Excellent place to go for healthy products in town. From vitamins to food items. They even have other things to look at or buy. Even lotions or natural deodorants or shampoos or what ever you've in mind. We recommend it and the people who work there are so kind. read more

Just moved to Casper and was looking for something on the lines of Trader Joes or something similar. Natural Grocers was a very pleasant surprise for me. It has everything from good produce , local meats and a variety of Organic grocery options. The best part is the friendly staff and the amazing service. Natural, Organic, goodness! Solid selection of produce. Local meats (mostly colorado) Bison, Elk, Chicken, Lamb - you name it, they have it. Excellent selection of bulk spices, and grains. I got elderberry seeds, cardamom, cayenne, cinnamon, cumin, quinoa, couscous and more! So happy that this exists in Casper and I know I can get quality product. This place is a GEM for Casper. I have been coming to this town every year to work the marching band festival, and as a health conscious vegan from the bay area, Casper doesn't have much to offer me. Until now! This place has all my favorite vegan comfort food; Tofurkey frozen pizza, Daiya vegan cheese (amazing stuff), faux meats, organic snack food comparable to any whole foods, and a small section of organic produce. The organic produce isn't anything to write home about (yet), but they've only been open 4 months so will probably be able to order smarter once they figure out demand better. Plus I'm spoiled with Berkeley Bowl back in California; best organic produce imaginable. VERY friendly employees; you can tell they want to be there and believe in good food. Normally this would be a 4 star review but this is bumped to 5 stars because this is Casper (hah, sorry Casper). Give this place your business!! read more

Oasis of food options. In a land of unhealthy (although tasty) food, this place saves me from gaining 100lbs and feeling unhealthy. Not too bad on price compared to whole foods/farmers markets/Ect. I have a long ongoing relationship with NG. Judge me not but one of my life goals is to visit them all. Having said that and realizing I'm in Casper I am both very grateful I have a Natural Grocers and yet slightly let down. They have all you would expect but lack some of the little things. Like I said Casper. There are a couple people that work there that are great people and always have a smile... But some of the employees seem like there just for a paycheck. I do believe that is vindictive of Casper however. Most NGs I have visited are very involved and have samples as well as offer a fruit to youngsters while mom and dad shop. Nothing extra here. But like I said I'm glad I have one at all. Beggars can't be choosers... but they can voice there opinion on Yelp ;) Four stars read more

Best grocery store for food quality in Casper. Friendly staff. We do most of our grocery shopping here now and try to avoid the supermarkets. I do not find them expensive. Much of the produce is regionally grown (Colorado) and it's all organic. The organic, whole chickens are unbelievably good. Richer, more-chickeny flavor that the frankenchickens you get at most supermarkets. I'm eating cleaner than ever. I just commented to hubby the other day, "I don't know what we were eating before this store opened". Love this place. read more

I have asked for a specific laundry soap about 3 months ago. I asked to be notified; if they can get it in. I still haven't been notified!!! I also spoke to them about carrying more variety of VEGAN cheese, because the brand Daiya is owned by a company that tests on animals. This brand consumes most of their VEGAN products!!! read more

I accidentally left my sunglasses there and I called and Irene answered and said that she found them in the cart and put them up for me. So I went back to get them and I tried to tip her because they are $300 glasses and she said no I'm not taking your money just give me a hug. I was already impressed with the store everything is organic,unlike sprouts I have to make sure I'm getting organic. Love my new store and love the girls that work there. read more

This store has some great produce, especially the apples, which will assault your mouth with a flavor that is very unlike what you might be used to if you get your apples at regular grocery stores... The bulk herbs are usually a pretty good deal too, and there's a lot of them. The issues I have are not really about quality, but the prices and rather limited selection of items, especially compared to some other stores in the region. I'll start with some positives. Everyone is nice, almost to the point of being intrusive, and there are some things like c20 coconut water and really bad ass chocolate and pesto and good free range chicken... Grass fed beef; all of which you don't get everywhere else...which is great! AND a lot of supplements, even hemp seeds (much to William Randolph Hurst's dismay) but to a lot of people it might be a little unrealistic to shop here for everything as it is relatively expensive, although not without a reason. The meat is all from Colorado which means less food miles... Some of the produce travels a long way and doesn't suffer in quality- but even if it doesn't, processed garbage is a lot cheaper, and therein lies the problem. It's a symptom of how ridiculous and compromised America has become when it's less costly to get a package of corn dogs made from a vaguely meat like substance then some good asparagus...unfortunately a lot of food like this can't be sold at Walmart prices and that's where I run into a little conflict. This store has most categories of items youd find but in a more limited way, I shouldn't expect everything to be a monolithic super center where you get to buy corn flakes by the silos but I won't lie, it's hard to not feel that the inventory is limited. I feel that getting good nutrition and eating quality food is a priority, and I don't mind spending more, but I still have to take some of the prices with a grain of salt. There is a practical reason that some of this food is priced the way it is, but it's also obvious that the business of organic food retail isn't devoid of its own gouging, some things are ridiculously expensive here. But unlike Alpenglow, this is not the retail version of a dude in dreadlocks wearing a crystal around his neck who reads a couple verses from the Bhagavad Gita and claims enlightenment and tries to sleep with every house wife that comes into his yoga studio. Truthfully I shop here a lot and especially for produce,sometimes there are good deals, quinoa is cheaper than you'll find it in a lot of places and so are the herbs and spices..this is a good store but I can't pretend like its as awesome as everyone else is saying, because for the average person who's just trying to keep there head above water it's not practical to shop here, but I'm glad it's in Casper. It's always nice to have more choices. Despite some gripes I'd recommend this place. read more

Nice. Clean. Organized. Friendly and positive employees. My wife and I used to frequent Whole Foods in Fort Collins, but now we don't have to anymore! If you are looking for vegetarian or gluten-free or just want to eat healthier and feel better about what you consume, Natural Grocers is your place. I'm not into the supplements and homeopathic stuff, but if that's your thing, they have a huge selection of that, too. Yes, it would be nice if they had a deli-style food bar with ready-to-go hot food (like Whole Foods), but we can't complain. So glad we have this place in Casper! read more

They have the best produce, and if you want to get started on a healthier track, this is the best place to start. They have all the best foods and so many organic, gluten free and cruelty free options. They also have a huge section of supplements and vitamins. The store manager is not experienced at all in nutrition. Where do you get off being the manager of a health-food store when your experience has been in working at the airport? Also, the customer service is horrible; they stand behind their employees rather than attempt to satisfy the customer. When challenged or asked why they are constantly out of product, they, like pod people, go completely to pieces and are delicate doilies. Their prices are outrageous because they do realize they are, for the most part, the only game in town, and are taking advantage of it. That's what Natural Grocers does, i.e., they won't move into any area where they might have real competition, e.g. a Whole Foods or other health-food stores available where you might have the option of shopping elsewhere for the same product at a lower price. read more
