We've lived in Cornelius NC for almost 25 years and our primary home store was the one in Jetton Village. It's one of the largest in the Harris Teeter system and is considered to be a flagship, upscale store along with Mooresville and Davidson. The Cornelius Store is probably between 25 and 33% larger than this one. It had more selections like in the Bread Sections, Cornelius was around twice as large. That said, while the Denver Store is smaller, it still offers a lot of good quality food at reasonable prices and is everything we may need. Store is clean and well organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to shopping here more in the near future.

Not as big as the Big Box Stores in terms of floor size or number of SKU's, they make up for it in variety. and price. They have much of the essentials we would be buying but at the same time, there is always something else and it keeps changing. More like a European store which it is in heart. Everything I go, I bring home something different that I had not set out to buy in the first place. This is particularly true of their cheeses. Twice a year, normally in April and October, they have weeklong promotions of German Staples and Meats. Always something good and delicious. Did I mention that ALDI is German? Few quirks I have not adjusted to like getting a shopping cart by inserting a quarter but in the end, you get your quarter back It's time to go shopping again so will see you at ALDI's in Denver

Publix does very little wrong! but I had a conversation yesterday with the on duty manager about this store being out of a basic never run out of item 2 weeks ago SUGAR there was not a box or bag in the store. There is a unwritten rule in the business certain things you just never be out of. Those are sugar, bread,eggs,milk and add water to that in today's world. I am just saying you can't let the computer do all your thinking and ordering for you. Publix you can do better than that. The only other thing I can complain about this store is the amount of prebaged produce with damaged or spoiled items. this is normally caused by rough handling while putting on a display. This is still the best option in stores around( all are to high priced) .

I know it probably sounds silly like why you don't call the main number and ask to be connected but it does not work out that easily. My wife and I are both on Social Security and every fall we meet with a licensed insurance agent, and we go over which is the best plan for us. Oddly enough, the best pharmacy for her and me are sometimes different due to the mix of drugs. She has several prescriptions for diabetic medicines that are fairly expensive, and I have several for COPD, Last year, while we had the same pharmacy, we had different insurance carriers. Also, part of the total picture is that under Medicare Advantage there are some dental and eye care coverage to consider. Biggest problem and the only reason for four stars is that at least one of my wife's diabetic mediations is generally on backorder I have the same problem with one of my medications for COPD. Not a problem because they are able to transfer the prescriptions to the Wal-Mart Pharmacy which has no problem getting the needed prescriptions. The inconvenience is that now I have to make two stops as opposed to one. I went ahead and changed Insurance Providers because my current one, Blue Advantage went up on the copay and they are no longer the lower cost provider plus the third party they use for Dental Coverage is a nightmare for both me and the health care provider. The Pharmacy is excellent, and the staff is also very good. We got both our Flu and Covid shots several months ago and they caught a potential problem which I had to delay getting the Covid Shot. I had a minor injury in my foot and was on a steroid called Pregnazone. They cautioned that the two in combination had the potential to reduce the effectiveness of both and they recommended holding off on the Covid Shot till I had completed the Pregnazone regime. Which i did. Glad they caught it. Drive through is a dream and I really like the connivence. I like this place and strongly recommend it.

Probably one of the larger Dollar Trees in the area, this location always seems to have some…read morepleasant surprises whenever I visit. Some things are rather random, but others are pretty expected. I've found that office/school supplies have been a rising source of anxiety for me in other stores, but the Dollar Tree has what you need. Seasonal items and quick toys are good finds here since they don't cost an arm and a leg for cute presents for nieces and nephews or party decor. The shelves are organized and sectioned off. I'm also surprised with the food options in the Dollar Tree. The shopping strip seems to have been something else at one point - My guess is the next door Golds Gym used to be a supermarket of some sort, but the great thing is that there's a large parking lot. Easy to get in and access I-77. The staff here are friendly. The line moves pretty quickly even though there may only be one or two registers open. You leave the store with a great sense of discovery and a ton of stuff (bang for the buck).

A few months ago they ran a 30% off sale and we wanted a large rectangular table for our deck and of course they didn't have one here and we had to drive to the other side of Gastonia to that Big Lots to get it. Same thing two years ago when they ran a sale on furniture and there was a recliner I wanted and of course they did not have one here and we had to drive to the Newton location to get it. This is the closest Big Lots to my house but I have learned that at this store with any major sale they will not have any of the items advertised and its just waste of time and gas to drive to this store.

While the store itself is rather clean, I think the problem lies with management and the lack of competency to hire people who know what they are doing and the lack of work ethic to show those people how to do the job and instead opting for sitting them down in front of a computer screen and having them watch "modules" that do a poor job at telling them how to do the job, (I know this because I used to work there for three months). I saw an employee try to show a customer who lacked the brain cells to pay for his stuff, how to work the card machine and the store manager Ben was yelling at her when she was just trying to do her job and it was holding up the line. Keep in mind the store manager didn't even take the time to help his people out even after passing by like four times while this is happening. I've also heard and experienced for myself that the management there doesn't care for people with mental disabilities who want to work there and even go as far as to try to set those mentally disabled people up to get fired by putting them in scenarios that trigger them. Sometimes they even straight up fire those disabled people for no reason and make up excuses so they don't have to give them special treatment, (I have autism and DID and they did this to me and even called me retarded straight to my face saying "We don't need retards causing trouble at our store." which I was extremely confused by and upset by at the same time). Don't shop here, the people here are either stuck up or lack the brain cells to help you or even a mixture of both. (When I say lack the brain cells I mean they are Neurotypical and stupid)
