I have lived in the area for over 30 years and these folks have been good to us. It's a family run business. Don't expect WalMart Prices, but then again, they pay taxes and hire people here and the money stays here in our area, instead of going off to some corporate headquarters. I shop Local, because they are our Friends and Neighbors. Our kids go to school with their kids. Our families go to church or baseball games together. When storms or power outages hit, they try to keep the gas pumping for those of us who need it. It you want them to carry a certain grocery item, just ask the manager. The staff is always down home and friendly. The Pizza, Hot Food, Sandwiches and Plate Lunches are good in the Deli. Great Meat selection, and frozen food section. Full line of my favorite Community Coffee and Blue Bell Ice Cream. Plus Auto supplies and hardware on the opposite side of the store. With the current Government induced inflation, nothing is cheap anywhere. But Johns tries to keep their prices reasonable and the selection good. Decent Gas Prices, free water and air on the side of the building. Tables outside if you want to sit and eat a meal. Thanks to Mr John and his family for being there when we need you. This is a convienant place to go because its the closest store to where I live. Prices are a bit high but they do have sales often. They have gas and a deli (chicken,burgers,pizza and fish etc) also. My son loves to go because they have toddler carts they can push around which is completely adorable. The only issue I find is parking gets really cluttered when they are busy causing me to park in the shopping center lot thats next door. I do regularly shop here and the staff is always very helpful and professional. read more

I have been shopping with them since they were a much smaller store on the other side of Cane Market. Always honest and friendly service. Good sales and a nice selection of meats, grocery and deli items plus hardware and gas. You can find mostly what you need here. We are in a rural area so if a few things are higher than the big box stores, just consider what the time and convenience is worth to you. I like the atmosphere and the music. I also like that you can get feed for your livestock here. read more

Your one stop store, it reminds me of my Uncle GW's Monkey Store when I was a kid, if you can't get it here, you just can't get it.

Johns has wonderful food, and was decent priced, thought they were a family business, but as usual everyone gets greedy, now charge by the pound for food,is absolutely ridiculous, and the quality of the food is going down, no gravy on the mashed potatoes if I'm paying by the pound give me some gravy, I won't be back, they are gonna lose a lot of business by being so greedy. read more
