There was a large free parking area. For early dinner time on Saturday, the parking lots were almost full. This supercenter offered many grocery choices. There were different departments: fresh produce, sliced meats and cheeses, packaged meats and seafood, bakery, snacks, dairies, beverages, canned goods, and frozen foods. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BAKERY CAKE ONLY. Bought my niece a white cake for her birthday yesterday at this Wal Mart. The cake was $25+ which was fine for the size. They were very kind and wrote Happy Birthday on the cake for me. My one star is because the cake was terrible. Not one person even finished their slice. The cake was extremely dry, the icing had a strange taste with bad texture and actually wouldn't stick to the cake. It seemed as though ingredients were missing in both the cake and the frosting. Needless to say, it was very disappointing. We've purchased a cake from this store before with no issues, but this one was absolutely terrible. One of the problems at Walmart Supercenter is the need for more handicap electric carts and parking places. There are only 8 parking places at each door. I Walmart would change two of the parallels parking area into 6 perpendicular parking areas they would have a total of 12 more parking spots. I do not understand the reasoning of making two parallel parking spots when they could have 12 more parking spot for handicap people. Also, do the the increasing amount of disabled or handicap people in town and the size of Walmart they are in need of increasing the amount of electrical carts for a store like this. I am been there several times when all the carts they have are in use and the regular carts are all in the parking lot, sometimes blocking the driving lanes due to no one picking up and putting the carts back into the store. I this is a lack of responsibility of the either the Manager and Assistant manager to assign people to do the job of recovering carts from the parking lot. read more

Went to this store for groceries as we have weekly for 5 years. Surprise, that have switched to nearly all self checkout. From the time we got into the very long line until we were checked out was 48 minutes. Kudos if this new design was proposed by a competitor. Your idea worked. People were abandoning their carts, ice cream and frozen products were thawing. At one point the store manager walked by and I asked if I could use the employee lounge. When asked why, I explained that if I had to check my goods out like an employee, I should get some perks. Worst experience ever with a pickup order! NEVER again! I create on Tuesday, 15th 2023 a pickup order at the Walmart in Cedar City, UT, to pickup on Thursday, 17th 2023 between 5 and 6 PM. I got an confirmation for everything. Thursday 17th, I arrive the Walmart at 5 PM and at exact 5 PM I got an email from Walmart: [Quote] Order date: Tue, Aug 15, 2023 Order number: xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx We're sorry - your curbside pickup is delayed Hi "Customer", Your curbside pickup won't be ready on time. It should be ready soon, and then we'll let you know when it's time to go to the store. Once your items are ready for pickup, we'll hold them for you until the end of the day. No action is required, but if you'd like, you can reschedule your pickup or cancel. [/Quote] Prior to this, I had tried to add 3 items to my order because Walmart had told me I could still do that, but it didn't work! OK, I went into Walmart to purchase those 3 items. Then I went to the pickup stations and called Walmart because I couldn't "check in" to Walmart via app. An employee came up to me and told me they didn't have an order with my name on it. Even when I told her the order number, she couldn't find anything. From then on it was just stupid excuses and suddenly the order was supposed to be picked up the next day. I was told to go home and come back tomorrow to pick up my order. I said this is a joke! Why don't you pick up my order NOW and give it to me. Blah blah..... the order is for tomorrow. I showed them my confirmation and the mail with the delay, still they can only offer me to come back tomorrow. Pure incompetence!!! They have NEVER tried to help me. NO, from now on only stupid answers confirming their incompetence. The whole thing took almost 1.5 hours! I told them I have never experienced this kind of incompetence. Walmart made a mistake and now these "pickup managers" are not even trying to fix it. What is wrong with these people? I told them cancel my order I will pickup my items myself. I ordered a large grocery order for pickup last night and scheduled it for pickup today. I was impressed with the communication received on my order. Whoever pulled the order did a perfect job and the young man name of Squire did an excellent job of loading my truck so nothing was damaged.. he totally impressed me as well as a thank you to whoever pulled my order. This is the one. The one Walmart you'll feel right at home in. As we walked in, a guy was yelling at people and shaking his fists at cars. Inside, I felt like I was part of the family. I needed some tampons and on my way to the checkout I was surrounded by three different families and witnessed the employee monitoring the self-check area ask the person in front of us in line, "Do you believe in aliens?". Took my car there for an oil change. I scheduled an appointment beforehand and had to enter the make/model/year of my vehicle. They had this information, yet it took until checking me in for them to tell me that they didn't have my oil filter. I was already at the store and they had me go all the way to the auto parts store to buy it myself. They still charged me full price for the service, including the price of the oil filter that they didn't/couldn't provide me. They said it was because they don't have some parts for newer vehicles. My car is 13 years old. No apologies or kindness from them at all; just excuses. Disappointing. Two stars because they did allegedly change the oil. read more

This review is for the auto center. My daughter took her car in to see if they would check her tires as she was getting ready to leave on a roadtrip. She was advised to get new tires and we did just that. 5-days later one of her tires was losing air. Looked all over and no signs of a puncture or anything stuck in her tire. She took it in on July 5th after making an appointment to have it looked at. 2-hours later they said we cannot find anything wrong with the tire so they just aired it up and sent her on her way. On July 11th the tire had gone down again so she took it back to the auto center after an hour they told her that she had a crack in her rim and that she would need to have it replaced. We informed them that they must have cracked the rim when replacing the tires because she had no issues with her tires holding air prior to Walmart auto center replacing her tires. The manager, Marti said there was nothing they would do but forward this case to Walmart legal department. So now we are supposed to wait for Walmart legal department to get back to her. In the meantime, air up her tire every four or five days because it won't hold air. Terrible customer service and we will never use Walmart auto center for anything again. I noticed this before with Meadow Gold buttermilk but I thought I should tell you how bad it was. It used to be good. There is another brand of buttermilk that I have bought at Walmart before and it was nice and thick and it tasted just fine but it isn't always available but Meadow Gold is really bad. I appreciate the help of the pharmacist and the techs in getting my emergency prescriptions filled for me. I was on vacation from California and forgot my maintenance medications. The pharmacist was very helpful to call my pharmacy in California. He's on the phone for awhile and he was able to get my prescriptions transferred and available for me. They are making the store more like a warehouse and less like a store. The are pushing so hard for you to use their app they don't use any of our smartphones quick and easy payment options like Apple Pay. I've been going to this Walmart now for well over a year. Probably one of the better Walmart's from those I've visited across the country. This is mostly due to the staff. I can honestly say, the staff I've interacted with have been very professional and helpful. Selection is good for food to household items. I've never been a fan of Walmart produce but this Walmart does pretty well with the freshness of their produce. The deli has a nice selection and staff are quick to answer questions and even give you a sample if you're looking to purchase an item. The other typical areas of Walmart are normally well stocked and staff appear to always be monitoring or keeping stock up. The parking area is large and normally pretty clean. It's a busy place so if you have an RV or larger vehicle, it could be tight at peak times. In the length of time, I've been going here, I've never had a bad experience. read more

LARGE Walmart (hence the "Supercenter") that seems to attract the typical Walmart-y. I was surprised that in this area (Cedar City), they didn't have any selection of hand-held GPS units to help you find your way while racing down the OHV trails in and around Duck Creek. Wha?! I asked the sports and electronic area employees and they both weren't very helpful. When I asked the sports area employee about handheld GPS units his answer was, "No", not "No, but you should try...". They just didn't seem to care very much. We have an adult son who is disabled and he came to visit us on Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately, his group home did not send his wheelchair. I stopped at Walmart to see if we could buy one, since he visits us regularly and it would make his visits so much easier. Unfortunately all the wheelchairs were in boxes, unassembled. It was Black Friday, so the store was BUSY! I spoke to a woman who was a "Zone Manager" (I wish I had her name). She said very nicely "of course we can help you" with a smile. She arranged to have a wheelchair assembled by a Walmart employee in just a few minutes! That absolutely made our weekend! It was truly incredible customer service! Thank you!!!!!!
