We couldn't decide what to order, so we ended up trying a little bit of everything. The tabbouleh, hummus, falafel, and spinach pie were all fantastic. Every single side was fresh and packed with flavor. The sauces deserve their own shoutout. I would happily take home a gallon of the garlic sauce, and the tzatziki was just as addictive. My husband ordered the Mediterranean salad, and my daughter and I shared the kids' shawarma plate. The salad was massive with a beautiful variety of fresh vegetables. The beef shawarma was incredibly tender, and the basmati rice was perfectly cooked. One thing that really stood out to me was the hospitality. While we were there, a family came in just before closing and asked if they could still be served. Without hesitation, the staff welcomed them in and accommodated them with such kindness. It felt less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home. You can tell there's real care behind every ingredient and every interaction. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and homemade. It left us feeling satisfied without feeling heavy, which isn't always easy to find when eating out. Safier is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. We'll definitely be back.

The food is intriguing - we tried the fusion dish like a pot pie with lamb and potatoes. I think it had carrots inside as well. I wasn't quite sure what kind of fusion but it was an interesting take. The naan is fresh and delicious. Service was thoughtful when a friend requested to change something that was very unexpected that she did not want and was recommended by our server, so I can only give this a 5/5.

The dining space is cozy and comfortable with plenty of seating. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server knew without blinking which menu items were vegan, and also was able to list the main ingredients for most dishes. We ordered several appetizers and soups to try - the Karvepaku Manchurian was very tasty, and both the Manchow and Hot and Sour soups were delivered hot and were nicely flavored. My dining companions had the non-vegan Tortilla Papdi Chaat and creamy tomato soup, and enjoyed both. All entrees are served with delicately spiced and perfectly fluffy basmati rice. I ordered the Bagara Baingan, which I had never tried but plan to again - often. The sliced eggplant cooked in peanut, sesame and curry sauce is EPIC. Pricing is reasonable for an Indian restaurant on the East End, especially one that's so delicious. With so many vegan options I'm looking forward to visiting again (but might just keep ordering the Bagara Baingan because DELICIOUS).

Food wasn't too spicy which it was great because I personally could enjoy the flavor of the food more. The owner was so nice and welcoming. They brought us very delicious drink for us to try for free, they said they will have it in their menu. It has pistachios, rose water, and some rose pedal on top, very delicious. Restaurant could use some more cleaning. Overall we enjoyed the food and had a great time. FYI, Buffet hours and price: Monday-Friday: 11am-2pm - $13.99 Sat and Sun: 12pm-2:30pm - $16.99

On the back of it was a picture denoting the various Indian states and which foods could be tied to which. I would have been happy ordering all sorts of vegetarian things, but wanting a light meal, I tried a dosa, which was thin and expertly made and came with a delicious assortment of sides, including sambar that I had to finish. My tea (a milk tea, which wasn't entirely clear when I ordered it) came with a bright cinnamon note. A tray of papadums was brought to tide me over, so I had another set of chutneys as well. There was no shortage of dynamism even in my small order, and I have no trouble imagining that the wonders continue the more you food you get.
