While I was in town recently, I noticed the store in Cedar City and I wanted to check it out. I'm in the market for a few new pieces in my wardrobe and had hoped I could find something here. I was greeted by an employee, but he quickly turned away after saying hello. There was a group of young employees all congregated talking to each other and didn't offer assistance. I am one that will spend a good amount of money if I feel like the sales associate is being helpful and making my shopping experience pleasant. But I was on my own here, and didn't see anything that really popped out to me, so I put my cinnamon bears back and moved on.

She used the bathroom which had no TP or paper towels so needed to use seat cover as TP. Then, in order to check out we were asked to walked through the zig zag line through the stuff when there wasn't a single customer in line. My mom was beat by the time she did this and then expected to walk to the car that's parked so far away. Will not return! Please train employees to make exceptions when seeing a person that cannot walk too!

And I've worn them twice! I believe thats wrong... people buy from these stores in good faith; and stores need to honor what they sell. If they sell junk, they should expect returns. But TJMAX wont take these pants back because I've worn them twice, as opposed to once! That even sounds stupid, so I searched for my receipt, and they were paid for on a credit card who will back what I purchase on that card. I am saying no more! Wrong, is wrong! The bank will file a dispute to refund my money (for both pairs!) And then never again will I buy the junk clothes sold in this store!

This store didn't carry some of the products that we find at other Walmart's. The Walmart Supercenter is set up like most other supercenters. It was clean with a deli & grocery on one end and pharmacy/home goods on the other. I'm not a big fan of Walmart (lowering quality of things for a cheap price) but in this small town, you go different places to find different things.. The deli was very clean, hot food like chicken bites (tasty) real hot and deli meat & cheese with salads look clean and neat. The produce is good quality with some variety but they won't stock bean sprouts (?) or the usual veggies & fruit-although they do not stock the more unusual shishito peppers. The basic veggies looked good but the fruits didn't have a large stock. We probably would go to the Walmart again if I needed some product while in the area that I couldn't find at the other grocery.

(I don't really prefer this tactic, but I guess most of their clients are probably tourists who don't know that the "sale" is actually the every day price.) There are lots of name brand items and cute clothes for almost everybody. I say "almost' because the sizes seemed to only go up to the average sized body. If you've got any curves or "more to love" there might be fewer items her for you. Anyway, if I'm in town and have the itch to do some clothes or shoe shopping, I'd be happy to stop by Duke's.
