Still no credit card tap for payment here so if you use virtual banking and cards, you need to preload the numbers into the horrible Walmart app. You'd think that would be no big deal if the app accepted the card. So I got scammed at Walmart and it upsets me so much. I had asked for pokemon cards and was shown to the locked electronics section. I specifically asked the cashiers if they were SEALED packs and he said yes and the limit was 5. So I bought 5 and I decided to open one when I got back to the car cause the packaging was weird. IT WAS NOT SEALED PACKS!!! It was just a bunch of low end random pokemon cards repackaged into a paper pack. I immediately went back to Walmart and it turns out they were non refundable even though I only wanted to return the 4 packs I didn't open. I explained I had asked if they were sealed packs and were told yes but the customer service manager said there's nothing they can do even though I was given the wrong information prior to buying the pack and I didn't even know that UNSEALED USED pokemon cards were non-refundable. This is a huge Walmart hence the name. A lot of selection. We had dropped by to pick up necessities for our trip. We bought Driscoll blueberries here and they were delicious. Idid not expect them to be crisp and sweet. The whole family enjoyed them so much that we went neck the next day to pick up another box. I think everyone is at the Target down the road. I would think this Walmart would be busy the weekend before Christmas but it wasn't. I had to buy some cheap sweat pants and I didn't have time to order them on Amazon and knew Walmart would carry them. This is one of those huge stores with a full grocery store. It's just too big of a store so not enjoyable at all. As for prices I'd say they try to match the prices of off brand stuff with Amazon. The parking lot is pointless. They tried saving some trees instead of bulldozing them and having a huge parking lot. Not sure this is good for the trees or the people parking. It just makes the parking lot more accident prone as you get routed all over the place to protect a tree here and there. Good old 2000s/late 90s suburban design. read more

This was my Walmart when I lived in the area 10+ years ago. It has truly gone downhill. I found messy shelves and racks of clothes. I noticed employees that seemed like they'd rather be anywhere other than in this store. The parking is rather chaotic. I did see some random homeless people, but they didn't bother me. Checking out, the cashier had zero interest in being there. Personally, I didn't either, so we actually made a great team. It was random that I was in the area and had to stop in for something. I definitely will not be back unless it is urgent and I'm in the area. read more

This review is for Ramiro who was working at the customer service counter on 2/13. I paid $20 to have balloons (bought in store) inflated, told it would take 15/20 minutes. Set an alarm for 15 minutes, shipped and came back in about 20 min. Stood in CS line again, told my balloons were getting worked on now. He goes behind the counter and fills half my balloons, hands them to me with a bag over, no ribbons. A line has formed, and he helps every person in line as it continues to grow. Hello, I've been waiting here for 30 minutes now, just because I walked away doesn't mean I wasn't waiting? I say excuse me, I really need to get these balloons because my party starts in an hour and a half. He shrugs. Eventually I get them maybe 15 minutes later. When I ask about ribbons, he says they are out. I've literally seen the guy putting ribbons on other balloons while I waited. Proceeded to lose a balloon putting them into my car because no ribbons. Such an annoying and unnecessary experience. Serve people in order. Put ribbons on balloons you fill like everyone else does. Btw I spent $20 to inflate 20 small balloons that I had already bought in the store. Do not recommend. read more

This Walmart location has gone down so much. While it's never been my favorite store location to shop at, I never really had any issues or complaints about shopping at this location, if I was nearby and needed to stop by to pick something up. On my most recent shopping trip to this store, the shelves were mostly empty in all of the departments, with the merchandise still in boxes in the aisles. And the temperature inside the store was VERY stuffy and hot. I understand that there might have been an issue w/ the a/c but usually a business will post signs to make customers aware that there is an issue but if this was the case on the day I visited, no signs were posted letting customers know. I never thought I'd say this, but this Walmart gets it right. Every. Single. Time. From the moment you walk in, it's surprisingly clean, well-organized, and the employees are actually friendly and helpful (shoutout to the woman at self-checkout who saved me from a barcode meltdown). They somehow always have what I need--whether it's groceries, dog toys, socks, printer ink, or that one random kitchen gadget I convince myself I need at 9pm. The shelves are stocked, the lines move quickly, and the prices are unbeatable. Bonus points for the pickup service: fast, accurate, and they don't make you feel like an inconvenience. if i could give a -0, i most definitely would. placed an online order yesterday at noon and was told delivery was attempted at 6:08pm. driver never showed up at all. contacted walmart again and was told order was delayed and to wait until 1:30am. order, of course, never came. contacted walmart again and again i was told order would be here between 10-12p today and i guarantee items will be missing from order as always. called customer service and asked for corporate office number and they gave me this number which is still customer service so basically i was lied to. avoid at all costs. this store is prefatory, workers steal from delivery orders, drivers don't deliver because of laziness and your items will be wrong. walmart doesn't care as long as you spend money in their store. TLDR: Well, it's a Walmart, so set your expectations accordingly. This Walmart actually looks quite nice and is reasonably clean both outside and in. However, the parking lot's a maze, and the store's in a pretty sketchy area. Also, while their pick-up via their App is a nice-to-have, expect at least a 20 minute wait once you arrive and notify them of that fact on that app. Employees seem rather dispirited. This is by far the worst Walmart I have been to, and I've been to a couple of your New Mexico branches so that's saying something. Literally every single thing in the store is locked up. I wanted to grab a few things- nail polish (skipped that because it's locked and I don't want to waste time). (News flash- Id gladly pay $10 for that $1 bottle of nail polish if it meant that I didn't have to wait for someone to unlock a cabinet like you're GD Fort Knox). Toilet paper- luckily that was one of the few things that wasn't under lock and key. Then a belt- the primary reason I came here. It's locked too and I have currently been waiting 20 minutes for someone to respond to the request for an associate. If you're going to lock up your entire store, it would be nice if you'd at least have some people around to actually unlock stuff. An absolute terrible place to shop at. Stopped by this Walmart to purchase some Texas shirts to take home and used the first self-checkout register. Using the scanner gun, the prices rung up in the register as discounted. For example, one shirt was originally priced at $23 was discounted to $10. When I finished buying my shirts, I proceeded to the exit where a Walmart employee was checking receipts. However, this employee intentional reviewed my items and receipt to cross reference and re count the items in my cart. Mind you, I only had 8 items. The employee kept asking why there were different prices and I said "I'm sorry, I don't work here." Apparently some of the items did not scan with the scanner gun and the employee advised me to go to self-check out to have another Walmart employee assist me in re scanning the items. Using a different self-checkout register, 2 items were missed from the original purchase. As I was paying for my missed items, the Walmart employee asked if I used the scanner gun and I said yes and she mentioned that "oh that scanner gun misses items." How does that even happen? For an employee to admit to faulty registers as if it's not a big deal!!! I was completely appalled that they did NOTHING TO FIX THAT REGISTER! After getting a second receipt, I proceeded to the leave only for the original employee to intentionally scan it to make sure I paid for it. My experience at this Walmart was so disappointing. To be blamed for a technical mistake on Walmart's end makes me feel like I can't even shop anymore! Do better Walmart! Check your damn registers and your employees!!!! read more

Lots of homeless people just lingering around outside of the store. When we walked in.. we saw 3 police officers (not Security guards but police) just walking around. I think they have to have police working in the store at all times. Also, we quickly noticed that everything was locked in glass shelves! I've never seen this before. It is understandable that many with (real and average size) service dogs be allowed into the store, yet last week was more of seeing this couple bring in a huge (non service) dog that only was loudly barking at all shoppers exiting the store, after checkout. There has to be a limit to size if dog and only [real] service dogs coming into the store with their owners...This us a family shopping community; no one wants to be scared off or growled at to any child/senior or mentally challenged in any community. There are more and more individuals in our world that already have pre-existing conditions which are not so obvious to all. For our children/disabled/seniors/veterans/etc that should feel welcomed to do their shopping in a tranquil environment without such "triggers". read more

I was looking for something specific and was ignored by multiple employees who couldn't be bother to help me find it. There was a certain soap I wanted/needed and a quick online search showed that it was available at this particular store so I went out of my way to come here just for this soap. I knew I might need to ask for some assistance in finding it because it was a seasonal item, so I stopped to ask for help. I was treated as nothing more than a nuisance and told to go to a specific aisle. So I did. No such luck. I stopped another associate and explained the situation and they sent me to an entirely different section of the store. No such luck. I asked *another* associate if it might be in the back - he spent all of 30 seconds before coming out and trying to send me back to the first place I spoke with a different associate. Noticing a trend here? At this point, I've checked 4 different locations and had 3 different associates not bother enough to actually help me before just vaguely directing me in a general location. Finally I speak with an older gentleman (I can't remember his name, but I believe it said he'd been with the store/company for 14 years) and he was actually helpful and not only walked with me to check out different areas but called over a manager to assist. At the end of the day, we were not able to find the item at all, but there were only two people who actually put any effort into being helpful. It was I credibly frustrating and while I am thankful for them, I was disappointed by the lack of friendliness and helpfulness I experienced with literally every other employee at this location. I've worked in plenty of customer service positions before and I know it can be a soul crushing experience, but that's no excuse to flat out disregard a customer and treat them like the scum on your shoe, which is how I was made to feel. read more

Once more I ordered from Walmart for a grocery home delivery and never received my order. They have done this to me now at least 5 times and all they can do is say I am sorry and offer a refund. Refunds take anywhere from 5 to 10 business days to process and the poor individual whose bank account is low is just s... out of luck for food. Walmart does not hire their own delivery drivers but use an outside company and I guess these delivery drivers cannot read because my address label has very clear instructions on it for delivery. Their curbside pick up is free and fantastic. So easy. The app is easy to use and it automatically saves your favorites so you don't need to re-find everything every time you make an order. Sometimes I make an order and when I go to schedule pick up, there are open slots on the same day! Unheard of for the pickup options of other grocery stores. There is no premium or extra charge for doing curbside pickup and I hope that never changes. We get everything from disposable masks to bathroom supplies to light bulbs to food. One stop shop and we don't even have to go inside. I hope this stays free because I plan on shopping like this forever. I've been doing this 1-2 times a week for 6+ months now. There is one small down side..Sometimes the fresh produce looks a little beat up or isn't in the best condition, but that's the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. I had a flat and needed a tire ASAP. Walmart was close. Slow but they did a great job and showed me I had two tires in need or replacement. $180 later I was road safe again. My only complaint was I decided to wait by shopping Halloween items and instead of calling me , they asked for my number, they waited to inform me about the other tire in need of replacing. I had to wait even longer for the two new tires to be fitted. My advice, wait to shop/eat until after their assessment as they will not call or text you with questions or concerns. I try to avoid this location at all costs, but sometimes I am in the area and stop in for something...then I remember why I distain this location. The store is dirty, always low or out of stock on the few items that I go to Walmart for, is always busy, shady looking people returning things in a line that is always long, staff at the return counter is often un-friendly, the parking lot is always full, there are pan-handlers outside in the parking lot on a regular basis, they have had many crimes in the parking and I could go on. My most recent experience was very disappointing. I ordered a replacement auto battery online, and I called their tire & auto center to confirm that they would remove the old battery and install the new one (as the Internet says Walmart does this). No matter how many times I selected the auto/tire center from their phone menu, the center never picked up. So I tried requesting a manager (several times), to confirm these details (because the operator did not know about battery installation), and no manager ever picked up. Therefore I called Walmart's customer service to cancel the order, and after a lengthy wait for a supervisor's approval, the order was cancelled. Today I again called the tire/auto center (no answer), and then called back to speak to a store manager, and again, nobody picked up. Please be aware that trying to get answers by phone is unlikely to work. read more

Walked into the store to get a pack of T-shirts. To my dismay, this was quite an arduous journey. I walked in to find a locked section of T-shirts that I was looking for. I asked an associate to help me and it took a good 10 minutes to get someone to help me. After asking again for another associate for help it took another 15 minutes for another employee to show up. The store looks trashed and lots of empty shelves. Today, Saturday, 9/11/2021 7:40 pm has only 2 registers open and mile long line at the self check outs. In line over 30 minutes and still not checked out. So at 8:15pm was finally checking out. I spent $289 .00 and tried to purchase a $200 gift card. Leticia the interim manager said can't buy the gift cards at the register at this store. She said the manager was on break. Have to wait in line at customer service, but customer service is closed. You need to go to another store to buy it. She told me the corporate number is 1800 Walmart. I am super frustrated with this store. Worst experience of my life when it comes to delivering groceries! I signed up to try Walmart plus to get groceries delivered since I do not have reliable transportation and my children need fresh nutrition daily. Well my kids were not able to have a mom made lunch for the first day of school thanks to Walmart canceling my grocery delivery without any notice and mind you they already charged me for groceries. This happened three times each time the cancelled my order the following day after order was charged and supposed to be delivered. They never answer the phone and no one even notified me. I have both shopped here and done the online grocery pickup. The store checks receipts when you leave which is pretty annoying (I doubt this really stops theft.) The grocery pickup is great, the app let me check in, but I also did have to call the number listed on the parking sign there. My order was brought to my car and explained. Now three more people have been helped before me. Then they tell me that I have to pay for a tires that I bought under warranty. Luckily I keep receipts and now they find me in the system they telling me it's going to be three hours. Worst Walmart I have ever been to. I looked on the website for a pool and it said they had it in store. I got there and ask an employee where I could find it and said "we don't carry that" and I said "oh it on your website?" And she replied "I just said we don't have it." I have honestly never been treated so rude at a Walmart. I was very nice but she got really mad for no reason she might have anger issues or something. I had to ask four different people until I was told that they haven't had that in stock for months and they don't have any pools at all even though the website has tons that say "in store for pick up". I went to Walmart two days ago looking for household storage stuff. After passing the door greeter and entering the store proper, my steps slowed and my jaw just about dropped open. I almost didn't recognize the place because the interior has been COMPLETELY made over. Totally different. Reorganized. Actually spiffy looking. And clean. Wowzers. The staff seemed to have a new attitude, too. Or maybe they were new hires. Anyhow, the ones I encountered were very helpful and happy to help locate things. People loitering in the parking lot, coming up to you with their "excuse me sir, can I ask you a question?" shit asking you for bus money. MESSY/UNCLEAN: There was a BIRD flying around in the store. Okay so that's not really their fault, but the ground situation wasn't much better! I distinctly remember finding a frozen dinner thawing on a shelf in the candy aisle, a little girl's skirt on a hanger laying in the middle of the floor in another aisle, and just generally feeling like things were unclean and out of place. CROWDED: Everywhere you go. There's not enough room in some of the walk areas for two carts, so you end up having to go around something or duck into an aisle. LAYOUT: I don't know what it is but I really don't like the layout of this one. Other stores seem to have a more distinct area for things like bread, a dedicated aisle with more ethnic types of food, frozen food in a way that makes sense. This one seems to just glop everything wherever it would fit. Bread is on some random aisle next to chili I think. Anyway, I'm wasting time by even describing this, since most people already know that savings at Wal-Mart directly correlates with diminished service. In short, save yourself the hassle and fork out the extra few dollars to shop at a real grocery store. read more
