I rarely go to Publix because there are so many cheaper alternatives and I hate their deli (blasphemy). I found myself looking for Milo's tea for someone and popped in... they didn't have but I got a few other things I needed. I then went to another store to get the tea and, everything that I just purchased was significantly cheaper. This store was clean and there were zero carts in the parking lot - they were all inside for customers to use. When I went to check out the lady "helping" all the customers jumped on me, "hit pay hit pay!!" Lady, calm down, I don't even have my wallet out yet - I literally had to tell her that. She said "I stand here all day telling people that". Ok - noted... if I'm in the mood for check- out service with a dose of anxiety I know where to go - haha. read more

The major reason I shop at Publix. The service! You don't see a bunch of staff standing around doing nothing while you check out your own groceries, bag them, pay for them and load them back into your cart while those stand around picking their noses doing absolutely nothing. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and they bag your groceries... put them in your cart then politely ask if you would like help out to your car with the groceries!! This publix deli was the absolute worst customer service I've ever had besides McDonald's. Annmarie was ridiculously rude to me after I waited in line for her to make 1 previous customers sub when I simply asked if they had shredded cheese. "Nope! Everyone always thinks we have it all" she said looking to the ceiling and flailing her arms. This isn't the type of employee that should be making subs. She fucking sucked at it anyway trying to rush me when I made everything simple and easy for her. Probably shouldn't be hiring a grumpy 40 year old that takes 30 minutes to make one chicken tender sub. Absolutely regret even wasting my time. read more

I shop this Publix all the time. The employees are always friendly. Mr. Derrick the store manager keeps the store in excellent fully stocked all the time. Clean and organized. I would highly recommend shopping here for all your grocery needs. read more

This Publix has amazing customer service. They are understanding and provide excellent solutions to any problems you experience. The only thing I'd like to see different is the produce stock. Risks with online ordering. With the exception of Stephen, the Deli Clerks make lots of mistakes at this location. Look at your order and check it before you leave and have to come back. Hacked up, smashed up, dumped the end stubs on you, or the wrong stuff. I keep telling them hoping, but I'm probably wasting my breath. That said, if Stephen is working wait for him, he doesn't make mistakes and the cuts look perfect. read more

For the most part my shopping experience at the Publix has been good. The exception is the pharmacy.

I love that no matter where I go, I always get top notch service at publix! I'm not sure what their secret is, but keep it up! Staff was courteous and welcoming. I had a few questions as to where I could find several items since I had never been to this location. Every single staff member was very helpful, even if they were in the middle of a task, they stopped to help me. Always a plus. Aisles are well lit and wide. Always friendly service! I love that if there is an employee on the same aisle they always say HELLO and ask if I'm finding everything or need help finding anything. The cashiers go above and beyond every time! I can find what I need in a hurry, and people actually adhere to the express lane requirements.. THANK GOD. Once upon a time, publix seemed pricey. Now their prices seem more reasonable, especially with regular buy one get one free specials. Imho, better selection in their beer/vino dept. than the superstore started by sam walton. This locale is cleaner, more modern than other publix in the area, imho. Publix as a company is amazing. I have never had a bad experience in any publix locations and I swear by publix for most of my grocery shopping. I feel that in every single publix you as a customer will be treated well and you will find that publix only hires people who are helpful and do their jobs correctly. States that don't have publix, I feel bad for them! It's an amazing company! The West Melbourne location is just great. The store is always clean, the shelves are always organized. The staff is always helpful and if they dont have a particular item they will order it! I have never even heard of that until I couldn't find something very specific. They also have a really impressive "green wise" selection. I love Publix's bogo sales and I love how easy it is to coupon with publix still. Other retailers are becoming harder and harder to coupon with and publix has become easier! read more

Have shopped here often for years, but not anymore. Went for a big shopping trip on 02/21/15. Upon check-out, a bag of carrots rings up as $5.00, while the shelf tag said $.99 I said that the only reason I bought the carrots was the $.99 price tag. So I walk over to produce with someone who is supposed to be some kind of manager, and both she and I spot the $.99 price. Woops, she says, it is marked wrong. After checking with her computer system, she says it is supposed to be $3.49 So I say, well then it is free - right? As Publix everywhere else has the "rings up wrong price" it is free. No. I purchased the $3.49 bag of carrots, and will not be back ever more. You just lost a good customer to Winn-Dixie. read more

I love Publix. Mostly all of the locations I've been to are very clean, and provides great service. The meat/seafood, deli, bakery, and produce sections are usually pretty fresh. This is where I usually come to get those items. This location was pretty busy, and seems smaller than the other publix locations I've been to. But it seemed to have the same quality and standards as the others. read more

Love Publix, and as this is the one closest to my house, it's the one I frequent most often. Their staff is always super helpful, the store is clean, and customer service is great with returns and exchanges. Their organic produce selection is a little pricey sometimes, but generally good. The floral selection is also really great, and I generally end up going home with flowers anytime I stop in to buy groceries. My favorite section, though, is their bakery. Everything is fresh and yummy, the staff is nice, and the cake decorators are really quick when you need something personalized. It's the best place to stop in for bagels, pastries, cakes, etc. read more

Worst experience ever. We got 2 full chickens and asked the meat cutting person to chop them into pieces. He was so irritated the moment we have told him and immediately told it will take 30 mins. We agreed to him and were ready to wait which probably he didn't expect and got the chickens from us went inside the cutting store and threw them on floor. That was so rude and we didn't expect this sort of arrogance from Publix . We didn't want to get back those chicken that was lying on the floor and left the place. Hope Publix takes efforts to keep its employees happy so that they don't reflect their anger on us. read more

The Publix in Viera close to where I work makes better subs than the one on 192 in West Melbourne. I order online and it's always just as I order. The one on 192 is rarely on time and usually leave out something. Today they left out the lettuce and the extra mayo. Still better than most subs. I think it's the Boars Head that makes it taste better. read more
