Walmart is definitely a different experience. Prices are normally lower than the competitors. The shoppers at WalMart are "different" often careless and crass leaving a mess in the aisles and creating an unpleasant shopping environment. Be careful if purchasing items that appear to have been opened, many times the returned item is incomplete or broken. The store does not do a good job vetting returns an often puts sub-standard products back on the shelf. read more

Typical Walmart, encounter a couple friendly team members. Pretty much like any other Walmart...

Ask for assistance at the car service center to get an impact tool that was locked up. The gentleman implied that he did not want to assist me in this task regardless of no customer present or no sign. As he was unlocking the cabinet I apologized to him for the inconvenience in him having to go through the trouble in doing someone else's job. His response was that he was in charge of this department. Don't understand why this employee even through checking my products out still didn't want to do this. Very odd and it was his job at least for that day. read more

My wife and I stopped in here because she wanted to buy a few items while we were in the area. The store was just OK it did not have a lot of things on the shelves I don't know what's going on with that maybe they are understaffed and a lot of the lines were closed also even the checkout lines for self service. So I'm not sure what's going on with this Walmart but I guess they need some employees to go to work or something. But I was very surprised that all the checkout lines were closed for self service goes you can just gonna leave them on I have one person monitoring them but anyway is it OK Walmart read more

I returned four items & the blond lady taking returns gave me money for three items, $36& change. I didn't pay attention. I went and bought the exact items I returned, & it was $50 & change. Then I went back to the the returns & told her she shorted me. She wouldn't give me back the money she should have. I don't know if she rang up the return and kept the money or she's not competent. Pay attention at returns. read more

Stopped in here for a few things, staff rude and refused to help when asked basic questions. One staff member refused to acknowledge me at all. The truly memorable moment is when the restroom attendant, came out using profanities and racial slurs towards white people, because an older white gentleman needed to use the facilities. Perhaps Walmart needs to rexamine the DEI training. Thank the stars passing through and no need to come back to this location. read more

This is the only Walmart in Bardstown, so it has to suffice for any of your "Walmart" needs. It's usually pretty crowded. But the really good thing is there are normally a good number of workers available to answer questions. read more

Walmart Supercenter - Department Stores Near Me - Bardstown, Kentucky

We stop at this Walmart when we are traveling. This is a good location to refresh and refuel the car. We also buy any supplies we need that we remember that we had forgotten for our journeys. Walmart has everyone you could need food, hygiene products, snacks, t-shirts, underwear, etc. Can't go wrong in a Walmart Supercenter! read more

This store is worse than Kroger when it comes to electric shopping carts. Walmart leaves them scattered in the parking lot or dead in the store. Kriger doesn't plug them in but at least puts them in the charging areas. Turning this Walmart into corporate does no good. The staff give excuse after excuse for why they cannot call the other end of the store to see if charged carts are available or if someone can bring them in from the lot. It is poor customer service. There are 3 main grocery stores here...Walmart, Kroger and Sav-A-Lot. None of whom seem to care that they have nonambulatory customers. read more

It's 7:32 pm on Saturday evening - there are associates walking all over the store - two-by-two not working. There is ONE cash register open with over 14 people waiting in line. I spoke to a "CSM" who told me the manager did an awful job on the schedule - they only have ONE PERSON ON WHO CAN RUN A CASH REGISTER!! REALLY?? That's how you bring your money in. HORRIBLE ATTITUDES - HORRIBLE SERVICE. The CSM just walked by & ignored us. In addition to this I picked up FOUR 12 oz. bottles of Trop50 with Calcium Orange juice bottled that had EXPIRED in August 2019 - today is SEPTEMBER 28th, 2019 - over a MONTH PAST expiration date. They must not watch & rotate their stock in addition to not providing quality service. read more

As truck drivers, we appreciate you tolerating us parking in your lot when circumstances beyond our control force us to. We don't want to drive tired when your family and ours might be in the next car. I always make it a point to give this store my business for not being on a power trip kicking out semis. Nice and clean inside and out. Thank you. read more

Don't go to the service center,it will take hours to get a oil change or a new tire.It takes 3-4 people hours to finish one car-they are slow, and always look lost-- BAD customer service! read more

Wandered around electronics for a while finally managed to flag down an employee only to be told "I'm not sure what they carry"...

I went on a birthday day trip with my boyfriend to Bardstown. We had to stop and buy warmer clothing and went to Walmart. I found a really cute jacket for $21 and my boyfriend found a nice plaid shirt and jacket for around $30. I am always surprised at the clothing selection at Walmart, they have some good choices as of late. read more

If I could give less than one star for the service center I would! The incompetence has a WOW factor! The workers just walk around doing as little as possible. 3 guys to rotate one vehicles tires while other customers are waiting. read more

Auto center is horrible. The wife and I stopped to get her oil changed. We walked inside and the check out counter had been moved about 50 feet away and was in the main floor of the store instead of off set. We walked up to the counter told the guy we need an oil change. He sent us back to the shop and said talk to them. So we went back out to the shop and stood there for about 5 minutes before I yelled who do we talk to to get an oil change? The manager was in the back putting together a kids pink buggy. He said talk to the guy at the counter. Finally got checked in. Waited 2 hours before the car was pulled into the shop. It took them an hour to change the oil. An hour. So we had been sitting there for 3 hours and during that time, I could see why it took so long. The guys in the shop are constantly being interrupted to open the door that goes out to the shop. It is locked and someone at the counter can open it for you. but the counter is 50 feet away from the door. So everytime the person working the counter had to walk out, he had to interrupt one of the workers to walk by the door so the motion sensor would unlock it. For the first 1 1\2 hours of waiting we watched the manager put together this car buggy in the back of the shop. While people were waiting and the workers got farther and farther behind. There is so much more to write here I am way too angry to write it. Stay away. The manager was clueless and worthless in properly directing his customers and his employees in any decent fashion. All he did was make it worse. The workers are slow and they walk around looking confused all the time. There was only 4 of them. But who can blame them. They are constantly being interrupted for stupid things like having to open the door every three minutes. So sad. read more
