The CVS in Harrisburg doesn't close till 9 on Sundays. The Walgreens across the street is 6. Good service. Clean store.

I am absolutely appalled at the fact that you can not speak to a live person only to a robot and to only be able to leave a voice mail that states you will receive a call back which didn't happen last week after 2 calls and 2 voice mail messages left although they state they will call you back! And even given permission to text you back they didn't I was told by someone else same thing happened to them... no call back! If there was a way to give a thumbs down I'd give them ten! read more

Chances are your tired old sweatpants and t-shirt and or feathery loungewear won't be anywhere near the strangest thing they have seen working late nights. Come to think of it I'm probably the strangest sight... but I digress. Both Damien and Renee were in good spirits and had endless patience helping me find the items listed in the sales circular and figure out precisely the most efficient way to maximize the benefit the specials. If you've ever shopped at CVS, you know the experience is complicated but eventually satisfying like a good crossword puzzle. Or paintball. Or maybe a little of each. Mr. Seradieu has done an excellent job locating kind and friendly folks and I can only imagine what a great time you will have at 3 in the morning when YOU need sardines, duct tape, waterproof mascara, and lots of antacid. Well maybe you won't have a great time if you need TUM at 3am, but you'll have a better time getting the help you need at CVS Harrisburg then you will anywhere else! I will not book an appointment with minute clinic again. Five minutes late and they started seeing a patient with a later appointment and refused to fit me in. They saw someone early during my appointment time and refused to see me. This was at the Harrisburg NC clinic. read more

Terrible service today and still couldn't get my prescription. Spent 15 minutes in the drive through lane and had to pull around to go in and spent probably another 15 to 20 minutes inside trying to get help with a prescription and still ended up walking out with no help at all. Spent the ride back home trying through the phone and was on hold the ENTIRE time. I have been a loyal customer for years and now I'm considering changing pharmacies because of their lack of customer service abilities and helping people in a timely manner. read more

The people (I wouldn't call them pharmacists) are harmful to your health. I popped into this location tonight to grab a feminine product. When i walked in i saw two female employees who did not even say hello . I go to the aisle and grab my product and observe the older cashier hurrying to the aisle to pretend to fake fix a box and ask if i needed assistance i said no and proceeded to walk to the register which she walked with me to cash out. This was racial profiling at its best . Her coworker was in close proximity as well fake adjusting product. The older white gentleman who was actually stealing wasn't approached not once ironically! I will never patronize this location ever again In life! I was in the store all of 4 minutes ! This location needs their staff to receive proper training. Black people aren't thieves . Why a pandemic and COVID-19 cases rising is CVS of all places allowing customers to be in the store without masks. An employee with her mask on her chin (not covering her mouth or nose) spoke to the customer and did not ask them to put on a mask or leave the store. What did I expect with the example that employee was setting for customers. I told them about my displeasure and walked out of the store. I won't be back until they improve their protocol. read more

The ladies in the pharmacy are awesome! This was the 2nd CVS I went to for an antibiotic prescription, the first pharmacy said it would take 2 days to fill due to lack of staff, the ladies at this location on Harrisburg rd helped me get my prescription changed and got it filled within 20 minutes and it's at the time of closing! They did not have to help or even fill my prescription this evening but they all helped me! During my time waiting I overhead several other people say how amazing these ladies are, apparently they helped several ppl this evening and over hearing them being called an angel and saint made me realize they do this often! This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I have waited 3+ weeks for meds when they said that they would have them ready later same day. I have gone to pick up meds and the med wasn't ready so I told them I could come back next day and they said my meds would be ready and they weren't. And their drive up service attendants are rude. There's maybe two people that are nice up there but the rest have been awful. Then when I call, I sit there and wait for someone to answer for 20+ minutes. I fell asleep waiting on an answer one day. Ive been coming to this CVS for 8 years now. Outside of the long lines it always has, I just called the pharmacy to refill a prescription and was cut off by the pharmacist or whoever answered the phone multiple times. I couldn't even finish a sentence without being cut off. Which didn't bother me too much until the end of the call, when i was asking a question and was prompted with "thanks goodbye" *click*. I didn't even get to finish my sentence or call. She did not ask if i had any other questions or refill requests, in which i did, so now i must call back. Terrible experience, Terrible customer service. This pharmacy has held my medication for over a week now. At first they said they are out of stock of the medication and can't fill the order. will get it tomorrow, this happened Thursday and Friday and then also Monday. Tuesday Wednesday and now Thursday calls to corporate CVS just for them to continually say they can't fix the pharmacies fudge up. they won't transfer, let me pay without the insurance or anything they are literally holding my medication captive, this is ridiculous. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Robin was very rude. Me & my friends came to return an item & she was so rude I called back to complain & she made me even more mad then I was before. I advise this CVS to get rid of her all together. So disrespectful & SO unprofessional. I was in line tonight & witnessed a cashier named Tyler be soooooooo nasty & rude to a customer. The customer figured out that they were being treated terribly & left without buying their purchase. I have always used a CVS pharmacy and this one is by far the worst. Everything is so slow. I don't know if they are understaffed or what. Drive thru takes forever, inside takes forever and god forbid you call them. You will probably wait on hold for about 10 minutes before someone picks up and you get disconnected right away. This the worst CVS or pharmacy for that matter that I have ever used. I literally spent 35-45 minutes trying to get through by phone either to the pharmacy to check on my prescription or to be connected to a manager to address the in competent person in charge of answering the phone. I was hung up on 4 times! I did not get into an argument or even got a chance to talk to anyone because the person would pick up the phone, as I was connected, and then they would hang up the phone on me! Apparently they did not feel like doing their job today!! One time she picked up and abruptly said .. manager line 1 and hung up, that was after I asked to speak to a manager. If you need to call to find out if your prescription is ready.. GOOD LUCK GETTING THROUGH!! I will never use this pharmacy again!! The staff is rude, inefficient and the customer service is non existent!! Do yourself a favor and do not use this pharmacy.. as you can see from numerous reviews it is the worst!! By far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Currently sitting on hold for 15 minutes waiting for someone in the pharmacy to pick up the phone. Normally it lasts 25-30 minutes. Cal Rite Aid across the street if you can. We use to use them before we were forced to switch. They are great. No one even picks it up and acknowledges you. Due to my insurance I can only use CVS but I will never go there for anything else. Whoever the manager is here should be ashamed of the way this store is ran. read more

Inhumane treatment of patients when sick and in need of care. Tried to call to notify running "a little late"... Could not get a human and minute clinic customer service refused to help. Arrived 12 minutes late. They will accept you up to 10 minutes late. The NP was in the clinic behind the door talking on the phone. We knocked on door 4 times and she refused to answer. She came out at 25 minutes after appt time and said "sorry, you are too late.". I understand needing to be on time and called CVS 5 times to communicate I was going to be 1-2 minutes past the 10 minute cut off but could not reach a human. People come because they are sick and in need. May not be at their best and need a little grace and humanity. Very disappointed. WOULD NOT REVOMMEND!!! Would not recommend ANY CVS minute clinics. Charlotte does not have enough medical providers but I would try some place besides CVS! read more

Easily some of the nicest employees I've met at a CVS. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in, I found exactly what I needed and checkout was a breeze. Writing this sitting in the drive thru for my medicine. I've had a few long waits here before but let it go, this one is by far the worst. Two full service lanes and neither one is moving! I always try to give the benefit but several times no matter what time of day it's bad. Additionally after seeing other reviews I know I'm not alone! Going inside it equally as bad for the wait. Switched my meds because this one is closest for me and definitely switching them to somewhere else, the extra drive is worth the 30 minutes saved waiting to pick up an already filled prescription. I am only giving the pharmacy a 2 because there are a couple nice front cashier people. I am sure the rest of the staff is nice as well but I have been living in Harrisburg for over four months and EVERYTIME my prescription is messed up. I have been patient and because there are ALWAYS lines, I kindly say I will come back. They still have not combined my profiles together when I transferred from another pharmacy. May I add it was Target? I even said the third time I came to pick up my RX please give your manager this note so they can combine my profiles bc my medicine was not ready again. Guess what? Fourth time I came back STILL not combined. They seem to be overworked and don't have enough employees bc even the pharmacist look stressed out and are not particularly looking very welcoming to answer any questions. This evening I went through the drive thru and I waited 20 minutes. Decided it was taking too long and went inside like I normally do. Well, the line was insane! So I will come back tomorrow morning before work and pick it up however I will be transferring my business to another pharmacy. I have filled out a CVS survey before and from the looks of other sites, this place needs more staff and better organization. read more

Arrived at the store and drove around the side for the drive through and was blocked in by other cars. 49 minutes I sat waiting and upon arrival to the window, I learned my prescription wasn't even ready. I am leaving this review because I noticed and was shocked at the low rating. Will not be using this pharmacy anymore. Everytime I come here there is some sort of problem and it is not on my end. They always want me to either "Circle the building" or "come inside". Keep in mind, the line is always wrapped around the building so it's more like "hey can you waste an hour of your time and sit in this line all over again??" No. Today I had my cat in the car who I just picked up from having his leg amputated and was still told "sorry come inside". Came inside and NOTHING CHANGED, price was identical, same medication. So why did I have to come inside? Pissed. Why do you instruct people that go through the drive thru to come inside EVERY TIME. Maybe if they had adequate/competent staff this wouldn't be an issue. I will also be contacting corporate in regards to my multiple bad experiences at this location. They've also in the past accepted a prescription for medication they didn't have in stock and didn't know when they would be getting it in stock and failed to inform me of any issues. So I actually run out of medicine and call them to see why it's not filled yet to find out they don't have it and don't know when they're getting it... this is peoples medication, don't you think that's worth a phone call? I use the pharmacy here and I've never had a poor experience. So I initially used Walgreens on N Tryon (avoid x10) and wasn't satisfied with the service, so I switched to CVS. The lady was super helpful on the phone. She called Walgreens to get everything sent to cvs. She was patient when I couldn't remember the name of the prescription and placed her on hold to look it up. I've been to the pick up window maybe twice and inside two to three times. They window service is prompt, but the speaker is damaged so you can barely hear anything they're saying. Overall, nice experience. Nice staff. Clean store. Doesn't seem to get too busy. read more

By far the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Unfortunately, they are the only 24hr one around. I think I will switch to one that's actually further away to avoid them altogether. Drive up is without fail a 30-45min ordeal, staff is rude and doesn't know how to properly run insurance, prescriptions are never ready when they say, inside is a longer wait that the drive through. You have to double check what your insurance covers because they won't think twice about overcharging you. Constantly screwing up. May as well drive an extra 15min just to have a pleasant experience because if you're sick they will without a doubt make it worst. You've been warned. read more
