We had lunch over in Lincolnton and my wife mentioned she needed to stop in Walgreens to see if they had any body powder. She likes the Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds line, and it can be hard to find at times. Walked in with her and unfortunately the only thing I can say from my observations is that that staffing level is a joke. She walked in and took a couple of minutes, but she promptly found what she was looking for. It was behind glass but that is not an unusual anit-theft measure these days. Back to the front counter and only one station open (turned out that was the only Walgreens employee available) and there were two ahead of her. No problem but when she got to the counter and asked for someone to open the display to get what she wanted, she was informed that the person at the cashier was the only person who could open the cabinet for her. Finally she went back to the display and opened it for my wife. Originally my wife only wanted one there were two available and to avoid going through this again, she took both boxes. Back to the front and even though the cashier had walked her back to the merchandize, she was again second in the que. At this point just an aggravation but it the store had been busier; it could have been a disaster. read more

This used to be a good Pharmacy but in recent year it has gone to the dogs. Not sure it's related to pandemic staffing issues or Corporate Changes but dealing with this place is now very unpleasant. From the always rude staff to pickup notifications being sent for prescriptions that aren't ready , it seems to always be something new to deal with. I may sound old fashioned but I long for the good ole days when businesses cared about their customers. read more

Walgreens in Lincolnton, NC consistently does partial refills on certain expensive meds, requiring me to pay almost double per pill for the smaller amount. No matter how many times I call or how long I wait, the rest of that medication won't be in till I pick up the partial refill. They are crooks and should be ashamed of doing this to anyone, much less the uninsured. Shame on you Walgreens!!!! read more

Again, I'm out here house sitting and need a movie and some Aquafor to cover my newly placed tattoo...And there you were, right down the street from Wendy's. This Walgreens was amazing. We were on a road trip across country. Had to wait until we got here to fill my sons much needed prescription as it was too early to fill before we left home. Insurance went off the deep end like they do and decided to not cover it. I spent 3 days fighting with insurance and doctors office to allow him to receive the medication he'd already been taking for 2.5 months. This Walgreens was patient with me calling them asking for advice and to keep checking if it was approved. When it finally was approved they filled it super fast as we were already heading to our next stop on our trip. Thank you Walgreens for helping me get this straightened out. read more

Best pharmacy I've found. They are courteous and always keep me posted on my medicines. The cashiers are great and treat you like family!
