I do both in store and online shopping at this store. If you shop in the store good luck you have to play bumper cars with all of the employee shoppers who lack all common sense and decency. If you shop on line good luck especially if an order is placed on the weekend, they will refuse to deliver and not give you and updated delivery time. If you call the help line they make excuses like this will not happen again, but yet it does. I have decided to shop elsewhere it might cost a little more, but its worth not having all of the frustrations with a dirty store and incompetent delivery drivers. I will say that you can get a free show if you go shopping in the local store. All kinds of interesting things you see the employees doing, wearing and saying. Never a manager around. i placed an order this afternoon and paid three dollars express delivery. i ordered a rotisserie chicken and the chicken didn't arrive. how could eddie delivery driver get a rotisserie chicken? how could eddie delivery driver forget it if that's in their car because it gets delivered warm and you can smell it i don't have the girls name because i deleted the chip part i think her name might've been Niki. not sure but close she's never gonna get a tip for me on this order or any previous orders. i called the store. they're sending another rotisserie chicken out sometime within the hour. great it was supposed to be for dinner. i believe i should get a chicken delivered and i should be also refunded. i have dealt with three other walmart super setters at the super center is by far the worst they never have anything in stock and they're slow and their drivers are slow once again. i feel that i should get a refund along with another chicken. read more

It is irritating to dig through my bags or wallet for my receipt on the way out of the store. A lady explained once that when people drop their receipts outside, that another person can pick up that receipt and shop for the items and return and get refund. Really??? I am more apt to drop my receipt now that I try to remember to leave it out in case they check it. No other store does this, and I quit buying anything in cosmetic section since I have to pay separate at that counter. No other store does this that's comparable. It's a hassle and I try to avoid coming here. I had to come in for boxes and styrophome coolers to ship a few things...had to wait to have my receipt checked. Tried calling as weapons can't be viewed online so called and they just kept picking up phone and hanging up until i decided to give up. This went on for 10 minutes. Do NOT GO TO THE AUTO CENTER HERE. I went to get an oil change here and when I got home I was leaking oil everywhere. When I went under my car to see if they even screwed everything back in correctly, I COULD TURN THE SCREW THAT KEEP THE OIL IN THE PAN BY HAND. This is for the sporting goods department. Glynn is the man. I went to buy my fishing license there. I had just turned 65. He said you may want to get the combo fishing/hunting license for over 65. It the little things when people take time to inform you of your options. Then he spent 20 minutes giving me tips on where to fish and what flies to use. I wasn't fair for my life Brittany and Maggie, who are both managers at that store did nothing about a bomb threat being called in. They just got new security there and they aren't very effective because I overheard one of the security guards saying they can't do anything to people that steal. So what is the point of having security there? The store manager Jason is very unapproachable and very unprofessional. The people at this Walmart are useless. Nobody wants to help you. Nobody knows where anything is at. If they do they say it a sarcastic question as if you should know where it's at. All the holiday stock is all over the garden shop. The guy in the flower shop couldn't even tell where the flower pots are. Our cashier was super slow with a whatever's attitude. People stocking are in the way and block the aisles. You cant even tell if the workers running around are just trying to look busy so they won't help you. Don't do grocery delivery. They have a third party that has not been properly dealt with who taking the tips but not delivering the groceries. Once they say they have picked up and delivered though has not happened, they receive your tip. Walmart won't make it right as a separate system so good luck getting groceries and/or your tip. When speaking to 2 team leads, I learned the same driver has done repeatedly and they have not dealt with. Oh, they blurred pic of something to say delivered when not done. It seems like a big scheme on the consumer that Walmart has not dealt with. I even received a call the next day, asking if I wanted my groceries still. Crappy management. I have made numerous orders for home delivery and only recently started to have problems. I had a delivery that showed 10 items were delivered when only two were left at the house. I called and spoke with the delivery section who checked and stated that the driver forgot the second package with the remaining items in it. He assured that he would immediately put it on the schedule and have it delivered. Later the next day, no delivery, I checked and found that rather than delivering the items that had been paid for they just refunded my money. Total waste of time. I would later try and talk to the manager over the department expressing concern about this delivery and the follow up order for the same items. She made every excuse in the book about why it did not show up except for the the obvious reason that it had been missed by the Ammon store employee. It was clear that she had no intention of keeping a customer. Rude and unconcerned. It is clear that the Store Manager needs to take a deeper look into how customers are treated when Walmart screws up. review the other similar delivery issues within Yelp.. The Utah Ave store never has these type of issues and its clear that this is related to the Ammon Management. read more

I am fed with Walmart. I will only shop at my local Walmart if no other choice is available. I am willing to pay the higher prices at Albertsons and Walgreens, and even drive all the way across town to Broulims. This last weekend I ordered groceries for curbside, for the 4th time my boyfriend went to pick them up, I signed him in, but they still didn't bring our order. He had to get out of the car and yell at them to get service. I placed another order and they charged me $6.99 because my order was to small. $28.84 is too small. I tried to cancel, but they did cancel part of the order. Now I have a hold on my bank card of $127.00. I didn't spend nearly that on my card. Maybe the $28.84 of which $14.40 was canceled. It's day 4. When are they giving me back my money?I bought something from Amazon, that i was going to cancel, They didn't take their money until the item shipped. I will be staying with Amazon. I would be very cautious when dealing with Walmart. read more

I wish I could do zero stars. Walmart in Ammon and Idaho Falls has officially lost our automotive business. Imma sound like a Karen for a hot moment but bare with me. After going to the gun range my husband and I realized we picked up a screw in our tire. Promptly we go to Walmart to get a tire repair or just replace it all together. We show up and ask to be serviced and explain the issue. Well the car we were driving has a slightly bigger tire size in the front than in the back. But we just need the one tire fixed or replaced. But the guy basically says nope can't service you unless you bring just the tire back and we will put it on the rim. Frustrated, we call the one in Ammon and I tell them that we need one tire replaced or fixed. They say yeah just bring it in. My husband had worked at Walmart and has done tire replacements similar to the situation we had. We show up and tell the guy inside what's going on and he says it should be fine as long as the tires aren't rotated. That makes sense because again, two different sizes. I say great, but we just at least need the tire with the SCREW IN IT fixed. While I go find a restroom, they tell my husband after awhile that "nope, can't do it". We understand it causes weird alignment and all that but we just needed to tide ourselves over until we get rims that are all the same size. If my husband pulled the tire off for them to replace and he put back on, it was going to be at least a 2 HOUR WAIT. They had two guys on tires and only TWO cars. If Walmart hires people, especially for a specialty department such as automotive, they really need to train better or get guys that can work more fast and efficiently. My husband does tires for semi trucks and gets those done in 10 MINUTES. Walmart, get your act together. read more

I have always thought that Walmart was a little trashy, but I have never been treated so rudely at a store in my life. I (being a teenager) went in with some of my friends to grab some groceries for my mom on a Saturday night. There were at least 2 groups of other teenagers that were messing around in there and being loud(we had no idea who they were and we're not associated with them in any way). Me and my friends ended up getting separated and only one of us had keys to the car. As we were searching for the other half of our group, two older employees threatened to call the police if we didn't leave. We were extremely confused and we tried to tell them that we didn't have our keys and we were looking for our friends but they refused to listen and chased us out. We had to sit outside our car for 10+ minutes until our friends were kicked out for looking for us. It's extremely unprofessional how those workers acted towards us. read more

Walmart has lost ALL of my respect, I was sent to Walmart with my friends after a high school event to get a few things for my friends mom. While we were there the workers were very rude while we walked, I could've ignored that but it was unacceptable when we were taking a picture in an isle and were yelled at by Dennis, I then went and apologized and said we weren't trying to disrupt them, they were very rude and said we better leave. We said of course we just have to find our friends since we did not drive there. While we were sitting in an isle me and my friend were yelled at. The employee very rudely said we will call bonneville county sheriff if we don't leave. I then found out that my other two friends the ones we were separated from were very rudely escorted out of Walmart. When we finally found eachother my two friends were having a panic attack sobbing in the car becouse of how rude and awful Walmart treated them. This company is going to push more people to use Amazon. They now want to scan all items in your cart when you leave. It took 30min to get out the door because the person doing the scanning could only go slow. They need to use electronic systems to monitor things going out the door. I came here to get Italian bread. I needed Italian bread to go with my Italian cuisine for Christmas to try to get a small taste of home with no avail. I squeezed every loaf of bread trying to find a loaf with the correct consistency and I had no such luck. But I'm an idiot, I should have known better than to come here. After all, the bakery only makes white bread, just in different shapes and sizes and nothing more. But you already knew this. Come here, shop, sell out. read more

Always have very long lines at the Ammon store, especially the customer service desk. The other day I waited in line 25 minutes + for a return. The clerk, Chelsea, that assisted me at the service desk had a bad attitude and provided poor customer service. At this point I'd rather shop elsewhere or atleast drive across town to shop at the other stop. read more

Wow, I wish I could give more stars, I truly do. Having recently moved from busy Los Angeles, California, to peaceful Idaho Falls, Idaho, I have been impressed with the great customer service in town from many of the local and corporate businesses. It has been a breath of fresh air. However, today, I was introduced to a not so great part of customer service in this town via the "co-manager", Tara. This took place at the Ammon, Idaho Walmart. I can honestly say that I have never been treated with more disrespect and lack of care and compassion, than I was with Tara. My husband and I had come in to resolve an issue we had with the walmart.com in-store pick up order we placed. Walmart had made a mistake and what we thought would be an easy fix, turned into a nightmare. Our credit card ended up being charged $183, three times. I wish I could remember the name of the "department manager" who originally assisted us and who we had been dealing with for the majority of the time, because she was anot absolute doll. She was doing everything she could to ensure that we were taken care of. She listened to our concern, was apologetic, very kind, very helpful, and did her best to ensure that we would leave happy and return as repeat customers. Clearly, "manager " suited her well. The customer service manager on the phone for walmart.com, gave the "ok" for the department manager we were working with, to give us some sort of a discount for our inconvenience. We were extremely appreciative of that. We felt we were being treated fairly and as valued customers. While the department manager had run to get some information for us, another woman came up to us ( Tara, the "co-manager")and very sternly asked, "how can I help you?". We kindly told her that we were being well taken care of already. However, again, she asked in a very stern way, "how can I help you?". We told her that the other manager had us all taken care of by giving us a discount for our inconvenience. Tara, having come across as harsh from the beginning, became even worse. She immediately responded in quite the rude manner, "you will NOT be getting ANY sort of a discount!". Confused, we told her the other manager had already taken care of us. Again, Tara snapped back, "there is absolutely no reason for you to have a discount." Even after we explained to her the entire situation of what happened, (in front of the young woman/department manager), she said, "due to the fact that I make a lot more money than her, I have the authority to tell you, "NO!". It was blatantly obvious to my husband and I, that Tara despised her job and the people she had to work with. It seemed the last thing on her mind, was doing what she could to make sure we left happy and would be repeat customers. She was an angry person with a terrible attitude. It was quite shocking to us that she was a manager. I wish I could remember the names of the other employees who had been so kind and helpful and especially the young woman who was the department manager. Hopefully it helps to note that this situation took place at the Ammon, Idaho Walmart off of 25th street on Saturday June 11, 2016 around 4:30 pm. I hope that helps somewhat because that department manager deserves praise for having been so understanding and kind to us. Customer service is clearly a very important part of businesses like Walmart and all it takes is one nasty employee (or in this case, "co-manager"), to completely ruin the shopping experience for the customer. We are contemplating never coming back to this Walmart. I've always preferred other comparable stores. However, due to the kindness exhibited by the other employees and the department manager, that may be what saves us as customers in the future. read more

I came in to do the baby registry & customer service sent me to the back of the store to the photo department area, once I got there they tried sending me back to customer service (no one seemed to know anything about baby registry) then a gentleman said I had to sign up with my email on their computer. I waited 10 minutes for him to load it up on the screen then started to begin making an account & the screen froze. He then rebooted it & then their Walmart website was down so I wasn't able to register or scan my items after waiting already an hour with everything & I had just drove from Roberts to get this done. I will not be using Walmart again for baby registry & don't recommend anyone else does either. read more
