I ordered groceries online for delivery as I am handicapped. The driver pulled up to my house and never delivered anything, he just drove off after 20 mins outside my house. I call your outsourced customer service and they can't help. In store just says we'll try to reschedule. I look online an hour later and my order's been cancelled with no money returned to my bank account. I call the store to talk to a manager and when she gets online I explain that it's illegal to take people's hard earned money and not deliver a product, and not return that money back to the customer immediately, and she screams at me that if I'm involving a lawyer she can't talk to me and slams the phone down. How is anyone supposed to resolve anything or get their money back when you steal from them and won't talk to them about it? I now have to call my lawyer. read more

This is the third or fourth time we have scheduled a delivery for the evening it keeps getting pushed back for delayed. Finally they say they have to reschedule it. This Walmart should not be offering deliveries in the evening if they can't have the drivers available to deliver the items. Daughter needed a tire replaced and wanted to go to Walmart for a new Cooper All Terrain for her Suburban. Q was the technician who changed the tire and balanced it. From the time we pulled up till we drove away was less than 30 minutes. It could have been even quicker, but someone else pulled up and Q got them signed in also. The previous tire had shredded and the rim was slightly dinged. Q got the wheel balanced and so far has been fine. If a follow up review needs to be made I will do so. read more

Wal-Mart is nototiously known for not taking the time to make it's stores look great or even remotely better than what they are and this store in particular is no different, matter of fact, it's worse. On this particular trip to my local Wal-Mart upon arriving I parked on what Wal-Mart calls the GM side or what they have branded as their "Home & Pharmacy" entrance simply because I needed to pick up a jump starter for my car (more on that situation later.) After exiting my car and walking towards this particular entrance, I noticed that they have it roped off however I was under the impression that it could still be used as an entrance but as I saw customers also walking up and walking away, it was quite clear this entrance was not open. There are no signs whatsoever stating this and a simple banner over the top of this entrance would go a long way in helping customers know that this entrance is closed. I don't understand the necessity of closing one side of the store, especially during a pandemic in which everyone is now entering and exiting on one side which upon entering the grocery side it was very packed and no possible way to maintain six feet which is something Wal-Mart says to do, but doesn't at all enforce along with just how much they fail at making customers wear masks which I saw several guests not doing at all. I'm not sure why businesses are so afraid of enforcing such a simple rule but why have them if you refuse to enforce them? When I made my way to the Auto Center, of which no employees were present, the jump starter is behind a glass case. I finally found an employee and asked to have them get the item I needed. This employee that looked like they were working in this section of the store said they didn't have keys which makes absolutely no sense because why would you have an employee work an area that has a glass case but not give them the keys? The employee said that they had to find management to get them a key, so the employee had to page for a manager. One thing I will never understand is why Wal-Mart doesn't provide their employees with walkie-talkies for simple communication between associates. It would make things so much simpler, but like most Wal-Mart stores, they refuse to do anything to help keep their customers happy and make things easier as well as better for their employees. I do not recommend anyone shopping at this store unless it is the only Wal-Mart close to you and please make your trips quick as they are not doing anything to help keep employees and customers safe from this pandemic. read more

As I've said in my other Walmart location reviews, Walmart is my least favorite place to shop. But it serves it purpose for me and that is it almost always have what I want (even if it feels like I have to walk a mile to find it), their produce section is not bad, and their prices are simply unbeatable. I've experience a $2 price difference on a product I've regularly bought at Krogers. Crazy. I do prefer this location over the one in New Albany, which is closer to me. The Clarksville location has a good produce section, products always in stock (except for the Bistro packaged salad - very popular item) and pushed to the front, and the store is relatively clean. The parking lot has ample handicapped parking spaces and the motor carts aren't always available, but for the most part they are. They normally have several open lanes and the self-check-out register all seem to be operational to help keep this particular line moving. Normally there's only one attendant at self-check-out, but that person always work through each customers issue fairly quickly, preventing a long wait with your won issue. I personally don't like self-check-out, but when I do use it the experience hasn't been bad. The employees have always been nice and very helpful. I usually try to strick a conversation with the check-out employee and they've always been kind and very pleasant. The other good thing about this location is it's near the largest shopping area in the New Albany / Clarksville area and it's located right off the expressway with a huge parking lot. read more

We've shopped this store for many years. We've had some good experiences and some not so good. However, this review is primarily regarding their grocery curbside pickup after shopping online. We are both elderly (old) and have stayed at home due to the urging of our grown children, for the past 6 weeks. This was our first grocery outing since self isolating. We placed our order online on a Tuesday afternoon. We were able to schedule our pickup for first thing Thursday morning which I thought was reasonable under the current situation. When I received notification our order was ready, we headed to the store for pickup. I had read on their website that at this time, pickup is contactless. Upon arriving and parking in the designated space, I called the posted number. In a very short time our order arrived and a young man loaded our vehicle. He then came to my door and insisted I sign for it. I explained it was my understanding pickup is contactless. He insisted, so I did sign his pad. Upon getting home we found a couple items had been substituted. This was no big deal, but more on this later. There was also a couple items shown as out of stock. Finally, we had one produce item that was so unusable we literally threw it straight in the garbage. Unfortunately the unusable item was a bundle of asparagus. Summary: As soon as we got home and was aware of the substitutes and out of stock items, I got online and checked their stock. One of the substituted items showed still in stock and able to order it. One out of stock item showed still in stock and again, able to order right after we arrived home from picking up our order. Finally, when you check on your order online AFTER pickup, you're asked if there's any items with problems or you want to return. Guess what, every item on my list EXCEPT the asparagus is eligible for adjustment or return. I'm not going to lose any sleep over $1.98 worth of asparagus. However, this asparagus was so nasty, it was very evident and shouldn't have even been on the shelf! All things considered, I would use this service again. However, I would not buy fresh produce. read more

Walmart seems to be one of those places we all complain about, but still go there anyways. This particular location did not impress me the other day. My roommate and I were grabbing a few things around 1 am. There was only one register open, which I can understand since it was late and it wasn't too busy. However, when the line starts wrapping around the isles, and associates are hanging out chatting away, I think it would make some sense to open another register. There was a woman in front of us who had a lot of items, and she was either very anal about price matching or they were not ringing her up correctly, so it was taking quite a long time. Another associate then comes behind the register, and discussing with the cashier about calling in and taking some time off.... Then after about 30 MINUTES later, she finally opens another register. The man behind me nearly ran over me to beat me to the register, and she did nothing about it. When I finally got there, the only words that came out of her mouth was the rest of her venting session with the other employee. It was about 2:30 am when we left, and I had to work early in the morning. Either management needs to fix their terrible service, or I will be doing my shopping at Meijer from now on. read more

This particular location is a nightmare to navigate, always crowded (even in the middle of the night), and staffed by some of the surliest people I've ever had the displeasure to encounter. I get it. You work for a company that pays you the bare minimum and chips away at your humanity with every minute of your servitude. I'd be pissed off, too. This is the worst Wal-Mart in the area. I was there a little after 11 pm and the parking lot was filthy and overrun with carts. I had to go back outside to get a cart,there were none inside. The inside of the store wasn't much cleaner. The shelves are out of stock on a lot of items, especially in the grocery side and on the store brand items. Some employees are very polite and helpful, but they are the exception not the rule. read more

I HATE, with a passion, hate, going to this particular Wal-Mart. With that being said they do have a nice selection of fruit and produce. Deli is nice, and it's up in the front of the store. Baker is pretty good also. Watch the donuts for fruitflies! If I have to stop here I will, but if I can go anywhere else close to get what I need, I will in a heart beat. In town from Indy today, business week. Went to grab a few items. Their Walmart OJ was priced at $2.19 but they had an entire refrigerated island of Simply Orange advertised at $1.99. Sure enough, at the checkout lane she rang the OJ last (otherwise I'm sure I wouldn't have noticed it) at $3.33. When I corrected her - the response was 'someone must have put it in the wrong place'. Really? With another 100 bottles? I'm sure this corporate response was beat into her. She laughed it off. What was funny about Walmart trying to make $1.40 off of me? Jamaria (my spelling may be wrong) at the customer service desk at 9:40am on 7/11/19 was SOOOOO amazing! I got charged for an item I had price checked at the garden center on June 28, 2019 (there are no price check stations anymore at Walmart! ) I noticed it when I was looking for the receipt for the item I was returning, and she refunded me cash on a debit transaction with no problems! The entire process took under 5 minutes and she did it with a smile! GREAT EMPLOYEE! It's hard to ever say anything nice about Walmart, but Jamaria made me leave with a smile! Apparently Walmart can't open a jewelry case after 10 PM. Even though it is a 24 hour store. When we asked someone to open the case for us, we received a blunt "can't do it." Because it was after 10 PM. I lost my nose ring late this evening and am going on a trip tomorrow, so I was hoping to pick up a replacement before leaving on my trip to avoid my piercing closing up or having any other issues. Did not appreciate the lack of care about my situation and I do not understand the inability to retrieve a single piece of jewelry for me. My pickup order was scheduled to be picked up tonight between 5 & 6 pm. At 5 pm, when I was already on my way to the store, I received an email that my order was delayed. At 5:42 pm, I received another email that it was ready. I checked in on the app notifying them that I was on my way and arrived at the store at approximately 6:05. At 6:30 an associate walked up to my car and asked me for my order number. He looked it up, said it was ready and they'd be right out. At 7 pm I was still waiting so I called the number on the sign and the boy who answered said it would be about 20 more minutes. At 7:30 I still had no order so I called again and the same boy said they were on their way out with it. At 7:42, TWO FULL HOURS after they notified me it was ready, they FINALLY brought it out to my car. I ordered 20 cans of chicken broth and when I checked my bags, they had only given me 19. I called the store again for the 3rd time to tell them about my missing item. I didn't want to wait any longer so I asked if they'd just refund me for the missing can. The boy was very rude and told me no they'd already charged me and if I wanted a refund I'd have to call 1-800-Walmart. I then heard another boy in the background say , "Really? That fucking bitch is getting tore up over a fucking can of soup?" The boy on the phone with me laughed, said yep and hung up on me. I called 1-800-Walmart, filed a complaint and was issued a refund for my missing item. However, after waiting 2 full hours for my order and considering the deplorable vulgar way I was treated by their employees, I feel like I deserve an apology in the very least and a discount off my next Walmart order. I understand times are hard and staffing shortages are making things difficult for everyone, but I have never in my life been treated so disrespectfully by a store employee. I sincerely hope their phone calls are recorded so the store manager can hear the way they talked to me. I was not one bit rude and was patient every time I called them. Well apparently they let guys with less I.Q. than the fish they sell at Walmart to work on cars. I told them to make sure they change the valve stems on my truck when they replace the tires. (Common practice at ANY decent shop). They didn't even change them! These stems are over 10 years old and are in bad shape. then I go about asking them if they clean the lip of the rims to make sure they can create a proper seal. Especially on aluminum rims because they like to corrode over time. The curly red headed "tech" looked at me like I was from another planet then said "we just get them out the door as quick as possible". Clearly missing a important step to make sure they properly seal without leaking out. I've worked in shops before and am certified. These guys should either find a different career path or get better trained because they are a liability and can cause serious problems because they are not doing things right. Well I guess I'll be just paying extra to take it to a dealer and make sure it's done the right way. What a joke. Walmart for the W! Nerds..... read more

Three hours for an oil change/tire rotation and they weren't even busy. I had stopped by at 9 am thinking the car dealership I usually go to was probably already full. The auto area's lot seemed empty and its oil change lane had no one, so I thought I'd try them. The bays weren't full and nothing was said about a long wait. Of the 3 hour wait, my vehicle was actually in the shop for 2 hours. A guy in front of me had waited 3 1/2 hours. It was just me him, and a few workers. The workers were moving SO slow. I can't imagine they were good, or knew what they were doing. I will NEVER go back. read more

I understand it's Christmas time but 40 minutes is long enough wait for an item that I could not put in my cart to be taken to customer service. The young lady in the paint department was very helpful. She called for help and told me the box would be at customer service. I finished shopping and about 40 minutes later I went to the check out and the young gentleman went to the customer service area and there was no box. So I went back to have found the box which was the last box still sitting there. So I went to the young lady in the paint department and she called out several times for more help. I waited for another 10 minutes and no one showed up. I had no choice but to leave due to I had to get my grandkids off the bus. After getting in the car I called to speak to a supervisor. I was disconnected. I understand it happens. I called back asked for a supervisor the nice lady put me on hold waited 10 minutes no supervisor. Lady came back on I said I'm still waiting for a supervisor. She put me back on hold I waited another 10 minutes and no answer. I had to hang up due to the kids getting off the bus. This service is ridiculous. I have a lot of patience but to be blown off for an hour is crazy. I am a business owner myself and no one should be treated like this. I had a bad experience with their bakery department! I went up there to pick out a cake for my 3 year old daughters birthday I had her with me and she was so excited to choose a cake. Well when we initially walked up we were not greeted or anything... I just grabbed the cake book and we started looking. Then after we decided on one we placed the book back. And was awaiting assistance. There were 2 ladies working and they both would look and just turn their heads talk about other stuff and act as if we wasn't there. So time passes I decide to call just to see if they answer and they did smh...a man(white, I'm black) walks up and they run to him " hey how can we help you" note the "man" was standing just like I didn't say a word but got granted service! I stood there for 15 mins before my patients wore him and I ended up asking for a supervisor and snapping at them. read more

My husband ordered some tires from Walmart on line and they told him he could pick the tires up at the Veteran Parkway store so they texted him from the store and said the tires where ready to be picked so he goes to the store and they could not find the tires after he waited a hour and they said they were looking for the tires he said he was waiting and it was several service employees just hanging out so the cashier kept trying to get someone to look for the tires after anouther hour they said they could not find the tires and they would give him his money back he said I want the tires not the money can I just buy the same brand of tires I ordered at the same price that said no you can't so he ask for the manager and he yes so my husband pays for the tires they tried twice the charge him a higher amount they had to call the manager again so my husband also the tire rotated and balance they tried to charge him more money and then they did put the caps on the stem of the tires he had to go back in and get the stem covers for the tires the service is horrible I know everything is not about race but it is sad how people get treated in Indiana just for being black the at the Walmart on grantline the cashier was upset because I asked him to please double bag my groceries and he said he would walk off and did. read more
