The store is rather small but does offer all the essential one might need while on the road. Hot food and ice cream is also available as well as a small picnic area to relax. And for you fishermen there's also fish and tackle equipment sold here. Restrooms facilities are available and clean. There is a small gas station on-site should you need. Should you find yourself in this part of town and in need of snacks, fuel or a restroom break this is the spot.

While the gas tank was filling up, we used the restrooms and checked out the general store. Restroom was clean for the Men! This friendly general store sold ice cream!! Yes!! They sell Cascade Glacier ice cream brand, and both my wife and I each purchased a couple of scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone. We were both happy with our choices. She with her Blackberry Cobbler, and I with my Wild Huckleberry!! Sloanes General Store made for a terrific pit stop along this highway in Wyoming! A welcome sight!!

It included 2 orders of rolls, 5 sides, 2 kinds of meat, and 2 desserts. I was assigned a pick up time of 7pm-8pm, they got my order together and shuffled us out the door. When I got home and was unloading my car, I realized they had forgotten one of the rolls. I called them at 7:23pm and asked if I could come back and get them, and they said "well we are only here for 15 minutes so you need to hurry"..... (when we got there, they had tables full of food waiting to get picked up still so not sure why the rude comment about hurrying was necessary. I understand wanting to go home but YOU chose to do a 7-8pm pickup time and YOU forgot part of my order) I didn't receive any printed instructions on reheating/baking but realized later on that other customers had printed instructions so not sure why we didn't get any for our order. I spent $350 and was very disappointed in the meal. The rolls were hard, the sides lacked flavor, the dessert was just okay. Maybe I had my expectations too high after seeing all of the pictures they had posted of the food. What REALLY gets me is the lack of customer service.. the response from the owner on reviews and via email. That alone made me never want to support this business again, and then add in the wasted $350 meal and now I really won't be back. This used to be my favorite place to take my kiddos for Saturday morning donuts but after seeing the owners responses to customers and how I was spoken to on the phone about the forgotten rolls- I'll find a different local business to support.

We both ordered the chicken tender basket with drink plus a small blizzard. The blizzard was a $2 upgrade from the sundae. It was definitely worth it. We also added small cheese curds. I love that the young man that took our order made sure when my name was called the rest of the staff knew how to pronounce my name. I have never had that happen. That is impeccable customer service. The tenders were good. The fries were good. Is this my favorite meal....no BUT I love the heated queso and hot white gravy to go with our meal. The cheese curds were so great! Eat them while they are HOT! Delicious! We also asked for our blizzards to come after our meal so they also allowed us to wait. When our food was ready, they brought it over to our table. When we finished our meal we let them know we were ready for our blizzards, showed out receipts and then they brought those to us also. The blizzards made the meal even greater! This location was very clean, I typically notice ac vents and these were very clean. I love the windows to let all the light in and the nice freezer section with ice cream goodies and cakes. I had to call and ask if they had beer as well as liquor and wine, LOL. Turns out they have a great selection of beer too! We had never seen a crowler filling station in a liquor store, SO COOL! We need that in MN! The staff member who filled our crowlers was super helpful and recommended a stout we really love. We even got to taste some of the beers.
