I have never met a Kroger seafood department guy as lazy as Todd on Sunday May 19th. First he completely ignores me while another person is helping another customer. Then when he was finished and went to help someone who walked up after me, this guy says, oh Todd will help you. Well, why didn't Todd help me 2 minutes ago. Todd should NOT be working in seafood. When he prepared my crab legs he wrapped the package only once. I placed in my cart thinking that was thin. A few minutes later i winder why my 12pack can boxes were wet, as well as my clothe shoe. Oh, crab juice leaking on everything out the uncovered end of the package. Not my shoe will stink as well as the boxes of soda. Todd is a waste of Krogers resources and mine. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Absolutely horrible. Haven't been able to get my meds for a week due to a 3 hour wait with 15+ people in line (pictures) They never answer the phone, and what's the point in a drive through when it's NEVER open? I'm having medication withdrawals and can't even call to make sure my script is ready before waiting 3 hours to be told they don't have it. Kroger - 15+ people in line for hours at Kroger Pharmacy - Grocery Near Me - Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Came into this Kroger location for the Starbucks. The line wasn't that long. The best thing is that you can bring your reusable cup! Also just because your favorite drink may not be listed on the menu, they can make it. I didn't see the chai latte, but they can make it. Due to space they don't have the full menu board. So just ask, it never hurts and can be quite delicious. read more

Dolphin drive store good for in-store shopping however, not great for pickup. The last time they left items out of my order, but still charged me for them. The last three times I've placed an order for pickup they have called me and told me that they are running two hours behind. Ok well don't list those times then??? I could see once, maybe twice, but three times in a row? Really??? I assume it was the manager that called me I stated that this was three times in a row ,not rudely at all. His response? Well I can just cancel your order. Yes but then the bank continues to hold the funds for 5 to 7 business days . Do better Kroger. This review does not include the Towne Drive location. Kroger is a grocery store - we all know that. But for travelers, Kroger is a good fuel stop, place to buy whatever breakfast you'd like a source for Starbucks (it opens at 6 am). This was a great easy-on, easy-off stop from the interstate. It's also a major Kroger, so we had a wide choice of organics, fresh veg, just baked goods, plus all of the usual dry goods to buy. The pharmacy staff at dolphin location has to be the worst pharmacy ever! There staff acts as if you are bothering them instead of being helpful. Their technicians and interns have No idea of what they are doing and the pharmacist is not helpful. I've been a pharmacy tech for 44 yrs and have never encountered a pharmacy so inept!! read more

When I am in Etown I stop here for gas every time! This one or the one on Dixie highway. Gas is always cheaper and after my Kroger rewards points it event cheaper. Today gas was .30 cheaper than the Louisville prices. I love when they have cases of water on sale and have displays. Super easy to pay at window and load those heavy cases of water in the car! read more

Went with my wife for her to get booster shot. Had appt and waited for a person at pharmacy to tell us he had other things to do. Long winded talking to a customer he had a leg brace on finally the pharmacist gave her shot. He explained vaccines were the other guys job but he neglected his duties. Very disappointed with this pharmacy. They need someone else to give vaccines. read more

New remodeling is making it better. The produce section is much larger and now there is a cheese shoppe, a Starbucks, and the deli and bakery is much larger. Staff seems friendly and there is self check out (which I use constantly) and open twenty four hours. read more

Kroger in Elizabethtown, KY - floral dept. Carol did an exceptional job with the flowers for my daughter's wedding. The bridal bouquet, brides-maids' bouquets, grooms and groomsmen's boutonnieres, mother's wrist corsages, and the altar flowers all looked magnificent. I couldn't get over how stunning my daughter's bouquet was. Carol helped my daughter with the flower selection and made her bouquet absolutely beautiful. I drive the extra 10 minutes or whatever to go to this one versus the one on Dixie in Etown, because WOW, they are super nice and they have wayyyy more items for vegans and vegetarians. Their deli selection is so much better too. As always with every Kroger, love the Kroger savings, but I really love how the staff here are hospitable and actually greet you and chat, and there's always something marked down [ehehehehe yayyy for me] and like I said WAY MORE vegan and vegetarian products. read more

Do not use curb side pick up! I waited an hour at the stall and had to call the store just to be told that "one" of my grocery totes had gone missing. Twenty minutes later and still no groceries I called again to be told a completely different story. They told me I could have $10 off or cancel my order after waiting an hour and a half. Had I not called the store twice I would not have even known that my groceries had been misplaced. The girl who delivered my groceries was honest and said that she had put my entire order in another car. Then when I got home despite them taking $10 off my order I was missing more than $10 worth of groceries after witting as long as I had. read more

I recently started using this store for all my groceries, so far so good. The store is clean and mostly well stocked, the self serve bulk food area could use work. They seem to always have carts inside, cashiers, baggers and items clearly priced (unlike Walmart). Their prices seem to be slightly more, at least on the things I purchase. I did get their app and savings card. It has saved me some and also some on gasoline ,so it may equal out in the end. Overall a very pleasant shopping experience. read more

Be careful don't eat anything from deli they cross contaminate and they have roaches that craw on the foods such as breads and cookies and pies while they are cooling. The bakery is nasty too it need to clean the icing tips but they just throw them in the bucket and reaches crawl on them too. read more

No idea what a "Bangin" Kroger looks like, but my two pennies is to wear your effing pearls if you'd like to be served in a timely manner by the deli. I was here during normal business hours. As I don't usually dress up to go to the grocery, I was in jeans, t-shirt, and ball cap...except that I was apparently, completely invisible, waiting full on ten minutes, overhearing unpleasant, unprofessional (in any profession), & HR "actionable" conversations between at least 6 staff members, only one of whom was actually doing anything classified as actual work. Then a nicely dressed, 60's something white woman appeared. She was approached in less than 15 seconds (when I'd been standing in the exact same area for over ten minutes). Staff that approached initially asked the other woman if she needed any help, ignoring me, because, again, apparently, I'm invisible (it must be my magic effing ballcap!). The other woman deferred to me, since, ya know, I'd been standing there for g*d knows how long. Staff started with my order, while another **immediately** appeared out of nowhere & began on the other woman's request. I thanked the other woman, VERY LOUDLY, saying that I appreciated her approaching the deli for service, since otherwise, I would clearly still be waiting, without attention. She acknowledged my comments before heading to check out. Interestingly, each of the customers after me was asked for their slicing thickness request, shown a sample thickness, and offered a slice. Not me (not for one item I ordered). Other staff served more than 8 separate clients (several of whom came to the counter to pick up items from the cold cases). Each and every one of them was greeted within 15 seconds and asked if they needed anything. Then one of the deli workers decided to pick a fight with the wrong effing woman, after whispering back and forth for several minutes with the person completing my order (after I'd already waited upwards of twenty minutes for my order of six items). From 15' away (& not while even facing me, when I'd been standing there since the freaking dawn of time, all while this woman was "working" by discussing fra-fra and finding ways to do, pretty much, not anything she was being paid to do, addressed the general deli area "Ma'am, have you been helped?" as if I was supposed to guess she was speaking to me. And since I had no earthly idea someone WORKING THERE hadn't seen me standing there for the last half-hour-(for X-sake, they could have charged me rent at that point...) and wouldn't realize that SHOUTING AT ANYONE, let alone a person with enough reason to be unhappy about their service, would be less than a sound idea...Yeah... But no. Once this woman had a crowd, she wanted a drama to prove that she wasn't totally bloody incompetent. Despite being, bloody incompetent. It did not end well for her. Regardless, I will not give this chain another cent of my money. When I need groceries, will pick up from Meijer on the drive through Louisville, where they actually stock decent & diverse produce, have fair fresh seafood, beef, pork, and poultry offerings. Done. Done. Done, with this store's small town, small mind, bad service. (By the way: the only way this place makes it "easy" to be a vegan in KY is if you plan on eating nothing but Morningstar and/or Amy's frozen meatless burritos. Seriously SMH.) ETA: This review was (clearly, by date, alone) added before their remodel was provoked by Meijer's land purchase. I haven't visited the new (though certainly expanded) location enough to feel comfortable writing an updated review, although I will certainly note that their footprint has doubled and they're now bothering to stock items that are absolutely average that were never available before (even as simple as specific dried beans - not talking unicorn blood). I look forward to shopping at the expanded store...and hope I'll be served without wearing my pearls. The parking lot, though, is a damn disaster. read more

I visited on October 24, 2015, to pick up a cake for my son's party that I had ordered. I wasn't able to order online because it was less than 24 hrs so customer service connected me to the store. The batman cake that I ordered apparently hasn't been available in the store for some time so there was some confusion and a totally different batman cake was made. I obviously wasn't happy with the cake and the party was in two hours, but the staff was quick to remedy the problem. They called the other location and a staff member dropped what they were doing to drive across town to pick up the cake kit. The deli supervisor (unsure her name but she is short, thin, with grey hair) was super nice and accommodating. She insisted that we take both cakes free of charge. Many of us, myself included, are quick to comment when something is wrong, but not when something is right. The deli/bakery staff definitely wanted to make sure I was a happy return customer. read more

I called the bakery to order cupcakes for a five year old boy's Birthday which was being celebrated after his soccer game. I asked if they had anything decorative explaining the occasion as I just have in the first sentence here. I was told that no, but they had Birthday rings. Well, it was a boy party but they boy's were only five. I went with it. When I came to pick up the cupcakes all decorated with rings - there on the countertop right in front of my face above the bakery case was an entire selection of "soccer ball" decorations (the kind you stick in cupcakes) WHO KNEW??? Exactly! I will not be using the Kroger Bakery again. read more
