Ordered potato salad for delivery. Received salad that expired 8 days ago. Made 12 calls to store manager. No one ever answers the phone. The only person to help was Brandi. She should be store manager. The current manager needs to find another job. read more

Something shady going on here. tried to return an item , they said it was returned already, upon further investigating this it shows it was returned in Jackson Mississippi 10 days after purchase , was told try to find original receipt I found it and asked for refund got a manager named Randy and Auther involved who refunded it but gave me the same Return slip from JACKSOS N store dated 11 11 2025 not 1 11 2026 the day I returned it to his store where I purchased it, seems funny to me. read more

The store is well organized and the cashier's are competent and usually polite. However, the stock personnel have twice been rude on two separate occasions. I don't know why they feel entitled to block aisles with their carts, but they feel they instead of a customer has the right of way and your expected to find another route or aisle. And if you touch their cart to move it to one side, they get belligerent. This conduct from an employee towards a shopper is abhorrent and should be investigated by the management. read more

Terrible experience. my daughter and her friend went to walmart today they are having a Mardi Gras themed day at school next week we went to this Walmart to find Mardi Gras accessories. We were trying on one of the hats, and I walked away for a second when I came back. My kids were crying. A Karen employee yelled at my kids to put the hats down, even though all they were doing was trying them on I was going to buy them, but now I'm not. My kids are still mister for a grown woman to be yelling at them for no reason. read more

This is now my favorite Walmart Supercenter in town. I needed to grab a couple of items en route to a friend's home. This is smaller than the other insane Supercenters in town. It's a lot more clean and easily to maneuver through. Overall the staff was more friendly than other locations. There were a few issues with items not being stocked, but it was a busy weekend with graduations and what not. It's a bit out of the way for me to hit up regularly, but if i'm in that area, I will be happy to drop in for my needs. read more

It's easier to win the lottery than an associate to answer the phone at this Walmart.

It was 10:10 and they originally close at 11 that isn't the issue the issue was 4 workers tried to lie and say they were close even tho they were closing at 10:30 then when we actually made it into the store we had 3 more workers try to tell us they were close and literal worker tried to fight me because I wanted to go into Walmart like tf read more

I've been here maybe four times at this point...this Walmart is essentially brand new, however, the staff (for the most part) doesn't seem to be keeping it up and are not interested in actually helping customers and are more interested in talking to each other than doing their job. If the Albertson's up the road wasn't so god awful, I wouldn't come here. Still on the hunt for a decent grocery fairly convenient to my house. read more

The absolute worst Walmart I've ever been to, when you walk in it smells like worse body odor than a gym. And trying to go through the checkouts will take at least 30 minutes, if you need something unlocked you'll have to wander across the store to try and maybe find someone to unlock the shaving razors. I normally don't give reviews but I figured while I'm waiting for half an hour it'll give me something to do read more

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. We waited for curbside pickup for 1 hour and called every department in the store with no answer. Frankly, this is why I shop at Target. This was absolutely horrendous. If I wanted to take that long, I would have went and shopped for the items for myself. Absolutely ridiculous. I have such disdain for this Walmart, I have never been this angry at a store in my life. They even turned off calls, so when I called them, it went straight to voicemail with a full inbox. This Walmart is really beating me down today and I just cannot take it. I hate it. read more

SO the shelves aren't always stocked with the brand of food you're looking for. And the avocados are sometimes.. Almost always bruised. And the tomatoes are only 1 of 6 to pick from. BUT I was blown away when I asked a woman at the fitting room desk where black button down shirts were, and she voluntarily got up and showed me exactly where in the men's section. She realized that it was for me, and that I was trying to go to work. So she took me to the little boys' section, thinking it would be more suitable for my size (okay, so I'm a little petite) and even opened up bags to make sure the shirt would fit me! (For a split second, I felt like I was shopping with my mother). She then led the way to the women's section, looking here last because they usually dont have any in stock- like ever, she said. There was one xl....................Like I said, I'm a petite girl. So this xl shirt was like a coat on me. Maybe bigger than any coat I've ever owned actually. The little boys size ended up fitting perfectly and Im thankful that she took the time to help me walk around the store, because it saved me a bunch of time since I had to go to work. Usually, Walmart associates (at every location I've gone to, regardless of city and state) just point in the direction of where something is. And then I go somewhere around there- just to ask another associate. It's like playing hot and cold. But not this time. Hot service the whole time! Impressed. read more

Ohhhhhh Wal-Mart. You are like a roller coaster. You take me up and down with your prices, sketchy hit and miss customer service, and overall quality of goods. I have been here several times and nothing is ever consistent.... It's a newer location and about half the employees are great. I have had helpful friendly service and completely rude employees, so go figure. Today a lady in an electric wheelchair cart easily stood up and starting putting her hands on my stuff while yelling at the cashier "its not mine" REALLY loud. I felt bad for the cashier because she was slammed and that lady was clearly a pain. SMH. read more

Every Super Walmart is basically the same except the customer service. The people employed here are helpful and nice. I always have fun conversation with them when checking out and management is good at keeping up with stock and line waiting to check out. The customer service center at the front of the store is also very helpful. I dreaded having to return anything from the eye rolls and rudeness I received from the Seigen Lane location but not here. The deli and meat areas have good people too where as at other locations I felt like I was ruining their day for a half pound of sliced honey ham. Please keep up the good work! read more

Always have to check out the local Wal-mart before one decides to never go there again. Ha. No really. I really hate parking and people and carts and super-long lines but if I have to go to grab something I am happy it is clean and it is close by. As far as I can tell it is well organized and laid out nicely. The 20-items-or-less lady I met was lovely. Nothing earth shattering. read more

Nice and friendly staff. This store does not have just 2 registers open and it never feels crowded either. This new walmart on burbank and bluebonnett is the best one to go to in baton rouge. When they think there's an active shooter in Walmart, the managers gather ONLY the cashiers and employees to run to safety. Customers bowled over by staff running to safety, when the customers had no knowledge of doors or rooms that would offer shelter. I went at 11am on a Sunday morning. The area that holds carts was full of garbage on the floor and in most of the carts. As I walked into the store there was garbage on the floor too & I saw employees just walk right past it. Most of the shelves were empty & that was the case 3 days ago also when I went. The shelves that were stocked with produce looked like they should have been thrown out days ago. I am very disappointed in this new store. I will shop elsewhere. read more

I went to search for a seatbelt extender I needed by next morning. I couldn't find it so I went looking down isles for associate. I checked all automotive, hardware, toys, house ware isles. No One! I went toward electronics. Got to electronics and an associate was getting to phone to call for a customer needing help in arts and crafts. That told me there was none in that department either. I ask her to pleas call someone to help me in automotive. I go back and wait. 5 minutes pass, no one. I go back toward electronics and an associate is walking toward me. I ask him for help. He works in gardens. He goes look for a manager. He's comes back about 4 minutes later and tells me he can't find one. I call the Walmart number. It ri he, ring, and rings for 6 minutes. By this time I'm heading out the door. I finally got an answer. It was manager. She tried to be consoling but not enough. She states she's short handed and trying to hire people. I understand that, but it is still unacceptable to not have coverage at all times in different departments. I come to check out and tell them, I'm sorry but I don't have enough money to cover my items. You will tell me then I will have to put some items back. It's unacceptable! If they would give those who work these departments more hours or pay them overtime until they find enough associates, I'm pretty sure several associates would be willing to work more hours. This was my favorite Walmart to shop at, but they lost my vote after this incident! read more

Get what you need and get out. Best way to. Describe going to Walmart. Don't expect for anyone in electronics to help you. Employees are technology illiterate. Looking for someone to find someone else to help is no fun. I really don't understand why some of these people are hired. read more

This Walmart is new, so you figure that they would be motivated to ensure that they make a good impression, but that's not the case. Any employee you ask assistance from, their answer is, "I'm not from this department," and don't make any attempt to help. Since they opened, I've purchased breakfast sausage several times and when I've gotten home, the sausage was rotten. I immediately returned it and all I was told was to just get another one. No attempts were ever made to check the rest of the sausage to make sure that they were good. But the WORST OF ALL is the prices of items are always, always, always wrong. So when it's time to pay, that's when you realize that at least one item's price was marked incorrectly. When you inquire about it or question them, they check and just tell you that it was place in the wrong spot, even though they were all there (not just one). So in this Walmart, not only you'll have to look at the price of the items, but you'll have to cross-check the barcode as well because the employees fail to do their job and the consumer ends up paying the price for their incompetence. They'll just tell you that it was marked wrong and that's it. No attempt to fix the issue! So you'll have to either pay for it or leave it behind. To me that's a form of deceiving the consumer for their gain. ALWAYS check the price of the items while you're paying, otherwise, you'll end up paying much more. read more

The most horrible and rudest place I have ever been. My husband and son just went and were accused of trying to still toilet paper at the self checkout. When the cashier over the self checkout went and looked she figured out they had paid for the item and looked at them and threw her hand up and walked off. Not even a sorry. This is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last for us. DO NOT GO TO THIS WALMART. THEY DO NOT KEEP IT STOCKED AND IT IS A HORRIBLE STORE. read more

I was surprised the first time I went there. Yea it's a typical walmart, but the staff was overly helpful. Maybe because everyone was new, but everyone asked me if I needed help every time I turned around. The last few times I've been , the staff was stocking shelves with their music blasting from their phone singing. Seemed like bond of the other employees noticed/ cared. Produce section had done fresh fruit/veggies. read more

I've had a variety of experiences here, also. As someone mentioned a roller coaster. But it is close and of course reasonable. A lot of times they don't have what I need. Other times , such as for holidays, they had some really neat decorations. 2 times stand out for the negative. I went there for groceries, got home and noticed a lot was missing. I went through each item and compared to my receipt. I was missing about $12 in groceries. I had checked out, went directly to the car, emptied my cart. While I was checking out, the customer behind me was so far up in the line, I could barely pay. She was also harassing the clerk about candy not being on sale. The clerk was distracted, I was annoyed-so likely the items were left back. I called the store as it was already 10 pm. They said come back the next day, no problem. So I went to customer service, thinking it was going to be quick, either replace my groceries or get a refund.Well, they had to review security tape. Their verdict was I received all my groceries. Do they seriously think I was trying to scam them? I called twice, waited in line with my 2 yr. old grandson patiently to rip them off for $12?? I vowed not to go back. But of course dummy, I did. We were needing to replace our artificial Christmas tree. On line it is saying 2 available, for a certain price. The gentleman (??) back there ignored me for quite some time. I looked myself and couldn't find the one they supposedly had. He said no, I found another and even then would not give it at the roll back price. I decided to try customer service, as it was still showing that had it, possibly in a stock room? The customer service lady just glanced at my phone and said I'd just have to look for it. Zero help! My daughter decided to go back after ordering it online and have free delivery there. Same scenario, never showed up even though she'd paid for it. But the clerk was nice enough to provide another tree at a reduced price. read more
