will adjust the star-rating when these ongoing issues are resolved. Come on Publix, I really want to love you! read more

I am surprised to see all of the negative reviews. I love this publix! I feel like the staff is always so friendly. The store is always clean and stocked and the prices are good. I will definitely continue shopping here. read more
