They wouldn't price match something that they sold in stores, same name but on a different website for cheaper. Ridiculous

I lost my driver's license last week and got a temporary paper one that's good until I get my permanent one. Well, I went in to get a money order and the guy behind the service center wouldn't let me use it. He told me that I needed my passport then. He wasn't nice or apologetic. Not a people person at all. They give us the wrong items and green bananas. We said no substitutions and received them anyway q('^')p

This is mostly based on the Grocery Pickup vs inside the store as I love that they have the option to order items online. Though I can't accurately comment on the substitutions and "out of" items once I head to the store, my most recent trip was a disappointment. My new items in my cart didn't transfer over to my already made order, despite being within the timeframe (this has happened 3 times so far) I'm hoping the new app will be better! I found out some items weren't available, though several alternative options were still available, the hardest part was going inside the store right after only to see those items were actually available. Or the substitutes made were face palm worthy. Out of a very small order I had "cheddar brats" and a pack of hotdog buns. The brats were unavailable, but they made up for the buns by giving me double! I now have 16 buns and nothing to put them in.....? Time for a bun casserole!! Keep in mind, this is as of COVID so I understand things happen... I'm thankful enough with having the option in the first place, and for the no contact when picking them up. Given the craziness the store was decently clean. It was so nice to see an employee wiping off the carts for customers to grab on the way in. That they were protected with PPE as well as the cashiers having shields up in place. Big kudos for all the signs around the store reminding people to stay 6 ft away, as well as guides of "enter this way" and "do not enter" at the opposite end. Theres no way you can miss all the signs and warnings up. What I am disappointed in: my fellow people. We are lucky enough to have stores open so we don't starve or can get items we need..... why oh why do people not follow the guides? Constantly people were going down the wrong side of the aisle ultimately blocking people in. Grouping together so others can't pass or get out. This is irresponsible. I can see if someone tried to hurry up and grab something, but laziness never wins. It's not just about yourself, think of others. Some of us don't have masks to protect ourselves and need them due to the higher chance of vulnerability, like myself. Trust me when I say I didn't want to be there, but I had others that relied on me to get those items ASAP. Thank you to Walmart for remaining open, the kind workers that still come in to help the community out, for taking extra measures to protect your workers and customers, and for doing the best that you guys can. I'm proud of this store(as well as the others??) for making specific hours for those that are vulnerable. We appreciate you and the hard work doesn't go unnoticed. read more

4 items on my receipt were never bagged. I called, they said I have to go back to the store, go to customer service, get a refund, and then I can buy those items again. Why should I have to waste my time for their screw up? Maybe next time I hold up the line and make sure all my items I bought are in bags. I can play this game too Walmart. read more

When their employee forgets some of your order once again in the bags when you leave after asking if that's everything and you have to spend over 40 minutes to go back and forth from there and waste about $15.00 in gas to get your missing items and the manager scotty seems to think its funny when you call on the phone and will not reimburse you for the time and gas ( cause its free of course to go back) and tells you that's its your responsibility as well to do the cashiers job so essentially its your fault they forgot to give you all your items as well. I went to Walmart the other day and I guess it was shift change cause it was around 5pm. They only had 1register open and the self serve lanes open. The linens were long. You can tell people we're getting frustrated cause management wasn't opening up more lanes after a lady confronted an assistant manager that was walking the floor. To no avail with the situation I seen the lady get really irritated by the situation. I guess she thought no one was paying attention she decided to take her goods right out the door without paying for them. The door alarm didn't even go off and she had a cart full. All I could do is shake my head. This is Walmarts problem. read more

It used to be a nice Walmart when it just opened. Ever since the management has changed it turned into a dump with garbage all over the place - in the parking lot, and in store in self checkout area -everywhere! It is the dirtiest Walmart in all Minneapolis! On the weekday or weekend, doesn't matter the shelves are half empty and messy; employees are rude and ignorant... This Walmart is a shame for our nice clean neighborhood; the premises around it look like a landfill! You are a multi-billion dollar company - is it so hard to hire a couple of garbage pickers for your premises and employees that are paid enough to care not to store your products on the floor; keep them organized and appealing, and not to store plastic bags in self checkout area on the floor??? read more

This store is not promoting cleanliness and social distancing!! It's gross. I watch the self check out area and the employee didn't clean any of the self checkout terminals the entire time. I watched for at least 15 minutes. He just sat there and didn't move. In that timeframe, at least 5-10 people when through each terminal. I asked the employee why he wasn't cleaning the terminals. He said it's impossible??? No. It's not impossible. Target does it. They don't allow another customer to use their terminals until it's cleaned after each person. He sat there and just watched doing nothing. I went back two days later. Same thing. The Walmart employees are either not trained by management or just lazy. We will not be going back. read more

I went to the Walmart today in Fridley at 6pm I wanted a simple refund on a Onn tablet I bought. It worked but couldn't connect to my wifi at home. The lady at customer service tried to give me an attitude and raising her voice I simply told her do you have any manners? I told her to stop raising her voice at me. My dog at home acts better than you. I understand your job is stressful but in this COVID-19 pandemic. The customer service manager wasn't help she wasn't doing her job and was talking to her coworkers ignoring customers. The tablet wasn't out of warranty I bought it two days ago I walked out not satisfied a horrible experience. 25 minutes in line for customer service people coming and leaving 5 people ahead of me and asked for a manager no one comes. Total time waiting was 30 min and I had a receipt took me less then 3 minutes. 2nd time I have tried to return items last time machines were down. All kinds of employees standing around use to be a good store now it's just as bad as the one on Ball Rd. Disappointing. read more

Low prices has what your looking for no items of shelf. There food is served fast sometimes cards are mixed up in the wrong spots

Quick and easy shopping. I don't recommend asking them for any financial assistance (money gram etc.) At this place.

Forewarning: in terms of Walmart, I'm probably biased because the ones I usually frequent out East are horrendous. I believe this Walmart Supercenter recently opened in the past year or so. Walmart Supercenters weren't really a thing in the area, but I think Walmart is trying to fight a good battle against all the Super Targets around. Though I am still biased toward Super Target, I was actually very impressed with this location. It is HUGE! It has an extensive grocery selection, and the quality seem to be pretty ok. This location is also kept very clean and there are very few rogue shopping carts scattered about the parking lot (a personal pet peeve). The one thing Walmart just can't seem to win (in comparison to Target) is the quality of service. Although it was not bad, it was also not good. read more

Went from my go to store to I'll never shop here again. Scott in your deli meats area should be fired. He approached my young 6 year old daughter ranting and raving about a mess in his area that she did not create. We approached the deli meats and my daughter walked up to the lunchables that were all in disorts and he blamed it all on her, which it wasn't. He verbally assualted her then was completley inappropriate with me. Very unprofessional and a complete jerk. My daughter was in balling after and visibally shaken, is how mean he was, then walked in fear the rest of the trip. I almost just walked out with my cart being full right there! He shouldn't step foot in a customer service type industry, he's a complete jerk to customers with no regard. I'll no longer be shopping here until he is gone. Target, Aldi, Cub, soon to be Hy-Vee will get my business moving forward. Really he's an embarrassment to your complete organization and should be fired. The nerve just threw me. I'm the consumer and I have options that I'll now exercise by not choosing to shop here anymore! I called this store asking if they had a particular phone in stock and the employee said "yes we have several..." I drove 40 minutes to the store only to find out that not only did he not actually check inventory but they didn't have any phones in stock for my carrier... (seriously?). So, I asked about purchasing a phone for another carrier and the lady working electronics told told me that I couldn't pay full price for a phone without an agreement (incorrect) and that I couldn't buy a phone at night... (what?) The employees were so unknowledgeable and so unhelpful it was just ridiculous. Definitely come shop here if you don't need any help... but if you do... you're out of luck!! read more

The customer service is terrible. Had to wait 8 mins when only person in line for in store pick up. Tried to return said item was refused and told to come back later and there was nothing they could do. Seems like every person I delt with except the greeter hated there job. read more

It's amazing to me that across America all the Walmart's are the same. This included the level of customer service, perpetually poor! They have at least 15 check out lanes and only 2 open. It's definitely not Target, in this sense. Even the people on the floor don't want to help and seem pissed off that they have to work there! Go to the Target down the road! read more

Yesterday on Christmas Eve, I had to make a return. The 3 women at the customer service counter were talking with each other, and seemed uninterested in the people they had to help. At the electronics counter, the assistant manager helped us. He was kind and really wanted to help. It's a good place, but some of the workers are just uninterested and looked like they hated being there. read more
