We live in Montana and usually shop Laurel Walmart because Billings Walmart is sketchy and too many empty shelves. In Casper, we visit family three or four times a year. I like shopping the Casper Walmart. It's well stocked and I usually find things I can't get at home and they have a varied selection. It must be well liked and well shopped because parking is a bear. They need more checkout clerks. The lines for "live" checkouts was backed up. The lines for the "self checkout" was backed up. They have two sections for self checkout and the one section was closed. I've never had a bad incident occur with the Walmart East store in Casper Wyoming. They are good employees and they've always treated me well. And I am an annoying kind of guy. Casper Wyoming Walmart I'm from Wisconsin but have a dear friend in Evansville Wyoming who is alone without means to get even bare necessities. No clean water ( no running water at all) , no vehicle and can't walk beyond a few yards because of failed spine surgery. She is running low on life sustaining materials. When I called (hoping to speak with a manager this wonderful Walmart associate volunteered to help! My friend Brandi is being taken care of and although I have been a Walmart customer for years I am so increasing my shopping at Walmart because of this wonderful act of kindness and generosity!! Came here to sleep in the parking lot and get some items from the store. The parking lot was nothing special, and relatively safe while sleeping in my car. The store, on the other hand, has some of the most helpful and friendlist employee I have ever encountered at a Walmart. I came in here a couple times over the course of three days, and every time I was left thoroughly impressed with the employees. Some even going out of their way to make sure I found what I needed. I was approached by employees while looking or things just so they could ask if I needed any help finding something. Most Walmart employees avoid customers like the plague, and having worked in retail for several years I can't blame them either. So it was refreshing to see a Walmart location that employs staff members that are customer-first oriented. read more

1 star because zero isn't an option. Pick up at this location is a joke. This is the Third time I have had to wait more than an hour past my pick up time. I don't live in Casper and I place my order the day before to ensure pick when I can be there. I didn't even get my groceries this time and had to cancel due to being informed it could be an additional 2 hours for my order. i asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one on duty. Third strike your out Walmart pick up. It's suppose to be convenient, not the case at this location. The first time I waited over an hour, I complained and got a $10 credit. The second time, while using the $10 credit code, I complained again for waiting over an hour no response from anyone. This time I got an email stating I could expect my refund in 5-7 business days. What if that was the only money I had for groceries? it was $146. People shouldn't have to wait for an hour much less up to three for a pick order. Walmart is 20 miles from my home. I will never use their pick up again and at this point I'm not sure I will shop there again. You have to check yourself out because they sometimes have one checker if you are lucky. This store needs new managers or something. read more

Nothing to really report that might be new information about this location. As most people know by now that if you are at Walmart you just might run into a circus sidedshow. If you are really lucky you might run into the bearded lady and the tattoed contortionist. If they are in a REALLY good mood you might get an autograph from them. You know, your typical shopping visit at Walmart. What is really rank here though is trying to get off and onto the road by the parking lot. The store is right across from the mall which makes a lot of traffic and add some stop lights to the mix and there is quite a bit of congestion at times. read more

Pretty nice Walmart. Bathrooms reasonably clean. Vegetables are not at their best. Books can be found near the electronics department. The person in the jewelry Dept was most helpful & did not mind helping me put a new band on my watch. They had a few more cashiers working, than most stores. The wait was not quite as long. They also a very nice selection of sewing notions, craft supplies & a few oddities in that area. Really appreciated that. The place was pretty busy. The cashiers were pleasant & helpful. read more

We work travel and use Walmart Pharmacies all over the US. Brianna is the worst tech we've ever encountered. Not only is she rude, she doesn't know her job. I asked for their fax number to give our doctor. She said she isn't allowed to give it out. I have Walmart fax numbers in my phone for every Walmart we've ever used. It isn't a secret. As a nurse, so I'm familiar with procedure. We had a issue with our ins. not wanting to pay. I said, "they're probably wanting a prior authorization from the doctor." She argued, and said, "No, they want the doctor to send them something saying why you need it." I told her, "That's called a prior authorization." She still wanted to argue about it. Because the medication cost $1000, and my husband was completely out, I said, "I'll just purchase 3 pills and give the authorization time to go through." She said, "I'm not sure we can do that. I'll have to ask." "Uh, yeah, you can." Again she wanted to argue. I've had contact with her at least five times. Four of those she was argumentative and incompetent. There was a young, blonde haired pharmacist that was just as rude and incompetent. The rest of the pharmacy staff tried to be helpful. Nevertheless, hopefully, we won't need to use this pharmacy any more before we leave. read more

Easy to get to and close to hotels which is great for this traveler. I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping trip to this Walmart. It was large, well stocked in a neat and tidy manner, and clean. I shopped in comfort and bought much more than I went in for. There are many Walmart's on the east coast (specifically NC) that needs to take a lesson from this store. read more

Its your average walmart. Nothing very spectacular. I like to get my groceries here because they are much cheaper than any of the other grocery stores in town. They have a decently large produce section and the meat department has great prices. I wish the pet section had better quality items though. The pet food brands carried by this store are terrible... Garbage brands like old roy, beneful, kibbles and bits. I would never buy these. And this store really should not sell live fish. None of the staff is knowledgeable and the tanks are so small, dirty and crowded; And the fish are pretty much guaranteed to be sick or dying unless you manage to get there on the day they are delivered. This store would do better to either get rid of the tanks altogether (and stop selling bettas too) or get a nicer system of aquariums and someone who can stay in the pet department all the time who knows about proper care and husbandry. read more

I shop at Walmart a lot but I have to take someone with me because a several item I want it too high up for me to reach. I am short, older and have arthritis. It is Thoughtless, Incentive, Discriminating and Rude. For example the last time I was there I wanted a particular bag of salad and it was on the very top and there was about 5 pegs across the top of that item. WHY NOT HAVE A SINGLE PEG GOING DOWN 5 PEGS SO I COULD REACH IT. I often leave and don't get what I want or hurt myself trying to reach something. There are a lot of older people who shop there and a lot of disabled individuals. You are losing money because sometimes we have to go someplace else or just do without. Other stores are the same way but Walmart is the one I try to use the most. Please never put an item only on a top shelf. read more

I have been a customer ever since I could remember here at this Walmart. Unfortunately as of late it seems as if they single me out by asking for my receipt every single time rather my items are in a bag or if I have them out of there bag or if they are small or big they always seem to surround me and demand a receipt which I gladly honor their request and show them but it's still getting old believe me if I wanted to steal from you I wouldn't bring my items up to the self check out or the registers and have my items in plain site with intentions on buying things I am a grown man that works for a living and raises my children I do not not to be watched and harassed every time I shop I'll be going to the west Walmart from now on read more

Very disappointed with online grocery pickup. I arrived at the store to get my groceries and they forgot a whole tote of groceries they realized then went back in to get it. After arriving home i was missing a whole other bag of groceries tried to call to have them refund them and was directed to an 800 number. This Review is for the pharmacy.. My little brother gets his meds from this location. The lead pharmacist Dez rocks. She's really gone out of her way to make sure he has everything he needs. She remembered everything about his situation and went out of her way to try to order him a special item needed for his recovery. She reminds him about any medications he might need to refill and also calls to resolve any conflicts with workmans comp. she goes out of her way to make sure that patients have what they need. It's reassuring knowing that he has her to help. Thanks for being so awesome! read more

Employees are overall really nice and store is always clean. I don't like their stocking issues though. Either they are out completely or not stocked. They need to keep up with items they consistently run out of: examples: big pack of gel pens, sea weed, variety flavors of meal drinks, emertrol, light tampax, etc. These things I've listed above as consistent buys from me but finding them in stock without having to come back a couple times is rough, especially being disabled read more

So I found a car seat on WalMart.com that was cheaper online than in the store. I choose to go in the store to buy the car seat. Now I have done price match with Walmart before so I know the regulations of how it works. I showed that lady at the customer service desk the car seat on Walmart.com and the price. The lady gets her phone and scans the car seat. The same car seat comes up but in a different color. She says this says the price is online only and it higher online. I tell her you have to switch the color to pink and and see the price changes. She looks at me and goes this is interesting. So she reads the name of the car seat and it's the same one I have in my cart. So she calls the manager because she says it's different. I explain to her if you see the color and the name is the same could there be a mix up with the bar code because the one you keep looking at (which was dark brown) isn't the same one as the one I want. After the manager comes he acts as he is bothered by being called over. He looks at her phone as says you have to get the same one to get the price online. So I show him my phone and explains to him she is looking at a different color. She buts in and says but if you scan the car seat this what's comes up. I explain that if you choose the color I have the price does drop. He tells me it's not the same. My question was how when it looks the same and the name/brand is the same. He get frustrated and say gives it to her. The lady looks at me as she has done a flavor for me and says it's really not the same.. I ask the question how? Because of the bar code? Clearly you see it's the same as he does or he wouldn't said give it to me. Then she says well it did say online only but he says it's fine. I had to explain to her that I am very aware of how price matches work and Walmart always matches their online prices as long as it says it's in stock online and it's the same item. She rings it up and states we dont do price matches with online only. LIES!!! I just did this last week with no problem. Walmart's stores are a hit or miss with the employees. I have bought my groceries and other items here at the 2nd street store, since moving to Wyoming 30 yrs ago. Now they have decided to try and force us customers into online shopping...which means every Tuesday I shop between 8-9am. Now they have only 1 register open with an older lady at it. You either wait in a long line or check out yourself. This is BS, I dont work at Walmart, if I wanted to spend an hour shopping, then check myself out, that would be great. I dont want to do my own check out, and bagging. Its BS, stop trying to force people in to your little robots. You're prices have increased, I know because I spend $1200-1500 a month there. Im ready to go elsewhere, where customer service is still a priority. read more

I got ripped off at the Casper Wyoming CY Walmart today. In their Garden Department they have a garden shed marked with a regular price and a sale price. I told an associate I would take it and she said she would get a supervisor. Her supervisor came back and ripped off the stickers and said that Walmart had "bought" that shed and it wasn't for sale. She was unable to provide me with her supervisor and I eventually had to leave. I feel that shed has probably sat there the entire off season with no takers and it should of been sold to me the same as anything else at the store with an intact sales sticker. I will not go to this WM anymore. I went to purchase a new shower head and on my way out was blocked by a very large male employee. He asked to see my receipt. When I asked why, he said there has been a lot of theft. I asked to speak to a Manager. He told me as of a week ago they check EVERYONE that leaves the store. I can see checking people taking out a TV or large item, but I had a small bag. I returned my items and will not be back. The store wasn't busy and there was 3 people in line to be "checked". I can't imagine the line when it's actually busy. My advice is to go to the West Side Walmart. The store is much cleaner and the employees are more professional and friendly. read more

Wal-Mart is Wal-mart, but this one was downright unfriendly and understaffed on Friday the 13th in the late evening. I was looking for swamp cooler parts and supplies. Looked in all the normal places but couldn't find anything. Not even any window a/c units or floor fans. Also nobody on the floor to ask. Went to the open checkout lane (the one for cigarettes) and asked the young woman there where to look. She said "back in the far corner by the hardware". Two problems there- back in that corner was all cheap fishing equipment, not hardware. Also no cooling equipment anywhere near. I did find a young man who was stocking the pet section, so I asked him the same question. He told me the truth; that they don't carry anything like that. He was pleasant and seemed willing to help, unlike the cashier whose attitude struck me as "don't bother me; please go away". read more

This is for the eye doctor and vision center. I would rate lower if I could. While both the Dr and staff are very friendly, there is nothing else positive I can share. The Dr prescribed me a $230 eye drop that insurance wouldn't pay. After I paid out of pocket I was told there's a generic version for $40 and an off brand of that sold otc for 12! It didn't help anyway. Came to pick up my glasses and they were so far off I couldn't even leave the store. When I got them back a week later they were better but still seemed as if something was wrong. While there 2 different customers came in to complain that their prescription was off too! Was never even fitted, just told to come back with any issues. The Dr told me I had eye allergies. Went to a different Dr for a 2nd opinion and I'm very glad I did. I can see!! Not only was the prescription wrong, came to find I had no allergy at all and issue was due to lack of cornea oxygen. Was given a relatively cheap 2 week med and cleared it right up. My glasses were again off, pupil distance wrong and ground wrong so as to produce odd glares. Had to basically pay twice for everything walmart couldn't do rigjt the first or even 2nd time. Please please do not go to this Dr or eye center. They aren't that much cheaper and after I paid twice it's easy to see they weren't cheaper at all. read more

For years this has been the Ghetto Walmart of the two. When it opened here in Casper it had the grand opening weeks after it was opened and they in the middle of the morning hustled all the customers up to the front of the store like cattle and we had to wait there until they had the manager do his employee rah rah of the place and give a speech. I hate going in there for the fact it has terrible customer service, the pharmacy is some of the most elitist acting people in the state and the place is either littered with pallets, boxes in the isles or just blocked off and you have to go into the other end. Most of the employees act like I'm in the way if they need to pass by for some reason and will not stop to ask if I need help. The slovenly people they have at the entry point stopping only certain people won't even get up off the chair they have to sit in because they are so fat when they check your receipt for theft products in your cart. They get pissed when I make them get and come to me, as I will not go over to them. They want to look at my receipt. read more

What TICKS ME OFF Is that Walmart will move everything around, So an item You wanted to buy won't ever be in the same place the next time You need it. They Must Think That The Longer You Are Looking For An Item, The More Likely You are To Buy More Than You Planed. I DON"T, Because I know they just want to keep me in the store longer thinking the longer I'm Having to look for something I'm More Likely To Spend MORE of my Fixed Income. ALL I WANT TO DO IS GET IN AND GET OUT! NOT SPEND THE DAY LOOKING FOR THE PLACE THEY MOVED MY ITEM THAT WAS THERE LAST WEEK AND FIND IT MOVED. I think they must have loved putting in new TILE. Example would be I wanted something in the pet supplies that WERE on the FAR SOUTH/ WEST Corner, And hours later after not finding anyone to ask where they put PET SUPPLIES. I found Pet Supplies move all the way over the opposite NORTH/EAST corner. But Keep in mind that Even without putting new tile in the whole store (MAKING IT UNBEARABLE TO SHOP) They will Continue their POLICY Of Moving everything to different places to keep you in the store longer. I HATE IT. JUST WANT TO GO IN AND GET OUT. NOT HUNT FOR EVERYTHING I NEED. read more
