To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the conduct and policy handling at Walmart Store #3731 in Bernalillo, NM. On my recent visit, I attempted to return an unopened, unexpired container of baby formula that I had purchased in error. I did not have the receipt, but the item was in perfect condition and fully eligible for return under Walmart's standard no‑receipt return policy. Despite this, the store staff refused to process the return and stated they would only allow an exchange for the exact same formula, even though the product was the wrong type for my child. Walmart does not--and cannot--dictate what formula a parent feeds their baby, and forcing an exchange for the same item serves no legitimate purpose. This restriction is not supported by Walmart's published return policy and appears to be a misapplication of rules intended for expired or compromised grocery items, none of which applied here. I waited more than ten minutes for assistance, only to be met with dismissive service and an inflexible, incorrect interpretation of policy. The experience was unprofessional, unnecessarily adversarial, and entirely avoidable. I am requesting the following: A proper return of the unopened, unexpired formula that I cannot use ($75.97 + tax) Compensation for the time wasted due to the store's delay and mishandling ($500+) Confirmation that Store #3731 will be retrained on Walmart's actual return policies to prevent this from happening to other customers I expect a timely response and resolution. Just horrible. I don't get it you want us to do your job by checking ourselves out but you want to ACT like you are checking us on the way out but you don't. now that your call in order business is going crazy you chase ut of the aisle with your hoards of employee's selecting other people's groceries you are constantly in the way or just being flat out rude to the customers who do come in. I Don't get it????? You hate us, don't trust us really dont want us in the store but apparently we are the only idiots to put up with it and pay you to treat us this way. This location is pretty good. I come early and do a little grocery shopping. They are stocking the shelves, but it's easy to get in and out quickly. read more

Be VERY Careful when checking out at the Bernalillo Walmart. Multiple times the price listed on the shelf is not what rings up. I usually get an excuse from a WM employee that the item was in the wrong place. I have to get a Manager to allow me the listed shelf price. Also, I purchased several name brand bath towels that completely fell apart in the 1st wash. When I took them back, the person in Customer Service said they do not take back "used" product. She blamed my washer for the damage. I said that my other laundry is not shredded when run through my machine. Again, I had to see a Manager to get store credit. I shop here because it is convenient but, be careful. read more

I recently gave the wrong review that was meant for the Bernalillo Walmart Store..for the pick-up services..I push the wrong store (coors by pass location)will be calling that store to apologize..again the 1 rating and disappointment was and is for the Bernalillo Walmart Pick-up Store..Not the Coors Sam's pick-up..They do a great customer service. read more

The employees in this store have to be the most unfriendly and rude people I have come in to contact with while shopping. There are a couple cashiers that seem to be really nice and friendly but the rest of the staff are unhelpful, rude, stare at you with daggers, and I have had a couple even make really nasty comments for no reason. I think I'll find a new place to shop. After going there for years I'm done. read more

Have gone to this Walmart on and off for years. Due to various ongoing issues there, I'll shop some other store for awhile. End up coming back due to the convenient location. Many of these employees have serious attitude issues. I sympathize with their predicament in having to work for this place, but, don't take it out on me! The worst are usually what they call "greeters". These people average about 90 years old. A more obnoxious and cranky bunch of old men you'll never find. These greeters normally look at you with a dead eyed stare. Certainly not a smile or hi.That dead eyed stare seems prevalent with a lot of staff at this store. It's like walking into a herd of the undead. Don't even get me started on their lousy pharmacy. Word of advice, for the sake of your health and sanity, find another place to fill your scripts. I'm sure Walmart could care less about my less than cheerful review. They're Walmart, they don't have to. read more
