Going in store is usually fine, Club Pick-ups are almost always a mess. The associates often forget entire boxes from my order, usually the cold items, and we don't notice until we get home that we're missing items. We live 45 miles away so to drive back to get the items will cost us a decent amount in diesel and time. I've started checking better before leaving Casper but sometimes it's hard to go through the whole order when it's all stacked up in the back of my truck. When I call the store to let them know my box is still sitting in the coolers they claim I have to be present to get a refund and the refund will be a Sams gift card. Why should I have to take the time and pay for fuel to fix their mistake? Every other store can credit me back on my card. They can check the cooler and find my missing items loaded into a box that they forgot to take out. It doesn't make any sense that they can't refund me on the card they charged for the items. About every other time I do a club pick-up, the associates will come out to the pick up area to ask me to pull into the loading dock to get my grocery order. The loading dock at this store is always full of pedestrians and other vehicles. I used to pull into it when they asked, but by the time I get through all the cars and pedestrians and wait for the other vehicles to pull forward in the loading dock, I could've been loaded and back on the road, had they just brought my cart to the designated pick-up parking spots we're told to park in. A few times I have been blocked in by other vehicles under the loading dock and had to sit and wait 15 mins after getting my groceries loaded. I've been told by the manager, Bryan that the associates have been told not to ask us to go to the loading dock for grocery orders, but when I tell them this they tell me their manager has never told them that and act like I'm just trying to be difficult. I don't like to be difficult, but I feel like the loading dock is already too crowded with the people exiting the store and other vehicles parked there, going both direction through it. I tell them I have emails from the manager stating this and they get mad and go in and send someone else out with my cart. If the club pick-up area is so hard for them to push carts to, why not put it right along the building near the door they use? They always tell me it's dangerous for them to get my cart across the road, but they don't seem to care when it's customers pushing carts across the road. This has been going on for about 3 years now. It'll get better for a couple months then it starts back up again. Maybe new associates coming in don't realize it's a liability for them to have customers cramming in the loading dock for small items. It's nice with kids in car seats to just pull up and not have to haul the kids inside the store, but for now we'll be shopping in store until they get the club pick up parking sorted out. read more
